I messaged Travelpedia via Meta (Facebook) and Kirk patiently dealt with my questions and found me a 4* hotel in Bucharest with breakfast, return flights and trip to multiple locations - including Dracula's castle - for £289 each. The flights are at good times, too, making the most of travel days. He has a lovely conversation style and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. I would seek him out to book further trips without hesitation.

Thailand experience booking

Perfection
I have been doing a lot of research for our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia.

Japan Trip 2026
We booked our Japan trip through Bruce at Travelpedia UK and overall had a good experience. Bruce was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating throughout the planning process, which made it easier for us to ask questions, make last-minute changes, and feel supported before the trip. While there were a few areas that could be improved, we really appreciated the effort that went into organizing the itinerary and helping us experience several parts of Japan for a decent price.
The hotels chosen were generally in very convenient locations, usually close to key public transport links and convenience stores such as 7-Eleven, which made travelling around Japan much easier. It was also helpful that the rail pass was arranged for us, and we appreciated being offered free day tours as part of the package.
The highlight hotel was definitely our Miyajima hotel. It was excellent — spacious, clean, modern, and very close to the ferry terminal. The hotel had great amenities, including a rooftop sauna, and the front desk staff spoke enough English for communication. Overall, it was the most impressive hotel of the trip and a lovely place to stay.
Our Osaka hotel was small but suitable for our needs, especially as we were able to open the window for airflow. It was also in a good location very close to a train station, which made getting around convenient.
The Kyoto hotel looked a little old and used, which was a bit disappointing at first, but it was clean and offered other advantages. We loved having breakfast there and appreciated the cheerful and welcoming staff. Breakfast also lasted until 11 AM, which was a great help on late mornings! The location of the hotel was also convenient for taking buses towards the Kiyomizudera area, and when the window was fully open, the room offered a great view.
The Tokyo hotel was in a convenient location near a station and 7-Eleven, which was helpful. However, the room was very small, and there was no clear separation between the shoe area and the rest of the room like in the other hotels. The initial room we were provided was also a smoking room, which we did not like, but thankfully, the hotel staff allowed us to change rooms. The room we moved into was better, although still small. As a hotel policy, the window could not be opened, so airflow felt limited, but the air conditioning helped greatly.
All hotels included breakfast, and the Miyajima hotel even offered dinner, which was a nice benefit. The only downside for us was that there was no halal menu option.
For future trips, it may be helpful to advise travellers to stay at least two or even three nights in each location, especially places like Miyajima Island, where we only stayed one night, as travelling there can take quite a bit of time and one night isn't enough to fully experience the island! On the bright side, the hotel does allow customers to leave luggage with them after checkout. One thing that surprised us a little about the trip was that we needed to pay a small accomodation tax in each of the hotel we went to which we weren't fully aware of.
Written instructions on where exactly to go to activate the rail pass would also be useful, along with suggestions for reliable eSIM options. We tried Airalo but had issues, and in the end it was easier for us to buy an eSIM at the airport. It would also be helpful to proofread written documents carefully, as we noticed some typos.
Another suggestion would be to offer half-day tours where possible, as some full-day tours starting at 8 AM were difficult for us to attend when the meeting point was far from our hotel. A list of recommended places to visit in each city would also be a great addition.
Overall, although there is space for improvement, we did appreciate Bruce’s support, responsiveness, and friendly approach. The trip had many memorable moments for us, and the itinerary (transport, hotels, flights) prepared for us helped us visit several wonderful places in Japan. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime!

I have used Travelpedia for numerous trips, this time was Marrakesh with my 3 daughters and granddaughters. The hotel was one of the best I’ve seen, and breakfast was great, filling the kids up before rack days excursions.
The trips Joe put together were great, transport was always where and when it was said to be.
If I had any questions, even the smallest thing and messaged Joe he would immediately answer me.
From Quad bike and camel riding in the desert to a hot airballon sunrise, hike through the Atlas Mountains, lunch sat by a river the days were filled with fun and laughter.
I wouldn’t trust any other agency now.
Kenya, Croatia, kracow, Srilanka and the maldeaves with travelpedia, i could write a book on how amazing they have been and always at a very reasonable price.
