use to be great, now rates are not competitive
update 2: Charlie Hicks from the currency account helped me out by placing advance rate order in and get a good rate for me during the surge of sterling , kudos to him and I would recommend him
update: i recieved follow up call from the company and they are aware the issue and i appreciate their efforts. I will give them a try again and hope they will improve their rates over the board in the future.

use to be great, then they switched to the ordinary deduct-rate-as-fees charging scheme, which has zero differentiation with banks, whats worse is that no preferential rates no matter the amount you exchange. Even with large lumpsum, i now do not get any better rates.
Then lately their rates became even worse than what HSBC offers (GBP-CAD) if i exchange same amount, i have tracked over six months and saw terrible rates consistantly, i have records so welcome anyone who wants to dispute my conclusion to show otherwise.
With such garbage rates, why would I bother transfering my money out from bank to here then exchange and transfer back again, losing fees each way?
I am extremly disappointed, now pulling all my fund out. What a pity!

Smooth and easy
The TCA website is very easy to navigate and use. The rates offered are very competitive. Transferring out is very smooth. Communications are excellent. The only issues I’ve ever had have been due to security blocking of cards by my bank.
