Terrible shop and website, you can't buy two of the same product because the maximum quantity is 1. You can't make a one-time purchase; you can only use a subscription, WTF!?

I've been a loyal customer for years

I've been a loyal customer for years, an emerald VIP at that. I had an active subscription that I forgot about, I left my trust in the email they usually send 2-3 days before the order goes through. This time I received no email, it wasn't in spam/junk and the order was placed. Within 10 mins I tried contacting Tiege Hanley and left them an email/message on their site in the hope they'd intercept it on time.

Later, the order was then shipped from their EU/UK warehouse.

Tiege finally got back to me and gave me 2 options - keep the order but receive a flat 25% discount or return the order on my dime.

I returned the box but had to pay £44 in export taxes.

You'd think with opening an EU/UK warehouse that they'd have agents online to manage orders in those timezones but no, they only have agents working in USA Central time.

Also regarding subscriptions - would it not be better practice to include text & app notifications to let the buyer know they have an upcoming subscription? Email is not always reliable.

Tiege Hanley has just stolen £40 from me for no good reason. I never subscribed or saved my info on the tiege Hanley website I only made a 1 time purchase and now this morning Tiege Hanley robbed £40 from me. I DID NOT save my info on the tiege hanley website I only made a 1 time purchase over a month ago. Come to find out it automatically subscribed me without me knowing and stole £40 from me. I’m still waiting for a refund now! Unacceptable

Their website is terrible

Their website is terrible. If you place order with discount code they cancel it! All of my data is correct. I have used same shipping and billing address as on my credit card from multiple devices and it always cancel the order. When I am contacting them they are saying place the order again if you feel its wrong. However they don't send any discount codes when I mention I can't use the same code and the price is 40% more. They just ghost you!

Terrible product

Terrible product! has left me with red sores and itchy spots after the first few uses, there is tonnes of horrible chemicals in all the products, my face looks a mess, like acne and I have never had acne in my life! To me it’s just hyped up marketing and influencer bs.
Just buy some normal face wash and Shea butter thats a quarter of the price and not full of nasty chemicals or the subscription baiting. Not happy

I hope everyone sees this and reads this, I’m from Hawaii, I’ve been using Tiege Hanley for 1 month now, it has changed my face it was great, orders came in fast like in 8-9 days, but…. I made a order 2 months ago for acne level 2 and it still hasn’t been delivered to me, last month I ordered super serum and body wash as well, still hasn’t been delivered to me, I ran out of my Tiege Hanley products because there not delivering the orders I ordered, they scammed me, there not reaching out to me after I tried to reach out to them, I spent over $200 for all products and still have not received, gonna try a different skin routine from a different brand now, Tiege Hanley is a scam and stole my money

Reaction to the face care range

My son bought your skin care range. It left his face bright red, with a burning sensation, and with a puffy under eye area. He is still applying cooling cream to his face and neck. He has had to take antihistamines.

Shady business practices, disappointed

I’ve bought Tiege Hanley for a year and a half now. I changed my diet around the same time I bought my first box as an effort to improve my overall well being.

At first I thought the product was awesome because I saw incredible changes on my skin as it stopped breaking out almost completely. But as time went on, I’ve noticed that my flawless skin was more linked to the diet than the product. When I eat a lot of processed sugar, I start breaking out regardless of using Tiege Hanley or not.

So does it make a difference ? I guess it does on the dryness and color of my skin. It it worth 60$ CAD a month ? Probably not. The AM cream causes my skin to be much too oily and shiny. I guess it is caused by the sunscreen and I wish there was the option of getting the AM cream without it. Living in Canada, I see the sun in the winter once every two weeks. The cons simply outweighs the benefits.

But what pushed me to write a review today is their shady business decisions lately. I wanted to skip my upcoming order because I have too much product, tried to do so as usual by SMS. It didn’t work. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t skip it and thought I wrote the wrong thing so I went back to the old SMS messages only to discover that they had simply removed all of the options that could remove an item, skip an order or delay it. Why ? I guess they don’t want to make it too easy on you.

So now you have to log in to their confusing website. As soon as you log in and click on your account it will redirect you to an offer page with the text « proceed to your account » written in the lightest of blues and in font 10 at the bottom of the page.

Anyway, what I’m trying to say is they’re trying to purposely make it harder to cancel your subscription / order and I think it’s disappointing coming from a company that I’ve never had a problem with before.

My experience was good. The products solved my face dryness and Customer Service representatives Grant and Joey were helpful in solving any issues. The only issue is the cost. Nevertheless great product.

Excellent Skin Care Company

I've been a customer from Tiege for about 2 years now and before buying their products, my skin care routine was wack and way out of order, the very first box I received from them got me in the process for my skin to look amazing and clear. I've struggled with very bad acne ever since the 6th grade and before Tiege, my acne was red, swollen, and there were so many pimples on my face. After Tiege, my skin looks the best it's ever looked in a VERY long time. I would highly recommend buying from Tiege if you're looking for quality skincare products.

The packaging, upon receiving it will have the Tiege Hanley cardboard box, the products inside of it depending on which system you buy, a card telling you about all their products, a thank you card, and a card that tells you when to apply each product. They truly make it simple for you.

It’s great, but one thing.

I use the teige Hanley acne system level 2 and my experience was pretty good. Around 60% of my acne cleared up after about 4 weeks. I like how it comes in small travel size box and is very simple to use and the instructions are very straightforward. Honestly the only reason why I give this a 4 star instead of a 5 is because the wash bottle runs out to quick and I have to buy a separate bottle for my kit. I totally recommend this brand if you want a high quality facial care kit.

False advertisement to get you to buy

Honestly I love the product. But they give you this coupons for some one else to try out their product for free. And I tried to get my nephews who are teens a free box and see how it goes then I can help them with a subscription, they cancel the order. So why give a coupon? I also on my last order, it said I will get a free gift to try a diff product out next time, never did. My last order was 123 dollars. It Just makes me want to pause my subscription and not go back. Don’t tell your customers some thing, and not own it.

In my opinion it is good for those who have no problems, for those with normal skin but, for those with combination skin it is not convenient, they do not have the right ingredients that are good for their skin, only the niacinamide.

Great Product - Poor User Experience Ordering!!

The products are great. The website ordering User Experience in my opinion is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced!!

They want to sell you a subscription service which packages 3 to 4 products into a box but in my case the product consumption expired at different times making the subscription useless and the renewal of the next subscription order shipped too soon.

Finally, if you try to buy the products individually then the individual pricing of the products is grossly more expensive and not a good value.

Cumbersome & Bad Customer Care Make It…

Cumbersome & Bad Customer Care Make It Impossible To Return & Place A New Subscription Order.

I used to use the products on a regular bases, then I took about 1 year break & wanted to return, however everytime I placed the order & went to checkout to process it, I got an error page stating that the order is invalid as it has expired.

I contacted support, after more than 12 hours I finally got an answer from joi of the support team, he told me that my account is paused, and I need to press a button to reinstate before I can proceed.

So I logged back in and followed the instructions, however I could not find the restore account button.

I contacted support again, and instead of them manually processing my order, as I requested the first time around when I submitted the support ticket, and told them what I wanted to order.

Instead of doing that, I got another instruction email to deal with the technical hickups of the system, telling me that I would 1. Refresh the page, 2. Logout and then back into the account & then I should be able to see the green button to restore my account.

I spent by now at least 20 minutes if not longer to try to resolve a technical problem, that isn't mine to solve but their problem, because I am no programming expert!

Why can't support manually process the order for me and send me an update with the confirmation of my order and the receipt of it, when my credit card is on file, is it that impossible to do?! Why has customer service become so bad, that they can't assist the customer with a purchase?!

Right now I am on the brink of not ever buying their products again no matter how good they are, simply because of the bad customer care they provide !!!!!

But apparently they don't value a past customer that wants to spend another $600+ per year on their skin care products, otherwise they would treat their customers much better than they do right now with me!!!!

Everything came perfectly and the products really helped my skin.
My only complaint is that the container that the creams and all of that come in is super small.
Like compare it to the size of your hand.
