Extremely Rude Staff named Sandra on Balbriggan Tesco.
I recently bought a pair of discounted leggings at Tesco and asked the cashier if I could exchange them if they didn’t fit. She assured me it would be fine with a receipt. However, when I returned to exchange them for a larger size, Sandra, the customer service rep, was shockingly rude and unhelpful. She dismissed my request, was abrupt, even threw the items back at me, and refused to process the exchange.
After nearly an hour of back-and-forth and asking for a manager, another employee stepped in, apologized, and completed the exchange without any issue. I’ve always had positive experiences with Tesco’s staff in Balbriggan, but Sandra’s behavior was disappointing and unprofessional.

On my last two visits to Tesco Artane I've been charged higher prices than those displayed. First time I was charged €5 for bulbs that had a price of €4.50. It seems the bulbs that the price was for were out of stock so they put different bulbs on the shelf but didnt change the price. I ended up being charged over 10% more than the price advertised. Today I was charged €3.15 for butter with a €1.30 club card price. Again, the butter that should have been there was out of stock and replaced with a double size of the same butter which was not on offer. So instead of €1.30 for 200g it was €3.15 for 400g. Or over 21% higher than the advertised price. I only copped these because I was doing a small shop and knew my bill was way too high. Shame on you Tesco for ripping off your customers in this manner.

Hi, just want to thanks the lady and gent on the phone stand today, at Tesco, Airside, Swords, Dublin, really helped an elderly lady out when I needed a new phone and made the move over easy for me really appreciated their help today.
Useless customer service
Driver forgot my freezer goods. Had left our house (easy mistake, it happens). Contacted customer support to say he never handed in the box of freezer produce in error. Refused to help quoting GDPR - My wife ordered the shop this morning before leaving on a flight. Explained to customer service Im house bound with illness with 4 children. I explained I'm logged into my wife's account on our PC . There was no way to she could call as was on a flight. Told I could email my query in. A simple call to the driver would have resolved the issue. Told couldn't help due to GDPR which is completely incorrect. There was no account information to be given over, no breach of GDPR, no information was sought etc. it was explained it was tesco maynooth driver. A simple call from customer service to the driver would have resolved the issue straight away without causing me grief and wasting everyone's time. Two calls to customer service and both agents were less than useless. The tesco driver even gave out when he came back to me some time later as he spotted the mistake on his last delivery, thus wasting his time (for the record he made the mistake but was nothing short of a gent apologizing). Would have saved him the time (I called within two mins of him leaving) and saved me the anxiety, anger and outright frustration dealing with useless customer service had a simple call been made. Will not be using tesco delivery ever again. Have left Google reviews outlining the above information. Train your staff better. Simply not good enough

Informed Tesco Ireland via email that an aspect of the Deposit Return set up was not accessible. Emailed 4 times now. They responded twice, but have since ignored me & not responded or attempted to fix the issue.

Customer check out service in the store was very poor today and many other times as well, when I try to use the old checkout system. There seems to be a policy to force people to use the auto checkout system.
Other people I know had a similar experience.
Great customer service from Nuala
A lovely lady Nuala was so friendly and professional today. I had an issue with an All4one gift card at the checkout. It could have been a very embarrassing situation but for the help and guidance of Nuala. She is usually on the selfscan check out. I was so impressed with her.
Tesco's club card (bullying) program
Tesco's price polices are disgraceful. If you decide not to subscribe to their club card program, giving away your (extremely valuable data) data, you have to face ridiculous prices for some of the items sold by Tesco.
Prices of some products are inflated by as much as 100% if you don't have a club card. Tesco is basically bullying its customers to subscribe to its club card program in order to pay the same price as other main street supermarkets.
I am refusing to be bullied by Tesco and I would ask all the club card holders to cancel their cards and go shop somewhere else
Deliveries from Midleton
Deliveries from Midleton, Cork, are mostly great. Most of the ordered products are in stock, deliveries are pretty much always on time. Every so often there are issues with very short expiry dates or missing products, but they usually get resolved quickly and politely.

When completing my scan as you shop there was a need for items to be randomly scanned, which is fine, a woman came over to "help" and while huffing and puffing that she had to do her job she starting throwing my bagged shopping around taking things out from one bag and throwing them into the other and digging to the bottom of the bag for items to scan rather the just scanning a few items from the top of each bag. I felt like she was trying to catch me out for not scanning something, her attitude was appalling. I was so taken aback by it that I forgot to scan my vouchers (about €25) when I asked another staff member about it he said the first lady would be able to refund the receipt and reprocess with the vouchers, I went back over to the lady and she said no she can't refund me and questioned why I wanted a refund, then pointed me to customer service. They manager said the lady could definitely have done the process for me and he would have a word with her, no apologies for the inconvenience though.. at that point I was so annoyed by the whole situation I just got a refund for everything and left my shopping there. I will definitely not be going back to Tesco Liffey Valley.

If I could give zero stars I would. I sustained an injury in the Bray branch and staff couldn't be less interested. Jaded and unhelpful. Even worse is the so called communication from Head Office. The CEO is on sick leave and it appears nobody is acting as interim .It really is no wonder the store is empty most of the time.

I was collecting my click & collect and a little early but she came right out with my order & was absolutely lovely, very professional & helpful.
I buy 90% of my groceries from this shop, despite being close to Aldi and other local shops.
Since Tesco took it over, the staff seem happier are keeping products locals want and we have lots of new faces along with our lovely friendly staff pre Tesco.
Im vegan & they stock so much of what I eat & listen to requests. Its a brilliant shopping experience with lovely staff and a great customer service experience. I'd give more stars if there were any.

Tesco Balbriggan.
Tesco - Balbriggan. Must have deleted tesco app in error, had full trolly of food that I was over an hour filling, and was not allowed to use my sisters club card, who was with me. Got no help or support from manager, who was called, and had to leave it all behind. Called into Aldi and shopped there, staff lovely. As it turned out, when I got home it was very easy to re instal the app, but staff didnt care.
Rotten fruit on the shelf
The oranges in packed nets and avacados on the shelf are always rotten. I am constantly packed oranges in Tesco that are pure rotten
