Holiday Home Owners Beware!
Travel Chapter provide a terrible service and charge huge fees to mismanage your holiday home.
I have had guests without gas central heating and hot water in the midst of winter becuase of bad management.
Whats more when I withdrew my property from the management service I was hit with a £500 early withdrawel fee as a final insult.
I now have a local lady manage my property and market myself on Airbnb.

Little Gem in Porthallow
Wonderful bungalow is a lovely position. Only minor irritation is that the information states arrival after 17:00 whereas the cottacge notes state after 15:00. Shame the pub opposite is closed.

Good range of properties, but could be improved.
A wide range of properties all over the country. Good information about each property, but it could still be better. Exact information to confirm gardens are safe and enclosed, also exact information about off road parking. Also either exact information about layout, or better still, floor plans. Encourage property owners to totally stay for a week in their property, would help to ensure everything was comfortable, well equipped and in working order. We have only ever found one perfect property and that turned out to be where the owners lived when in the UK.

Perfect base for a dog friendly holiday
The cottage was clean and comfortable, very well equipped. There was a lovely enclosed garden for our dog Peggy who loved sniffing round all the nooks and crannies, a distant sea view from the side of the garden. Lots of nice walks on the doorstep. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would definitely rebook if we visited this area again, the perfect base for a dog friendly holiday.

Avoid Travel Chapter
I applied for a job with this shower. I was encouraged to get an automated email back promising that I would be informed of the progress of the application within a week. We are now nearly 3 weeks later and, in spite of several follow up emails, no communication! I have tried to call them but no-one answers. It would have been better not to have received the email promising a response! I hope this review may ilicit some form of communication??

Had a wonderful holiday. Lovely cottage. The beds were comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful for the welcome package of local products to start our holiday off.Only downside was limited parking spaces.

Property owner satisfaction
We have advertised our holiday home, Horne's Place Oast & Barn, through Travel Chapter for years and have been very happy with the service provided. The owner portal is easy to use and the customer-facing websites are too. Having a dedicated account manager who knows our property and takes the time to give individualised advice on how to maximise bookings is great – thanks Joice.

Wonderful view of Brixham .Only…
Breakwater at Heath Court has a wonderful view of Brixham .Only downside was that the Ground floor Bedroom En -Suite though immaculately clean, as was everywhere else that mattered eg Kitchen and main Bathroom ,had no means of heating and we were there in March and it was Cold. There was a Wall mounted Fan Heater but it did not work.
Do not let this stop you Booking during the warmer months you will not be disappointed !

The Cider Press (Yew Tree Cottage) Sway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yew Tree Cottage (The Cider Press), which was definitely enhanced by all the great commination and information from the owners. The welcome goodies too were a great bonus and very enjoyable. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, plus you could see the linen and bathroom towels were very good quality, making our stay seem more like being in a posh hotel, which was lovely. The location of this cottage too was perfect for walks in the New Forest as it was literally at the end of the road. We will definitely look at staying in this property again in the future.

Don't arrive in the dark!
We had a horrid journey and arrived after dark, which didn't help. It's not a great road to stop on in the dark as the cars whizz down the hill past you. We had expected that we would be able to unpack our vehicle from the parking space - but there wasn't space for that and the parking space is not next to the cottage entrance. We have stayed in cottages where they have advised that the parking space is tight and had more space to park than this!
The steps down from the road are absolutely treacherous in the dark too, no lighting.
So, I don't think the cottage description is as helpful as it could have been and the experience has really put me off using this letting agent again.

Very clean , loaded kitchen with all utensils even thought of bags of ice cubes amazing view's
hot tub was fabulous and we even met the 2 properties owners dogs..
Only 2 things I would change
1 major - sofas aren’t comfortable at all
& 1 minor for when walking round with no clothes on,a curtain would help on front door. But amazing stay and we will be back for sure
