Toner Cartridge Failure

I have used toner ink cartridges for a number of years through work. In December 2025 I ordered a cartridge personally and it lasted for 2 months only. So in March I ordered another and questioned the company why did it last for such a short time,as I had hardly used it at all. To their credit they did respond on 2/3 occasions but didn't take any responsibility, gave me the shove off etc
So after all the years of usage when it came down to fronting up , they didn't. No partial credit or refund

DO NOT BUY from TonerInk

Another well deserved 1 star review for Toner Ink

Cartridge failed after 6 pages, causing paper jams.
Sent 2 unanswered emails, and will now have to buy a replacement from another supplier.
Looking at the other similar reviews, this company should be investigated by the Commerce Commission

Terrible customer service!!!!

Toner cartridge failed/stopped printing after a very short time. My printer said the ink had run out but it was still visibly full. Extensive emails with Tonerink.co.nz, who's very limited English made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Then they accused me of being racist, when I made no mention whatsoever of race in my messages, I don't even know what race they are so how could I be racist. Terrible, appalling service by a company that sells junk and doesn't stand by their faulty products. Happy to take your money, they don't care after that....

Even one star is too many for this scam…

Even one star is too many for this scam company. We bought a set of cartridges for our printer and they don't work. They asked us to run cleaning as the issue was supposed to be with our printer. We cleaned the nozzles and it didn't help. We asked for a refund, they refused (even though on their website is clear they do refunds within 31 days). Since then we bought original cartridges from Warehouse Stationery and they work perfectly. I suggest you don't do any business with this company to avoid disappointment.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. They sold me the cartridges that don’t work on my Brother printer. Then advised me to clean the nozzle which I did. Again, they don’t work. Original Brother cartridges work fine. When I requested a refund, they are refusing to do so. Stay away from this seller. Sees like a scam.

Lousy quality service and product

They supplied a HP toner that my printer rejected.
They demanded I pay to return it to them to "fix".
They stated the printer had upgraded and that is why the chip in the cartridge wouldn't work.
As I urgently needed a toner, I bought one from TonerWorld. It worked perfectly in my printer.
Despite the Fair Trading Act saying that Inktoner.co.nz have to refund my payment, they refuse to.

VERY clear why over 80% of reviews are 1Star and have the exact same complaints (Rude, Aggressive and unhelpful female staff member, argumentative, does not listen and then turns on the customer and hangs up!)
The faulty product, which we would now rather throw away and never purchase again - than deal with such disgusting service!
Would love to know who owns this company, and if they even care?!

Make sure you read ALL of the one star reviews! Theres very good reasons why!!

These people don’t listen, speak over you and have no problems swearing at you over the phone when you question or comply with their “bring your printer to us and we’ll make it work” demands then flipping it and saying you said “F*^k TO ME”

When you ask to speak to a manager you get “I AM THE MANAGER” and your calls get hung up

Well done TONERINK, make sure you vet your staff

Warning, this customer service hangs up on you !!

Warning! Do not deal with this company, if you want to buy HP compatible cartridges!!
I just bought replacement ink for my HP8710 printer, $120 the lot.
I am aware that it’s not straight forward to get around the problem to avoid genuine cartridges, I have done this before. However, this time, no luck, to the extent that my printer sits now on a cartridge fault message, and I can’t do anything but buy genuine cartridges, or a new printer.
As I rang up this lady at the support Center (apparently the Manager with an Asian accent), trying to explain my problem and asking for advice, she went straight into offensive, insisting that it has nothing to do with the cartridges, it’s a printhead problem.
As I was trying to read the error message she interrupted me on several occasions, and as I got impatient, she hung up on me. I rang again to ask for her name, but she hung up on me again.
The message goes; „there is a problem with the supply system. Try replacing the affected cartridge with a different, non empty cartridge. If this message appears again, contact HP.
Sorry, I can’t see a print head problem here.
ZERO stars for this company, If I could.
This complaint goes to TonerInk, the order number is 471228, and I kindly ask for a refund. But from this experience, I will be pushing my luck.
P.S.
I just got a response from Tonerink.co.nz, telling me that they have reported me to the Human Rights Commission.

Faulty cartridge

I was recently sold a faulty cartridge, and when contacting the company about the issue they were very dismissive and rude, and even after providing evidence they are still unwilling to help. Would not recommend this company at all - would give 0 stars if possible.

Should have looked for reviews first

Should have looked for reviews first, slow to send product and now toner is faulty and even though I have receipt of purchase, only received product 2 days ago and do as they have suggested to remedy problem I am out of pocket as they will no longer correspond.
Pay just a little more for a better product, which is what i have now done.

Rude and Aggressive

I purchased some ink cartridges and they were the wrong ones for my printer. I thought that it must have been my fault but from the other reviews below it sounds like they shipped the incorrect cartridges. I went to their office to do an exchange and the interaction with the lady was unbelievably rude and aggressive. Totally ignored me and then snapped asking what I wanted as they had orders to fulfil. What a hideous person and experience. Avoid them and just use another supplier.

Worst experience I’ve had

Worst experience I’ve had, walked in said hi, the lady ignored me, I needed help understanding ink for my printer and she was angry explaining it and started yelling and told me to leave and slammed the door on me

Please do not go there, support a business who cares and save yourself the distress

I received exactly what I had ordered, with an itemised invoice, and some free photo paper thrown in as a gift. I can see other people's reviews, but my experience was very different. Based on my experiences, I would recommend them heartily. Inexpensive cartridges that work and a quick delivery over the new year holidays- thank you for great service!

Rude and abusive.

shocking customer treatment, faulty cartridge but no way to get them to accept it. Buyer beware!
The person ended up sending an email in capital letters, very shouty. All in all an unpleasant, unethical firm.
