Placed two orders and one was in stock and the other come to find out was not they should really put that in the description or not allow you to buy that particular item

This is my 2nd order in a couple weeks doing some upgrades to my duramax..both items exactly as described and well priced too.only complaint is that FedEx was used to ship 2nd order

Still haven't received shipping confirmation I put in my order almost 2 months ago now

Very unhappy. I placed an order with Thoroughbred Diesel only to find out later that they do not have the parts that they sold me nor can they tell me when I will receive the parts. It would be one thing if it was just a add on part but it is a part that I need to fix my truck. I would not recommend buying from them.

Historically and this order included, I've had nothing but a five star experience with thoroughbred diesel. Between the in-depth product descriptions, great vehicle matching and customer support, as well as the thorough (and speedy) shipping updates, this company has my business for life.

Purchased 8 injectors, installed them and the truck runs like a champ. No issues at all.

So... I bought a non-remanufactured VP44 injection pump from thoroughbred diesel. To sum it all up make sure you read the warranty fine print before purchasing something from thoroughbred diesel. I ran my new VP for 4,000 miles before it died in the parking lot of my college, 250 miles from home. I am now without my truck and will be for 2 weeks by the time I get my pump back. I have to travel off-campus to some of my classes, this is extremely inconvenient. I am running plenty of fuel pressure from my fass lift pump. I tapped the wire with the stealth cover to not void the warranty, but man was I fooled. The PSG isn't even covered under warranty anyway, so what does that matter? They only warranty the internal mechanical components. And if anyone knows anything about the VP44, they know that PSG is the most common failure point. I was not aware this was not covered and now I have no other choice but to sell my truck because I'm a broke college student and I don't have money or time to deal with their warranty policy. They tell me the failure was because my stealth cover tap was not correctly installed but I took my time reading the directions and installed it properly. My main concern here is why did it fail 4,000 miles later and not on the first startup after installing the stealth cover if I pierced the needle too far? At this point I'm having to cover the cost of a new PSG, I'm buying a remanufactured PSG for $400 or whatever it is and selling the truck after. Their asking $700 for a non-remanufactured PSG. $700 is more than half the price of what I paid for my pump. I would recommend looking further than thoroughbred diesel for your parts.

I have an issue with Thoroughbred diesel. They recommended a mishimoto radiator to me for my 2006 LBZ Chevy 2500 HD. Eight months later the radiator started leaking. I took it to a mechanic he said the weld on the radiator had failed. I called MishiMoto they said I would have to pay for shipping and labor to replace the radiator. I said your product failed in eight months why would I have to pay for anything. They said they will not pay for the shipping no matter what. I reached out to Vincent at thoroughbred diesel and he said there’s nothing we can do they make a quality product. Turns out that Mishi Moto makes a really crappy radiator. And thoroughbred diesel is covering for them. Do not use MishiMoto for anything and do not use thoroughbred diesel for any parts whatsoever. Thoroughbread diesel will not stand behind anything and they will not help to make things right.

I purchased some kryptonite hub bearings from these guys through eBay. Waited damn near a month before I asked about the shipping status. Three days going by with no luck on a response. Never shipped my part. P1SS poor customer service in my opinion. By far the worst service I’ve experienced. God dang Chinese sellers are 100 times better than this so called American company. Just got out of business already.

Bought the 2 year warranty vp-44. Installed it the truck ran for 2 miles then crapped out. I suggest if you need this pump by it any where else but here!

Put my truck in a shop here in Cynthiana, Ky 11/17/20 (very reputable shop)
They purchased a VP44 injection pump from Thoroughbred Diesel & installed the pump (24 month warranty). 3 wks later the pump goes out with 653 miles. My shop sends pump back for warranty which Thoroughbred sent out somewhere else to check out. They said warranty was voided because it was contaminated from water......I call BS!!!
My truck had been to a shop prior to this to check for water, they drained & dropped tank cleaning, change filter etc which I have receipts for. The shop that installed pump also checked for water ( none found)
Wes at Thoroughbred diesel would not honor warranty so I called & tried with no luck. Called again to talk to owner but kept getting the run around, never did get to talk to him also left a voice mail to return my call which owner never did. Called again and talked to Vince, I told him i would like to get this resolved since my truck has been back in shop since 12/17/20 which is way to long to be resolved. Needless to say he didn't care & his customer service was very immature. I would think that if the owner truly knew all this bad feed back was going on that he would check into it because this is a poor excuse for a business, period!!!
I also told Vince he would be hearing from my lawyer, he started shouting something & hung up.......again,Very Immature.
My advice would be not to buy anything from this company period, even if you have to pay a little more for a reputable company because in the long run it will be well worth it. I have heard from people in person who got ripped off by them, wish I had known before this.
Oh, if anyone has had to use a lawyer for them please contact me.
We are going after them big time and will also post my reviews on other sites & BBB along with Ebay which they sell their parts on too. which I suggest the rest of you who got a bad deal do the same thing.

Bought a vp44 injection pump for $1225 a bd diesel stealth cover for $69 on 8/11/20. After troubleshooting the truck for two weeks called about the pump being bad. I sent the pump back to the shop to test (it is not thoroughbred, it’s the shop that actually rebuilds them, thoroughbred does not build the pumps) it test good on the test bench after I tried to emphasize that the pump acts up when hot (hard hot starting, stalling when shifting, and loping idle) had none of these problems after installing a pump from blue chip diesel. They refunded only $900 so I’m out almost $500 after shipping this bad pump back and fourth and two months of my truck not running right. Website says you can tap pump with a stealth cover but that was the reason they used to not give me full refund. Not recommend

Ordered a injection pump, injectors, and a lift pump. Injection pump shipped timely. The remainder of the parts didn’t get marked as shipped until 5 days AFTER my order. I called and was told the injectors and lift pump have a lead time from where they are shipped. This was not conveyed on the website and now a truck is down and costing money as it sits. I won’t purchase here again.
If the information about when things shipped would have been given on the website I wouldn’t have a issue. People have to plan around things like this.

I ordered a part in early Aug. 2020. Received an e-mail stating my ordered was fullfed. Never received order. When I contacted Thoroughbred Diesel and finally spoke to a live person, after several attempts, I was advised product was returned to vendor. If I had not called , I would have paid for a part, which I did not receive. Purchase your diesel parts elsewhere, so you know you will recived, what you paid for.

Excellent customer service. Call the company with some questions and answers were provided very quickly. Very fast with there shipping too.

I purchased a set of new injectors that are junk. I had them third party tested only to find out of six of them are bad and when I called Thoroubred diesel the first guy I get on the phone tells me there reman injectors so I referred him to his sales listing of longer than 6 months and he sees that his listing says there (new) and can’t explain how so I get referred to a guy named Vince who just lies to me and makes arrogant remarks about how he is not obligated too help me but he’ll do me a favor and give me a favor maybe?? Even after he finds out they committed fraud and saw my third party test results. Absolutely unexplainable Fraud. Vince is a control freak. He knows about the fraud and just continues to play games. Federal and state complaints are being filed today.... 8/19/20. Lawsuit pending wait and see. What a joke!!!!!

This company is a joke I ordered one tailgate net and they could not even produce these people sent me a delayed shipping date and then a few days before that date sent me an email asking if I received my order when they knew I did not they did not reimburse me my money and I had to go back-and-forth with them over the phone with some guy named Vince and some girl that is absolutely clueless regarding tracking this shipment was less than 1 pound and should not have been a problem but apparently it was for this company

I have ordered quite a few parts from here and have always received the correct parts. I ordered a BD diesel steering box brace for my truck on December 20, 2019 and received it on December 21,2019. I installed the brace the following day and seemed to help. They have always helped me with my questions.

I bought a map position sensor thoroughbred diesel It was Faulty I tested the ohms and continuity myself On it and my engine harness It's a badd sensor And even though it's very small and inexpensive to give a label for such an item They would not give me a return label I should have just purchased it from Cummins sales and service Directly. I would not recommend buying stuff from thoroughbred diesel not only were they unwilling to help They hung up on me 3 times and I wasn't shouting or being rude at all they were unprofessional
