Auto-order price extortion!

I signed up to Swaggle a few months ago, having moved from another supplier with auto-order facilities, as the pricing offered by Swaggle was very competitive. However I recently received my 2nd order (auto-order) and the pricing was astronomical. It would have been cheaper not to have had it on auto-order! I tried contacting Swaggle with live chat, but got no response other than to enter my issue and email address, and despite promising that the chat would be answered, I'm still waiting for an explanation a week later.... Disappointed that Swaggle offer a good price to sign up to auto-order, and then disregard any good faith by charging almost $20 more than the advertised price if I was just buying once-off. Will be cancelling my auto-order moving forward.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re genuinely sorry for the confusion our Repeat Delivery pricing may have caused.

To clarify, you received 20% off your first Repeat Delivery order (capped at $20). If a product is on sale, the price is not fixed for future orders. So sometimes, if your first Repeat Delivery order is on a product that is on sale, your 2nd Repeat Delivery order can be more expensive.

We do however, give you 10% off your 2nd Repeat Delivery order and offer a 7-Day Price Promise to ensure that for each Repeat Delivery, you’re charged the lowest price on site from the past week (excluding multibuy promotions).

We do mention that prices can change, and we’ll email you two days before your next scheduled order with the updated price. But appreciate that sometimes these things can be missed.

My first order I bought 2 bags (3kg) of…

My first order I bought 2 bags (3kg) of Pro Plan cat biscuits. It’s been over 10 years since I bought them due to the price nearly doubling. They were delivered really quickly but unfortunately my cat didn’t eat them. I contacted Swaggle, hoping to return the bag I opened, but to my amazement they refunded my entire purchase. I never expected that and recently I bought some “Greenies” because my cat seems only to like these now.
Due to the service I received from my 1st order, I had to be loyal to Swaggle. I appreciate all the service I received from them.

First purchase at Swaggle

It was my first purchase from Swaggle. I had a very positive delivery experience and found Swaggle prices quite competitive. The quality of products I ordered met my high expectations. I would recommend this company for any pet products.

Incorrect delivery address.

Have had prior deliveries. Latest delivery has gone to wrong address.
I can not talk to swaggle about this as:
Complaints phone number leads to insurance branch and they could not assist with deliveries or provide any other phone number, even to their head office!
Automated chat does not support enquiries about incorrect deliveries or provide alternative pathway to discuss this.
I would suggest Swaggle provide a clear pathway to discuss complaints and resolve issues of mislaid paid for items.
Overall a costly and poorly handled online experience.
