I've thought long and hard about leaving this review, as I usually prefer to let things go and move on, but unfortunately my experience with this company still plays on my mind a few months on.

Initially, I had a really positive experience. Dawn was quick to respond, seemed professional and kind, and arranged a cleaner for me very quickly. Having recently had my baby, we had fallen behind with the cleaning, so I was looking for a deep clean to get us back on track, followed by a regular maintenance clean.

Unfortunately, during the couple of months we used the service, two cleaners left for personal reasons. Initially, Dawn was helpful and supportive when this happened. However, I was then quite abruptly informed that I would not be receiving a new cleaner and that I would receive a refund for the admin fee for our current quarter.

This was when the issues really began. I followed up by email, politely asking whether there was anything I needed to know about why I had lost two cleaners in such a short space of time, but I received no response. My husband then also had to spend a considerable amount of time chasing the refund that was owed to us.

I appreciate that cleaners may leave for personal reasons and that circumstances can change, but I was disappointed by the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled, particularly after such a positive start.

Honestly, my experience with Time for You has put me off using another cleaning company for the time being.

Overall, a positive start, but unfortunately an unreliable service and disappointing communication towards the end.

By far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Extremely disappointing, Unprofessional and arrogant. I was let down 3 times by three different cleaners contracted to the St Helens/wigan branch and not once was an apology made by head of the Company, when a cleaner did commit to a weekly clean, I was really disappointed by the level of cleanliness, though she was a lovely girl and therefore, had asked for another permanent cleaner to take over weekly clean. That cleaner wanted to bring her child on the job who was unwell - and defeats the ‘job’ part as I understand her child will need supervision so would not fulfil the work effectively.
After such disappointing experiences over the weeks I’d asked to cancel the contract though I’d paid an upfront fee (that I was prepared to loose) not once have I received an apology off the branch owner, Amanda. Professionalism, commitment and great customer service starts with managerial leadership which is clearly not in place and that’s why the cleaners don’t follow high standards

I was quite happy with the service and our regular cleaner Rob was really good. The office side not great but not a major issue in that sometimes replacement cleaners for holiday cover had to be chased for. Rob again was great in making sure we weren't put out. However, our circumstances changed and I needed to cancel. I called in before the next DD was due. They couldn't do anything over the phone and said the manager would call me back. Nothing. I followed up via email but it was after money went out. This time Zed was responsive and agreed the refund minus the 1 month notice. Multiple emails and calls in post that and I have had 0 response to any of them. This is now months and also includes an online complaint to head office with nothing but an automated acknowledgment. I was told yet again this week when I called that Zed would call back in the morning - nothing. My conclusion is that it was a deliberate ignoring of my first call to take my money. Cleaners they have are great but their practices to take and keep money feels like a scam. I also didn't realise until recently that the exorbitant quarterly DD goes 100% to the franchise / managers - I thought a small % would also go to the cleaners. It's a massive shame as I would have re-booked them in the future but their lack of professionalism and shoddy service have completely changed my mind.

The most pathetic customer communication I have ever experienced. The cleaner they provided was just ok however the way the manager or franchise owner (or whatever) managed the contract and handled the communication was such a disappointment. I am asking whether any arrangements are made for cleaning this week and he is telling me my contract is cancelled as it is 1-month in arrears. How and why did that happen and most importantly you should manage it proactively so that it never ends up being in-active. On top of that, I am telling you that I'd like to continue so please arrange someone for this week and instead of renewing the contract and arranging someone he is again replying back with the same nonsense: "The domestic cleaning service arrangement that you had with our business has now ended"

Marieannette was very business like yet showed a personal interest based on our current situation. She teamed us up with a cleaner with our domestic situation in mind. Only one session so far which bodes well for the future.

We’ve had a great experience with Time For You Cleaning. Mia visited my dad’s property, assessed what was needed, and made all the necessary arrangements quickly and efficiently. When the originally arranged cleaner had to stop due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Mia promptly organised a replacement with minimal disruption.
Jenna, the replacement cleaner, has been excellent and does a thorough, high-quality clean. The whole process has been professional, responsive, and well managed. I would happily recommend Time For You Cleaning to others looking for a reliable cleaning service.

I’ve been using them for over 2 years. Had a very positive experience. Our usual cleaner is amazing, thorough but quick and very flexible. When you account for both cleaner and agency fees, the total is reasonable/normal price for cleaner nowadays. I get 2 hours every other week. I really like that they arrange a cover whenever our usual cleaner is on holidays as reliability has been an issue before when I used single cleaner services and then another agency. Actually we liked their services so much, we decided to use their commercial arm to clean our business too.

Julie explained things very clearly. Julie was very friendly and professional at the same time. I have mobility difficulties and it is hard admitting you need help and inviting someone you don’t know into your home. But Julie made me feel very much at ease.
