I have been a loyal customer of Toco Warranty for five years, paying monthly premiums of $97 without fail. At the start of my contract, my mileage was 137,000 miles. Recently, I filed a claim for a transmission repair for my 2003 Honda Accord EX, which now has less than 184,000 miles. The repair was assessed by Tiretown and Muffler Repair Shop on South Monroe Street in Tallahassee, FL, an excellent local repair shop that has been in business for over 30 years and is my trusted expert on my Honda. Despite their recommendation for a re-manufactured transmission, Toco Warranty offered only $1,375 against the repair shop's quote of $5,600. This offer is inconsistent with the provisions of my contract and does not reflect the true cost of the necessary repair.

According to my contract, the lowest cost to Toco Warranty should be capped at $15,000 or the car's value for repair costs. My Honda Accord is valued between $2,675 to $6,300 according to NADA Used Car Guide (the independent source listed on their website), yet Toco Warranty's representative, Travis, intentionally low-balled the offer at $1,375. This leaves a mystery that even Scooby-Doo couldn't solve, as to who would be financially responsible for the balance of $4,400. With the looming international tariff disputes, the cost of car parts is expected to rise, making this issue even more critical.
As a loyal customer who has paid monthly premiums for five years without filing any claims, despite having opportunities to do so for repairs such as the water pump and catalytic converter, I find this decision deeply unfair. Given my history, I believe I should be entitled to some grace in paying for the repairs, minus the $100 deductible, or at the very least, the balance of $3,559, which is using the average car value of KBB and NADA.
I rely heavily on my vehicle for daily transportation and have been forced to depend on others for rides to and from work. Having experienced the challenges of public transportation for many years, I am not trying to go back to that situation. The stress and worry of potentially losing my reliable transportation are overwhelming. I urge Toco Warranty to reconsider their offer and prioritize customer loyalty over profits. Your support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The insurance company made my experience super great because Aiden kept me informed at the very moment the claim was made on my car. He even made sure I knew what was going on at and with the dealership and technicians. He also informed me ahead of time that the car part was working in the car. This really made me feel that I was important and meant something as a person. Aiden you were very clear and precise in your information given to me about the car. Great rapport!!

I have a minivan that has a warranty with this company. There is something very wrong with the vehicle. It is scary to drive at the moment. It was at an approved shop but Toco wants it to go to another place. I cannot get an appointment for over a month. I need to be able to drive 100 miles later this week for an appointment. Toco will not help in anyway with the cost of a rental since they closed the claim once I got it from the shop it was originally brought to. They are going out of their way to not take care of this issue with the van. I am worried about driving the vehicle. I am unable to go 1 month without a vehicle. According to Aidan, there is nothing they can do.

I made my first claim for a Fuel pump replacement. The process was seamless. The claim adjuster was great. No hassle. Pepboys was so impressed by TOCO the service manager said he will be referring TOCO to customers.

As a first time user , WOW!!! What a nightmare!! Been sitting here for hours at Pep Boys for Hours trying to get a claim approved for a simple Tire Pressure Sensor!! All I am getting is the run around from the claims dept and the adjuster!! And no approval even though it's covered part!! How many more hours do I need to sit here for approval on a Simple Tire Pressure Sensor!! Now the Claims adjuster needs me to leave the car for inspection!! What a joke this is!!! *****"""Update ******"On there response..I have the Warranty for over 3 months , not 2 days!! It became in full 100% effect 2 days ago. I have no control when a part goes bad. I used to have Carshield and switched to Toco , now I am afraid if I am going to have this much trouble on a simple part. What will happen on a major repair when I need to get it approved?

I had an issue with my SUV. The claim was submitted and approved the same day. The repair facility that I chose completed the paperwork and got it all approved without me having to make any phone calls or emails. I received a follow up call from.Toco to let me know everything was approved. Very happy with the customer service.
