Issue resolved
Having had an issue described in my previous review, the management of and resolution of this by Jake and his colleagues at Townsend Records was exemplary. It’s reassuring that, when things go awry, they are sorted out efficiently and effectively, as they wete by Townsend. The replacement package arrived safely (but the outer packaging was damaged although the contents were intact) within a few days.

I have ordered albums over the past two years and each time, that are very good condition, well packed and delivered on the day stated.
The pricing is very good as I also buy from abroad and the prices are always 20% cheaper. Great catalogue.

Definitely not a serious or trustworthy company.
I placed a preorder on the very day it was announced, which included three items. On release day, I was informed that one of the items had been canceled due to a lack of stock. I contacted them immediately to ask if they could replace it with another size or let me pay for the same item in a different color so it could be included with my order. They took too long to respond, and all they told me was that the order was "already being prepared" and that if I didn't want it, I should refuse the package (of course, I would have to pay the return shipping).
It's ridiculous that they can't provide quick and simple solutions.
The worst part is that they refunded the cost of the canceled item (or at least they were supposed to), but they didn't reduce the shipping cost. Hope they enjoy the extra money...

We don't have your order number to look at specifics, and we requested your information via Trust Pilot but had no response.
We can confirm that if an item is cancelled, a proportion of the postage cost would also be refunded. If the entire order is cancelled before dispatch, the entire postage cost is refunded. We would like to speak with you to understand more on your comments for this.
We respond to all emails within 1 working day (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm). Our current average response time is 2 hours, during office opening times. We would like to know more about your comments about the team taking too long to respond, as this doesn't sound to be correct.
If you refuse a parcel on delivery, you don't pay return postage so we are unsure where this information has been provided to you.
We really want to make sure there's no misunderstanding, but without your order details we are limited on the information we can provide, so we urge you to reach out to our Customer Service Team for support if you have any questions relating to your order.
