Terrible company

Terrible company. I bought a $400 boots for my wife as as Christmas gift. I never received them. Fedex tracking number kept showing pending after a month. I called the company they said they have no liability and that I should deal with the third company myself. That they won’t process a refund. They also said I should’ve insured the package, I never saw that option when purchasing online.
Regardless I’ve never had this situation happening especially with high end products.
Very disappointing to get robbed like this.

Poor Quality

The Frye socks have the Frye name on them. They are soft as advertised. After one wash, they look so bad that I would be embarrassed to wear them.

STAY AWAY FROM FRYE

I have purchased 3 handbags, a wallet and a pair of boots from Frye. On two of the handbags, the handles broke. After numerous emails and phone calls back and forth with the company, one bag was eventually repaired, however it was very poor quality which Frye would not "guarantee". For the second bag, I was told the quality guarantee was only for 30 days from purchase. To retail their products at prices that compete with better products, the lack of a quality guarantee is unacceptable. Save your money and buy a more reputable brand that will add value as the years go on.

The Frye Company is completely…

The Frye Company is completely dishonest. I had been saving up for an eternity to purchase a pair of Frye boots. I am a single mom of 5 so I rarely get an opportunity to splurge on myself.

The second time I wore my boots the inner lining tore at the heel as I slipped my foot inside.

I reached out to Frye to start a return. They requested pictures of the torn liner and after some sort of deliberation they decided to honor my request and sent me the return labels.

Imagine my surprise when a package arrived at my doorstep three days ago and inside was the boots I had sent back and a letter explaining that I did not meet their criteria for a return.

This is simply beyond the pale. The Frye company stole my hard working money- they sent me a product that was defective and did not honor their return- the return they approved after seeing pictures.

The Frye Company has the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. Buyer beware.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever! They sell squeaky shoes and their quality is lousy ! They block customers from calling and will not give address to send complaints! But they don’t stop sending advertisements and text messages! They sell 400-600 dollars squeaky shoe !! Don’t buy from Frye!!

Do not buy from this brand

I've never left a review on any product but feel too compelled here not to. For those who don't feel like reading my ramblings to follow, just heed everyone's advice here and DO NOT BUY FRYE!!!!

Ordered a pair of boots a while back, they were fine, but by no means worth $300 of my hard earned cash.

The other week I saw a sale on two shirts. Pictures looked great. Size was right. I bought two.

Of the two, I haven't received one and the customer support refuses to help me out.

Some reasons to boycott this company and get them off the face of the earth:
- Poor quality. Worse than anything else I've ever worn (this is NOT an exaggeration).
- Terrible customer service (also, some of the worst I've seen).
- Never delivered 1/2 of my order (stole money).
- Shirt was in wrong color.
- Shirt was in wrong size.
- Shirt is an overall piece of (fill in the blank).

Don't buy from this brand. You've been warned. If only I had seen this page two weeks ago...

The FRYE Company is deceptive

The FRYE Company is deceptive. I paid around $47.50 for FedEx 2Day shipping, which was said to arrive in 2-3 business days. I ordered on a Saturday. By Thursday afternoon (four business days later--Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), the bag had not arrived. Notwithstanding this indisputable arithmetic, the customer care team at FRYE said that delivery by Thursday was within their FedEx 2Day shipping promise. This company is so deceptive they will tell you 1 + 1 + 1 +1 = 3. Imagine how deceptive they must be about the quality of their product.

The Frye Co

The Frye Co. makes beautiful quality boots HOWEVER their return/exchange procedures suck or are nonexistent. When ordering products you expect consistency in the products you're ordering. However, when that consistency isn't met, as in sizing and an exchange in product is needed you can forget it.
One of the most important aspects of a company is not only in the products your purchasing but in the customer care you receive on the backend of a purchase. When that isn't met business is lost because of the lack of actual customer service. Customer service isn't about selling a product but about taking care of the customer after the purchase is made. I've purchased 7 pair of boots in the past 2yrs. (many more prior) and hate to say I will no longer be giving my hard earned money to Frye in the future, that totals in the thousands.

Absolutely the worst company I have…

Absolutely the worst company I have ever purchased anything from. Product quality is worse than I could ever thought of. I have sent 5 inquiries in against their defective goods policy only to be met with silence. The private equity firm that bought this company is a turn and burn and doesn’t give one crap about anything. This company is everything that is wrong and there products are absolute crap!!

Fraudulent Special Offers -- Sales are not applied

I strongly suggest the consumers who read this review to exercise caution when they make orders from The Frye Company. The impression I got is that this business has the model of a second-rate used car dealership. Fake promotions, no interest in customer satisfaction, and most importantly no interest in returning customers is the imprint that I got from them. The products are overpriced so, it appears, if you make one purchase this is sufficient for them regardless if you are happy with the product or not. In my case, they did not apply a sale promotional that I was eligible for, but reading other reviews it seems that they are also notorious for their return practice; that is, if you return your product, it is a good chance that you will not get reimbursed.

One week ago, I ordered a pair of shoes from them. When I made the purchase and when I received it, there was a special offer that I did not notice at the time of the purchase. When I called customer support to have the promotional sale applied to my order, the representative condescendingly told me that the sale had expired the day before.

First of all, I need to note that when I made the purchase the sale was taking place. When promotional sales are not applied, this is illicit and against customer protection rules. In simple words, you promote your products with offers that you are not planning to offer. Obviously, I will proceed with a report to consumer proceeding agencies, and campaign this incident to the social media. They rely on a model "what are you going to do about it?"We will see "what are you going to do about it?" when you continue scamming people.

The other remark that I need to make is the unprofessionalism of their customer support. They never returned my email, and when I contacted them, their representative was a bored and extremely rude individual. I am under the impression that this business is operated in someone’s basement, and it is not a legitimate retailer.

When you buy shoes online, customer service is perhaps more important than the quality of the shoes themselves. You need to be able to effortlessly return your items if the shoes don't fit you and also be able to communicate with the customer support team. In other words, the retailer has to be trustworthy when they charge $300 and $400 products to the customer. It seems that with these guys you are taking your chances, and this is not something that I want to do at this price range.

Because what they did in my case is fraudulent, based on existing protection laws, I am not planning on staying idle. I will communicate this incident to my credit card, Amazon Pay, and to consumer agencies

I don't usually write reviews but when…

I don't usually write reviews but when you spend a lot of money on products especially from an iconic brand like Frye you expect them to have good customer service policies.

I purchased the new Kenzie Venetian flats at the end of January in an 8.5 which is my normal size but occasionally have to go up to a 9. However, these felt big, floppy even, but I really loved the look and thought maybe an insert would help. I really wanted these to work so I wore them with the insert around the house a little bit but they absolutely killed my heals because the leather is so stiff and my foot keeps lifting out of them.

Needless to say now that the season has arrived for me to wear them I have decided I just need to return them after 50 days, they haven't been worn outside.
The bigger problem is that they will not take them back after 30 days, which is ridicules! What kind of policy and customer service is that?!
I have been a consumer of their boots since the 70's but I will never buy another pair again. Buyer Beware.

I bought my first pair of Frye…

I bought my first pair of Frye (Engineer) boots 15 years ago. I get them serviced every year and they are still in great shape. WHAT. HAPPENED. The boots I bought a couple years ago are falling apart. I took them to get serviced and my cobbler explained it's because they didn't actually stich the boot to the heel/sole, they put in FAKE STICHES and just GLUE the darn thing together. What a ripoff. I used to get compliments from bikers and truckers on my Frye's and now that they are "fashionable", the quality is terrible. Shame on you Frye.. you used to have a great name.

High Cost, Poor Quality, Terrible Service

My husband purchased the Melissa bag for me for Christmas last year. Before Halloween this year, the grommet on one of the straps broke. That's right, the metal grommet broke in half while I was out. A $400 bag embarrassed me terribly.
I emailed customer service per their 1-year defect warranty as listed on their website. I received a reply that they do not do repairs. I then replied that all I needed was the replacement grommet so that my expensive bag would match and that I would pay to have it repaired. They don't even carry replacement parts for the low-quality things they sell. Now if I want to have the bag repaired, it won't match. Ridiculous for what we paid for it.
I was so disappointed with what was supposed to be a quality brand with a reputation for cost, but for value. This was my first purchase from Frye, and despite the intent to develop a relationship of brand-loyalty, it will be my last.

Absolute garbage returns department

Absolute garbage returns department. I returned a pair of $400 boots that I bought. They were too big so I decided to return them. I didn't see any return label in the box so I went to the post office and bought a label through them. After waiting for a decent amount of time, I called customer service and they told me to wait up to 14 business days before I got a credit. After the 14 business days came and went, I called back again and was told to wait 24-48 hours to get a credit. After the 24-48 hours came and went, I called back again. This time, they told me that they confirmed with their warehouse that they never received the package and that I would need to go back to the post office and file an undeliverable package claim. My post office tracking number confirmed that the package was delivered on 10/07. I was told today, 11/04, that they never received the package, after speaking with these people numerous times for updates. Frye returns is absolute garbage.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! They do everything possible not to process returns. I tried retuning shoes on 10/26 and was told that the system was down and that they would call me the following day to process. No call. 11/1 I tried processing the return to be told that their systems were down. What an awful company and what a SCAM!

Poor Quality

Purchased two pairs of flip flops and both sets broke after very little wear. A lot of money for poor quality shoes. Reached out to customer service twice via email and they never even responded.

I was a very loyal customer but will never purchase from them again

I was a very loyal customer and love their boots have 9 pairs and only ever had to send one back. With Covid my purchases have switched from instore to online which I started buying direct from them. I purchased boots on February 6th at full price $498 and the boots which I love showed up on 2/15, 3 weeks later the boots are on sale for $214, I reach out to their customer service on March 9th and a very sweet lady told me they will issue the credit, sweet so I immediately purchased another pair of boots. Then on 3/14 I received an email stating it was outside their 30 day return policy which is based on when I purchased, I responded that the boots showed up on 2/15 which if I bought them in a store would be the date of purchase and that I have purchased 3 pairs of boots already in the past two months and ordered another same day, but they would not budge. So despite how much I love their boots they do not care about their customers and are willing to loose a customer who spends alot of money with them for $280, so unfortunately as soon as I receive my most recent order I will return without even opening.
