I bought two ice bath chillers from…

Edit :My name is Kyle Koumbatis, order number is SYOCHI20251204. I have been in contact with you many times and have still have not been put through to your manager even though I have been asking for two weeks!

I bought two ice bath commercial chillers from Syochi, and unfortunately the experience has been very disappointing. Very little support or setup information was provided regarding installation, operation, maintenance, or common issues to watch out.

Within the first month, one of the flow meters — which controls the entire machine — failed completely. This resulted in a six-week wait for a replacement part, and during that time the second flow meter also started failing.

Both machines, which I use for my business, have been extremely temperamental and unreliable. They require constant monitoring and attention just to keep them operating properly. The automated on/off programming is also very inconsistent, which has become a major burden in a business environment where reliability is essential.

For example, the machine takes a significant amount of time to cool the water to the required low temperatures, which is expected under normal operation. If production starts at 7:00am, the machine would need to be running by at least 5:00am to ensure it reaches the correct temperature in time.

This means that if the machine does not start reliably and automatically every day, someone would need to be on-site at 5:00am to verify that it has turned on correctly and restart it if necessary. This creates an additional operational burden for the production team.

To make matters worse, these machines are extremely expensive, and once purchased, returning them is obviously not a simple option. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend doing very thorough research before spending your money.

I can’t recommend these products this company based on my experience. Perhaps I was unlucky and received two faulty machines, but if I could go back, I would not purchase them again. Or I’d buy locally instead. And sadly, any attempts to speak with this company is met with minimal attention and no real desire to resolve any issues. This to me has been extremely frustrating and unsurprisingly a negative review has prompted a quick response.

Thank you for your update. We sincerely want to help you, but we are completely stuck because you have repeatedly refused to provide any order information.

We have checked our system multiple times using your name and email, and absolutely no record exists. Without an Order ID, invoice, or company name, we cannot verify who you are, which machine you have, or how to reach you to ship replacement parts.

If you are a real customer facing actual business losses, sharing a simple Order ID to get your machines fixed should be your top priority. Continuing to update this negative review while withholding your order details makes it impossible for us to support you.

I commissioned them to make custom ice…

I commissioned them to make custom ice baths. I have had a few issues in the past with the chillers in the past but things we have managed to solve.

They commissioned someone else to build the custom tub. The second this arrived 2 of the 4 tubs were leaking - this is on top of the three week delay.

I flipped them over to find the leak and was horrified at how they’d been out together. The amount of glue and silicone it is clear that the tubs were leaking in the factory and they were trying to cover up a mess.

I asked for a partial refund. 25%. J got offered 250 dollars. The custom baths cost 4000 each.

I then escalated this and was offered 1009USD off my next order. My client is seriously angry by these ice baths and I confirmed I would chase a refund

In 15 years of business this is one of the most dishonourable businesses I have ever dealt with.
