Have ordered many times. Most recently, ordered and waited over two weeks to find out it wasn’t coming. A refund doesn’t make up for the inconvenience.
One of the worst formula company's to buy from! The stuffed supposedly shipped and a week later I still don't have it. They put blame on the carrier and keep giving me the runaround. Do not buy from them because they don't deliver.
This company is a scam. I placed a bulk order of Holle Goat formula with express shipping on June 25th. UPS never received the item and Milky Box has done nothing to remedy the issue. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. Their customer service team is an absolute joke. I will not be doing business with them again.
The rushed shipping seems to be a bit lagged. Ups doesnt even have the item yet, after 7 days? Unless there is a misunderstanding..
I’ve purchased multiple cans of Holle goat milk and every time I purchase it and pay priority it comes late or they can’t track the shipment until they reach out to the warehouse. On top of this inconvenience they end up sending me the wrong formula not once but every time I make a purchase there is something wrong. Not happy with this company and will not continue business after the 4th encounter with them sending the wrong formula and I still haven’t received my order.
I placed an order for eight boxes of formula on June 18. The company specified it would arrive in 2 to 6 business days. Since I had not had any news on my order, and it was business day 6, I checked the tracking provided, which still only said “label created”. I had a couple of days of formula left, so I emailed The Milky Box and specified the issue was urgent (an option they offer by the way). When I received an automated response saying they would take a few hours to answer emails (despite being marked as urgent I guess), but saying they would reply immediately to their chat, I wrote them via chat as well. This was at approximately 8:30 am, and the chat said they would typically respond within an hour at that time during weekdays.
I received NO ANSWER either way until 1 pm (4.5 hours later for an urgent issue on their end). At this time, they sent a generic apology and said they were contacting their warehouse to enquire about the order. I received another email saying the same thing that evening.
The next day, I sent an email saying I no longer wanted their product (after having had no news in over 24 hours), since I had to purchase from another company given their lack of action. Sometime that day, they replied they could not (would not?) cancel the order as it had already been processed, so no refund would be given. When I asked what sort of compensation they would provide (since, again, this is my baby’s diet, not a pair of shoes I was waiting for), they first said this was the courier’s responsibility and they had no part in that (essentially, not our problem so we’re not obligated to take any action), and second, they offered a measly 5% discount on my order in a condescending way, clearly missing the point.
On a side note, the company I ordered from and received the formula the next day charges the same amount IN CAD, whereas The Milky Box charged in USD (both charged $311.92 but they charged $311.92 USD) for the same product and amount of boxes. Which means they also rip people off.
This is beyond horrible customer service for many reasons:
1. Their complete lack of interest in the fact that their shipment was delayed, considering it is baby food we’re talking about here
2. Their poor excuse that it’s the courier’s fault. Even when this is the case, it is not the customer’s fault, and a serious company takes responsibility and attempts to right the wrong however possible, as opposed to saying it’s not their issue, so you essentially have to suck it up and be happy you will EVENTUALLY get your order
3. The fact that they did not even have the decency to cancel and refund the very late order, so they wouldn’t lose money (order which I still haven’t received almost two weeks later).
4. Their condescending compensation offer, which they only mentioned because I asked (they had absolutely no intention to offer anything to begin with), making it sound like they did nothing wrong, but I was being a nuisance, so they would give me an insulting discount to shut me up.
I should’ve read the many reviews they have on how terrible their customer service is. But I hope my experience serves other parents to steer clear of this company. Save yourselves some trouble and purchase from a serious place instead.
Long story short: I wouldn't trust a purchase to be fulfilled by the Milky Box.
We purchased $500 worth of formula but it was never shipped. Their shipping partner hasn't received the package and while customer service is responding to my questions, they're incredibly unhelpful.
We contested the charge with our credit card as they're refusing to issue a refund.
Luckily, I got bad vibes after day 3 and used another online shop to purchase our formula. That replacement order was received in 3 days. Compare that to 2 weeks of fighting with the Milky Box for a simple status update.
I wouldn't trust them to fulfill an order.
I ordered from this company for 8 months with only a single delayed shipment. No issues other than that. Unfortunately, I have now placed multiple orders, they were never filled, they are "working on" a refund of over 800$ and I still have not been refunded. This has been going on for 2 months, I had to order food for my child from another company. They have terrible customer service, as long as you get your product it will be fine but don't use them. Its not worth the risk if you cant feed your child. Go with someone else. I am still fighting them.
Terrible, slow shipping every time. I will stick to formuland from now on.
I’ve been ordering formula for my daughter for the last almost two years and this has been the BEST experience with any online company. They had what we needed in stock, and responded to an evening email that I sent about a rush delivery. And formula is arriving in two business days! Beyond impressed with The Milky Box!

Absolutely terrible experience. I received an unlabeled box of formula with no invoice or receipt inside. This was strange because I had not ordered any formula. I had to go to my credit card statement to see that the milky box had charged me $297. I immediately called them because I did not authorize this, never received any payment notification from, shipping, notification, anything.
I went back-and-forth with their customer service, who did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. They told me I had an account with them, I do not have an account with them, and I asked for proof of this account proof of any notifications they sent me, and they could provide none.
I had shopped with them once before, but did not have a good experience then either, so somehow, my credit card information was still stored with them, and they auto shipped me and charged me without any notification.
I will never use this service again, my package has been stuck in the Netherlands since over 2 weeks. I had ordered the milk in advance of my visit to Canada to not have to bring milk with me or buy other brands while here. Now the shipment will arrive much after I leave Canada. So it was expensive and completely useless.
Still have no received my order or a response about my order.
