Fire bricks not fitting in my stove
I ordered fire bricks to replace my old ones that were broken/worn after 9 years of service for my Contura 850 stove. The shapes of the new fire bricks were very different from the shapes of the original bricks of the stove. They did not have any bevels to fit in the slots of the stove and most of the fire bricks were actually thicker/bulkier than the original, and one of them was actually smaller than the original counterpart. As a result they would not fit properly. I send them an email before Xmas but still have not heard anything back. Will now have to order the originals, which are also not much more expensive than the ones ordered from Stovebay.com. I should have known better and done that from the start.

Want to thank Charlene from stovebay for chasing up our order for replacement parts for our Wood burner. Had to wait a couple of weeks, but received and wood burner now in working order thank goodness as weather has turned cold.

I ordered some spare parts over a month a go. I keep contacting the customer service who have only replied once out of five emails. They apologized and said when they receive it they will send it by Royal Mail instead of EVRI delivery which they haven't. I will not use this company again. Stay clear unless you don't mind waiting months to receive your item.

I ordered a firebrick for my Ivar 5 stove. It arrived 3 weeks late and it was broken. Over the last 6 weeks I’ve phoned numerous times, have left multiple messages via email and have had no response at all.
My advice is to order your products elsewhere.
No delivery and no follow up
Parts ordered 3 weeks ago, requested tracking number and none provided. Was told 2 weeks ago that parts were dispatched but none have arrived. Have contacted them twice more and no response
Very long delivery time.
A month for the parts to be delivered, very little in the way of communication and only because I kept asking for info. Parts did arrive well packaged, delivery time really let's this company down.

Have to start with good point fast delivery at a reasonable price . But when you have a problem do not expect them to help
We had the fire delivered then we had it fitted about 1 month later then after 5 month we had a problem with the fire one of damper levers got jammed this meets we can not use the fire because it would get too hot.
Contacted company and sent photos now almost 2 months later and numerous email still no date when it will be fixed.
When you buy the fire they big up how it’s got a 3 year warranty. What use is that ?

I ordered a henley bracken 9kw center grate on the 5/11/23 it is now the 28/12/23 I phoned them about 2 weeks ago and they said it would be sent out the next day and that was a complete lies checked the website a couple of days later and they are closed until the 9/1/24 .do not order from this company as they're a complete waste of time customer service is none existing as you will get no reply.

Ordered parts for my wood burning stove, company sent out wrong items then refused to even reply to me contacting them, avoid like the plague unless you are happy to throw money away, could not use stove over xmas period and i am now having to try and find suitable parts again.
Great service, good communication and product delivered as described.
Whilst there was a slight delay between order and any confirmation email, this was clarified when I sent them an email and got an out of office (holiday) email back.
On the date they said they'd be back, they responded, provided a dispatch date and advised me of an expected delivery date. All of this matched and the stove was delivered safely and securely, straped to a pallet. All unboxed, it looks fab and has all the necessary certificates and instructions - happy to recommend.
A Very Dishonest Company
I paid for a fire surround on the 4th May, I then received an email from Stovebay.com with a reference to a credit memo, no explanation absolutely nothing.
I emailed Stovebay.com asking what the credit memo was for & they messaged saying my item was not in stock & was unavailable at my time of order.
This was not the case, the item remained in stock, the price had been adjusted. Clearly Stovebay.com was telling me false information which leads me to the conclusion the are very dishonest company that can not be trusted.
I suggest if you want an honest up front seller then don’t use this company.
