Switchd changed my dual fuel supplier back to Outfox to ensure I was still receiving the cheapest fuel prices available, they do all the hard work and I just pay less. What’s not to like!

Had been with them for a few years

Had been with them for a few years, and emails didn't offer deals I wanted so they went to junk automatically. Then I got a message from my energy company informing me my account had been switched to a company who were £50 a month more than I was paying. Completely without my authorisation. It took me two months to sort it out. Hours on the phone with both companies and making a complete mess of my carefully organised finances (I'm on a very meagre pension). Then the cheeky sods had the nerve to charge me £13 for the privilege. Deeply unamused by the whole episode.

You’ve switched me to a new provider but I can’t give them meter readings without providing them with a new account number.

Avoid switchfd at all costs

I have been through hell with switchfd. They have made endless mistakes with my energy supply. They have no telephone access, and they take for ever to answer emails. When they do, they hardly ever deal with the real problem. At the moment I am finding it impossible to find out from switchd who is my energy supplier. It is impossible to deal with the real suppliers because switchd make you use an email address which is not your own. This requires a separate password and you have to remember the email address which switch has invented, Frankly this is a nightmare. Do not on any account have anything to do with them.

Difficult to regegester

I cannot contact 'Outfox the Market' because I am unable to do so. They keep asking me for a meter reading, which I am unable to do. I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions.

I am seriously considering renouncing my 'Switch' account as I now have a bill from my old supplier—not a final bill but a regular bill. I do not believe that I have been switched at all.

Easy process but some surprises

It was an easy process to switch and the new deal is good, but I was surprised by being added to a paid Switchd subscription once the switch had completed. It must have been mentioned somewhere in the emails, but it cane as a surprise to me.

Because I'm fed up of my old supplier…

Because I'm fed up of my old supplier charging wrong.
I had been I USA 3 months using nothing but a tiny freezer all that time, yet the bills did not show it.

Switch went smoothly

Switch went smoothly. Only problem was request for meter readings when I was away on holiday. Confused me, as I changed to a smart meter last year and was categorically told that this put an end to manual meter readings. Happy with the service given by Mahdi in our lengthy email correspondence to eventually sort this out.

Switchd does all the work for me. I no longer have to spend time trying to work out which is the best electricity company deal for me, and they do all the work of switching for me.

Really confusing and pretty useless
