This bungalow is lovely. It is well equipped and maintained to a high standard. The location and resulting view are breathtaking. The sun room allowed us to fully appreciate this. Intend to return in the future.

The whole experience was brilliant. From the initial booking, to arriving at the bungalow. Plenty of information available. The bungalow was spotless and had a real homely feel. Everything was provided by the owners, including welcoming gifts for the dogs and the humans. Had a relaxing week and hope to book again next year

Had a lovely weeks stay at Ed,s Barn.Well equiped and every thing you need is provided. Great position for Bristol and Bath sightseeing beware take the Park & Ride to both citys. Clifton Bridge not far from Ed,s Barn and well worth a visit. We would stay again.

A well equipped and comfortable cottage in a beautiful, remote location.

Comfortable place to stay, very well kitted out with everything you would need, a generous welcome pack much appreciated. We had a lovely relaxing holiday.

We arrived at this charming cottage in a lovely village location.. .
Everything you need is available and the bed was the most comfortable we have had yet staying away from home .. we had a fantastic night sleep every night. ..
Although the garden is quite small it is just enough for the dogs to enjoy and the patio area is a lovely sun trap for sitting out and relaxing. .
The owner was exceptionally helpful and told us some lovely dog walks in the local area. .
Would definitely recommend this cottage and am looking forward to booking here again when we are that way next.

We arrived the 3/5/25 to celebrate my 60th birthday and what a brilliant time we had. It was just such a beautiful clean and cosy house. The warm pool was such a hit with my grandchildren and the warm games room that we dived into to dry off after getting out of the pool in the cool wind and having a hot shower there. The games room was just brilliant with the pool table, darts and fridges etc for the bbq and drinks. We had a bbq under the pergola with the fire pit and toasted marshmallows. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable, crisp, clean beds and very good showers. The hot tub and sauna were in perfect position for when the little people were in bed at night. Sitting in there looking at the stars - I just had the best time. The hosts were brilliant and so helpful just at the end of the phone.

The most lovely stay you could wish for… Meadow View Lodge at Bassenthwaite was truly incredible! We stayed in the 2 person cottage and had breakfasts
In the guest house … the owners were amazing ( as were the breakfasts)!
Could not recommend more highly!

A really lovely cottage with all the facilities we could have wanted. Comfortable beds, very useful bathrooms and spacious living rooms. The garden was small but enough space with shade/sunny areas.
The cottage is very central for birding and easy to get to restaurants. Will definitely book it again

I would just like to take the time to thank them for the great service they give to me, especially Laura and Aiden, my day to day contacts. It’s not often you see reviews from owners but I think they deserve a little of my time to put pen to paper.

Bank Barn on Yew Tree Farm was set in a wonderful location over looking the fells, the accommodation had everything we needed for a comfortable stay & the owners left us alone but were always on hand if we had any queries & were very welcoming on our arrival. I’d happily return for another stay.

The property was in a very dirty state and in need of some maintenance and re-decorating. The stairs from ground to first floor were dangerous, the treads leaning outwards and the carpet grippers exposed, the oven had to be cleaned before we could use it, two excellent cleaners were sent in to do this, needing a scraper to remove the grease, all the kitchen cupboards were full, leaving no space for our food, a lot of the items just seemed to be junk, not required, all surrounded by dirt and food crumbs, the pans stored under the prep table were thick with cooking fat, we had to wash anything we needed to use prior to use.This makes me doubt the authenticity of the reviews prior to our stay and certainly showed that the photos on your site are years out of date. The location was good but, the walk to the beach by the footpath is 20 mins. and not possible with a pushchair, using the roads to walk to the beach is tricky with a lack of pavements on the tight lanes.

The booking process & updating news leading up t the holiday was great. The Old Cheyney Cheyney Estate was a fabulous place to stay. Clean, Tidy, Spacious, Quiet, Beautiful location, it had it all.

I’ve had a very positive experience with Travel Chapter from initial phone calls before I had even purchased our holiday home right through to getting the property marketed and bookings coming in. Every member of the team I have dealt with has been personable, efficient and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Travel Chapter to market and manage a holiday let.

Having stayed at Kingsfell for around 30 years we have noticed many changes to the property. The most noticeable one has been the slow 'Gentrification' of it as it has become less of a comfortable family home and more of a standard holiday let, which is a shame.
This year the drying room (essential in Keswick) was unusable as part of the dresser had been placed in it (this also meant that access to some equipment was also not possible).
Once again the heating was not working properly (a couple of years ago it just went off and we lacked heating or hot water).
Also one of the sockets in the kitchen didn't work (an electrical problem?).
These issues were reported but, following a visit we were they told that we should not have been using one of the rooms as a bedroom even though it had been made for us and we were not told of the downgrade when we booked.
This property needs a bit of TLC, not plastic flowers and a large stag picture.
Its sad but in 2026 we will be looking elsewhere.

The company are very professional and their estimates of how many bookings I would get proved to be very accurate.
