called to enquire why 1kg of oxtail is £33 and some pence! The woman took my number saying shed emnquire and never got back to me, then sent my further calls to voicemail. was hoping to use this company for the first time but nope!

I am not a sausage or meat eater; I eat quite healthily, but as you may know, balance is the key to everything we do in life. When we are out of balance, that is where the problem starts not only with our health but in every area of our life. Forget the so-called experts who want to run our God-given lives, who as you may have noticed, when talking about so-called diets that never work, don't seem to talk too much about balance. I am saying all that to say this. I AM CONVERTED so to speak with the CARNIVAL SAUSAGES from the black farmer. I went into M& S's New store opening day in Bullring Birmingham Westmidlands and came across the CARNIVAL SAUSAGES. the photo on the cover truly depicted Carnival at its best, which includes a variety of colours, ingredients, and good food. The fabulous, out-of-this-world magnificent, the only one-of-a-kind, tastiest sausage I have ever tasted. You can tell straight away, that these sausages were made with love. I bought a pack on the day of the opening, and knew I was going to enjoy them, and was I right? I am an advocate, and a converted sausage ambassador at the moment, and will be introducing them to all my friends and family. Don't worry Black farmer, I won't be asking for a commission, but I won't refuse a few carnival sausages. Sometimes I think my colleagues and friends probably want me to shut up, you would think I am part of the business. I went back today 10/11/23 to get another pack of carnival sausages and will be enjoying them as well. I baked them in the oven with chopped apple slices, tomatoes, turmeric, and spices, spices, and more spices. They are delicious. I was so tunnel-visioned to these carnival sausages, but will look around for any more products if any. Just thought I would let you know. As a nation, we are quick to complain, gripe, and mourn, and not good at giving compliments, and positive feedback where due. THIS IS NOT JUST SAUSAGE, THIS IS THE MOUTH-WATERING DELICIOUS, CARNIVAL SAUSAGE.

Placing, and receiving my order was great. I was impressed with how my order was packed. I ordered Rib eye steak, and Lamb which I didn’t find as soft as I wanted. I normally get the Black Farmer eggs via Ocado, but ordered directly and they wasn’t as rich I was expecting.

Good website, easy to navigate and easy to order. Plenty of choice, and nice to have household and artisan gifts available too. Can't speak to delivery or quality of items as I was pre-ordering for delivery in December.

My order was delivered quickly delivered. The packaging is excellent. But most of all the food is exemplary. his is our second order and we have no complaints and are looking forward to making our next order.

My order included a variety of meats. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I ordered chicken livers which were some of the best I have ever come across - hardly any waste and good size livers. The lambs liver was also excellent - extremely fresh and tender when cooked. I have also made a casserole with the neck of lamb. This, predictably, had a certain amount of fat running through it but by cooking it very slowly that melted away. I added some Black Farmer mint sauce towards the end of cooking which was delicious. I had no qualms about freezing the rest of the order as everything looked so fresh.

From order to delivery it all went well. The products are first class, taste amazing and I will continue to shop here

Chicken wings rotten and not smelling good

The sausages were phenomenal. The texture is nice and firm, the taste is what I wanted it to be, and the seasoning is well balanced. Everything was right for me.
I am an ex head chef and and former executive chef (now retired).
This is my personal opinion. But I hope it helps.
