Ordered a pair of frames to try on before ordering with lenses if they were suitable. Paid by ApplePay, got no order confirmation email. Waited and still nothing so have no sent two chasing emails and no contact at all. I’ll now have to contact the bank using the Visa guarantee. Very disappointing

I'm on to my third pair now - good quality and perfect lenses. What more needs to be said?

You don’t get an immediate confirmation of order which can be a little unnerving. I sent an email checking all was in order and had a response within 24 hours confirming everything was good. I was contacted a few days later to download an app to provide my Pupillary distance which was simple and then 10 days later received my glasses. I am already thinking of buying another pair.

Great service. Glasses arrived after 2 weeks and looks really good. I would have given 5 star but for the fact I need to get accustomed to glasses.

Excellent, bought 3 pairs of prescription glasses recently delivered within 2 weeks.
The only thing they could do better is send order confirmation/ despatch emails.

I had no receipt initially when ordering so held the payment with PayPal and emailed them. They only got in touch when they realised as all of a sudden I got an email receipt. Payment was released then last week noticed one lense it falling out. The phone number on their website goes to an automated reply to email. I have and sent them all the photos and now nothing. Absolutely rubbish if using be warned and pay via PayPal

Completely messed up my order and fail to follow prescription. Wouldn't recognise the problem. Pretty disappointing. Never again.

I was a bit wary after ordering and reading reviews about no confirmation email and some bad experiences from others. But my order went really well, if you set up an account, when ordering, all the information is on there ie your order, estimated delivery etc. My order was delivered 7 days earlier then estimated, I will be ordering again in the future.

I place my order and paid through PayPal. The only receipt or contact I got was a PayPal receipt. No email confirmation of the order. When I tried to check the order on the website it wouldn’t accept my order number. I even started to think I’d been scammed when I heard nothing.
I got to the point where I was going to ask PayPal for a refund.
Glasses company you need some better communication through the order process.
Overall I have my glasses and am very happy with them.

Great price and easy to order what I wanted. Good communication when ordering but I was told I would receive an email when my specs were ready for despatch,which I didn’t so my specs were just dumped behind my gate by the courier. Lucky they were well packaged so weren’t damaged. I would definitely recommend the glasses company.

Communication is sadly lacking. There is no email to advise the order has been accepted. No timescales
for delivery. No email to advise out for delivery. Unable to contact as telephone number is just an automated message. Would not use again

An excellent selection of designer frames at a fraction of the price you would pay at your highstreet optician.

Unfortunately the frames I had originally ordered were no longer in stock with the companys supplier so I was contacted directly by the company to ask which frames I would like to swap them with. Service was great, polite and really fast responses! They also gave me an upgrade on lenses to make up for the inconvenience, which was of course a lovely gesture. The glasses were delivered within a week or so and each came with a case. The only improvement I'd suggest is that unfortunately quite a few of the frames I selected were out of stock or discontinued but the website was not being updated to reflect this - if this was kept up to date it would make it a lot easier!

I ordered prescription glasses from The Glasses Company (Order #68066) and provided the same prescription my optician issued — one I’ve used successfully with Specsavers, Vision Express and Glasses Direct with no issues.

The glasses I received from this company were not fit for purpose. The lenses were clearly incorrect, causing blurred and distorted vision. Despite sending detailed photos and measurements, and explaining the issue multiple times, they refused to issue a full refund.

Instead, they repeatedly claimed that “custom-made lenses are non-refundable,” even though UK consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2015) clearly states that faulty custom-made items must still be refunded. I provided the official Government guidance showing this, yet they still refused to comply.

Communication was slow, dismissive, and frustrating — I never received an order confirmation initially, and the process has dragged on for over a month with no resolution.

I’ve now had to escalate this to PayPal and Trading Standards to recover my money.

For anyone considering ordering from this company: be aware that if anything goes wrong, you may face long delays, poor communication, and a refusal to honour your legal rights.

Great Frames exactly what I needed it will be nice to be delivered quickly but I was fine with that.

Looking for a pair of Oakley sunglasses online & found these at a great price,communicating through sales was easy,received with a nice case,would buy again.

Glasses arrived after 10 workings days, so better than expected. Spot on with the correct prescription, and the price was the best I could find anywhere. Just the communication was a let down. No order confirmation which made for a concerning first 24 hours until I contacted them by email. Then no dispatch email as promised either…. Website is also a bit ropey. Dead links and dated. Would I order again? Not sure.
