Purchased the Atwood King Size bed in the showroom, Kim was super helpful with fabric choice and had great product knowledge. The bed is very sturdy and looks very boutique/ expensive, received a lot of compliments since the bed arrived.

Order arrived within the quoted lead time with regular updates from both the company and the delivery team.

Wouldn’t recommend. I spent 1k on the bed. I was in work when it was delivered so a family member accepted it. Obviously you would not have time to immediately unwrap it to inspect it before the delivery drivers leave. Upon putting the bed together I noticed the fabric was worn in one area. I was told nothing could be done regarding this as it wasn’t mentioned upon delivery. The bars to hold the mattress on were bent.

Fours months on and I have black dirt on both sides of the bed frame, cream fabric, from the gas hydraulic mechanism from opening and closing the ottoman bed. When I rang customer service I found the manager to be quite rude and questioned whether the dirt was actually from the mechanism. The black dirt literally comes off the gas cylinder onto my fingers and with it being on both sides which I sent photos of I found this to be quite accusing. I would not spend the extra money due to the poor quality and customer service. I think I could have got a nicer bed cheaper else where.

I contacted Nathan to place my order with The English Bed Company as I am moving abroad next month and was nervous about having a delayed delivery.
I also ordered extra fabric to have my own ottoman re-upholstered to match my new bed.
My orders went through exactly as discussed on the phone, within the promised timeline and with regular email updates. Communication with the delivery service was also perfect.
10 out of 10 for customer service!
The bed itself is absolutely stunning, I love it. It feels sturdy & is made of quality materials. It has since been re-packed ready for the move so haven't slept in it yet but I am looking forward to it.
I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

The samples are large and gave me a very good idea of how the colours and textures would suit my room.

Lovely quality product. Good selection of fabric but it did take a lot longer than advertised to come and then longer to be delivered after this.
Unfortunately there was no update on the order delay while we waiting.
When I did contact the company their communication was good although the initial email didn’t really explain why there had been a delay or that once the bed was ready for be dispatched it could take a further week before we got our delivery date.
The delivery company did communicate really well on the day of delivery however they were delayed and arrived a long time after we had initially expected them.

Fabric samples arrived really quickly following the order and were of great quality. Was really helpful in deciding which fabric to go for.

Do NOT order from this company without reading all the one star reviews complaining about this company. The worst customer service I have experienced. The beds themselves were not as bad as some people here have had, although the frame is too large and there is far too much space around the king size mattresses. However both beds arrived with dirty marks and scuffs on the expensive fabric I provided. TEBC sent someone out to clean the beds and the liquid they used bleached the fabric badly in all the areas the liquid was used and it is now in far worse condition than it was with the marks. TEBC denied that any cleaner had been used, (even though I saw it myself) and said that it was only a steamer used despite me sending images of all the damage. There's a small chance you could be fine if there are no issues or you need assistance prior to them receiving your payment, but as soon as you've paid if there are any problems, forget it. My advice is to take your business elsewhere.

Your company response on Trustpilot is a lie. To say you cannot verify the mattress when I have sent you photos. You have not even tried to help me when the bed you made is unusable. My son has also really hurt his foot in the huge gap trying to get off the bed. Pls can you refund me as it is dangerous and I cannot have it in my house

Top notch and very professional service from Diane. I received my custom made pillow cases very swiftly and they were gorgeous. Diane promptly supported me with dealing with a measurement issue (that was my own fault) at no extra cost! Superb service, and quality items. Thank you!

I am so so happy with this purchase! The bed is absolutely gorgeous! It's even more special than we thought it might be, we love it! We got a super king harper studded in a light blue colour after a lot of procastrination over whether to get the emperor then learning it was even bigger than expected. Very happy with our choice. The frame is really sturdy and solid (and heavy!). The colour matches our room perfectly and is a beautiful fabric.

The delivery was very professional too. They were in and out in 30mins tops. Had to take apart the headboard to fit up the stairs but that was no trouble and they were careful of everything, and made sure I was happy before leaving.

I was a bit unsure about whether to go for this, as a bed is a big investment and English Company are cheaper than many other retailers so I worried about the quality. But it’s really top quality material and design, and for the price is amazing! We got an Emma mattress in the sale which is also great and so comfy.

Beautiful well made bed. The head board and base look lovely, but most importantly the mattress is soooo comfy its like being in a top hotel. Only downside is I keep wanting to get in there early every night and not get back out in the morning!!

The Bloomfield bed is lovely apart from the joins from the legs to the beds are poor quality and not substantial enough. The bed moves when you turn in bed as the legs are only held on with a thin bracket.

Nathan was very helpful and answered my questions via email very promptly. Luke and Richard were great at delivering our bed - they exercised great care and were very quick. They even helped me put on the mattress too. Highly recommend from start to end.

The delivery guys Luke and Richard were fantastic. Clear communication from the beginning. The bed was delivered on time with care and both guys were friendly and helpful in getting the bed and mattress into the house. Nice to have some delivery guys who actually care about the job they do.

The English Sofa Co. is the side I delt with, and I have to say the guy who took my order was great. Very patient and understanding after being both knowledgeable and informative, as when it came to payment I found that I couldn't find my debit card, which obviously caused me a little bit of mild panic, He talked to me very patiently as I searched. When I realised where I'd left it we agreed I'd call the following day. Again he was polite and very kind. I am now looking forward to receiving my furniture in a few weeks, not a couple of months if you're lucky when buying furniture from more often than not China.

Easy to order, responsive team when I cashed to check for updates, delivery was smooth and the bed is great!

After 18 months our Emperor Bed is buckling. All four legs are bending outwards and the metal brackets are broken on two legs. It is going to cost us a fortune to try to repair it. Such an expensive bed for such poor quality. There is clearly a design fault that they are not willing to resolve.

I can’t rate these guys highly enough!
We have our bed positioned in the middle of the room facing the sea.

Our quest was to find a new Emperor bed that would have the back headboard covered without any nuts or bolts showing.

Nathan, the sales chap was very patient with all of my questions and took the time to speak to the production Manager to see if they could help with our bespoke request. He is a lovely chap and a good representation of the company and products.

It no doubt was a challenge for them to create my vision but they not only rose to the occasion, they exceeded my expectations. Our new bed frame is exquisite, it’s a work of art and they have blown my fiancé Jeff and I away with their skills.

The delivery wait wasn’t too bad either!

The two chaps who had the challenge of getting the solid headboard up our stairs and making up the frame were lovely, professional, friendly and clean and tidy.

We ordered a large Emperor ‘Harriet’ bed in the ‘Moritz Dove’ material and no studs.

Its gorgeous.

I have already told friends about how fab this company is and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Yes you can find cheaper beds on the internet but the quality of these beds is worth every penny!
