Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really sorry to hear this was your experience.

The gift message should absolutely have been included and we sincerely apologise for that oversight. We’ll be contacting you directly to put this right.

Our boxes contain around 600g of cheese, as stated on the product page, and we focus on sourcing exceptional artisan cheeses at peak condition. We know our selections are a bit of a luxury, and we work hard to ensure the price reflects the quality, provenance and care that goes into each box. We’re sorry this didn’t come across in your experience.

In terms of packaging, the security sticker is placed over the box seal so any tampering would be visible on arrival, but we appreciate your feedback and will take this on board.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for giving the cheeses a try!

Our Mystery Cheeseboxes are all about giving great cheese a second moment, which does mean they can be closer to their best-before than our full-price selections. That said, all of our cheeses are hand-cut and wrapped fresh on the day of dispatch and delivered the very next day, so they shouldn’t be tasting “old” - even when they’re nearing the end of their date.
