I made the mistake of not reading these reviews before booking a taxi for a friend's wedding. Waiting to be picked up with no way of contacting them, after paying 50% of the fare for both the journey there and back, I finally saw the reviews and can confirm it's a total scam. I don't believe any of the positive reviews here and am not holding out much hope of having my money refunded.

Paid 50 percent deposit. No taxi arrived. No communication after numerous emails. No refund received. Terrible time. I would not use them again .

Scammers!!! As a lot of people which have written here,i paid 50%,20 euros twice for two airport transfers(from Venice Marco Polo airport to Mogliano Veneto,and from Mogliano Veneto to Treviso airport). First they confirmed me and take my money,then cancelled and wrote that i will have my money back for 5-9 buissines days,but till today(more than 18days) i dont have my money back and they font answer to mails.

Its' SCAM. Not only lost money for the fake taxi, but also missed our flight. Be careful before booking any services of travelcab!!!!!

Watch out…. Travelcab is a complete scam, in Florence at least. Strongly suggest avoiding them.!

Scam, booking process seems easy, I even left a 10% tip on both my collection and return bookings, now I am out of pocket by £80, and have not had any service or further contact. There is a reason why this company can assist you affordably when no one else can, they are a scam and have fake reviews on their website to make you think they are legit but nothing else on the website and no way to contact them. Worth blocking your card if you have booked through them.

I paid 33 euro advance but nobody contacted me. I emailed them countless times for refund but they're no responding. Pathetic services!

Please do not trust them. They are thieves. It is a fake site.

Reserved a cab and paid 50%, I was emailed I’d be contacted with the drivers information shortly.

After 2 hours of not receiving an email with the driver’s information, I emailed requesting the info. I arrived at the pickup location and there was no taxi driver with my reservation information. I used a taxi driver that was at that location. I emailed requesting my money back and have yet to receive a reply from the company.

This is a scam!!! They ask for 50% deposit and you never hear from them again.

They scammed me 100 euro deposit cancellation of the ride never got money back do not pay or book them

Fake company which only sends a fake confirmation after you have paid a deposit. To avoid at all costs!

This ‘company’ / website is a scam, do not book! They’ll ask for 50% of payment as deposit - no taxi will show up and you cannot contact them.

Booked a trip and paid 50%, received a confirmation email and nothing further more. I tried emailing them three times again with no response. Needless to say that the cab didn't front up this morning either. Their reviews on Travel.cab must be fake.
DO NOT USE

NEVER RECOMMEND DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR. We tried ordering taxi to a location in Italy but after we payed 50% we never got contacted and got ignored when tried emailing (there isnt even a phone number included). After countless tried of trying to contact, we find out its a scam. Never recommend!

This is not a taxi company. Be careful. They asked for 50% deposit and never heard from them after that. Do not contact them. They deceive people to take their money.

nobody turned up - had to walk one hour to the airport instead - luckily we were close enough to make that decision, but so unreliable - no driver information and took my money - scam
