Good product, company is a bit shady

The product is well built and appears to be helping me with my essential tremor. However I believe they are using deceptive business practices with the required trial subscription to "Dr. Evans' Hands for Life Academy". The product was bought as a Christmas present for me and my son, and the 7 day trial period was long gone by the time we received the presents. My wife, who bought them had no idea that there was an automatic commitment to a 39.98 fee unless cancelled during the 7 day trial period.

Dishonest, nearly impossible to contact, poor communication, poor service.

I received the tangible products I ordered. I also got an unsolicited $39.99 monthly subscription to an "online educational product." That was a sneaky ad-on. I called and emailed over 20 (twenty) times to request an RMA for the Torqueball and other products and got NO response until I sent an email that said "Cease and Desist". That got me an immediate response, still no RMA, but there was only one $39.99 charge after that date. NOTE: Read carefully (better print) all their Terms and Conditions, Return Policy, everything before you make a purchase. You will see the inconsistencies like 30-day returns and 90-day returns. You will see they say they are not responsible for accuracy, completeness or timeliness of product, warranty, or other website information. Also, IF they accept a return, you will pay for shipping and insurance and a stocking fee. On the 14th page of the T&Cs, they said they are still recovering from the challenges of COVID-19, so please be patient if delivery is slow. READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU BUY. It is clearly evident that they believe they are responsible for nothing because they hold all the cards by the T&Cs contract. That doesn't sound like customer service or support for their products. Also on these reviews, you will see other customers commenting that they were asked for reviews before receiving the product or offered Priority Shipping if they gave a review at the time of the order. It's been six months and I'm still trying to get help from Citicard.

Don't waste your money - do not believe the guarantee

Absolutely NO communications from their customer service even though they stated a "60-day satisfaction, money-back guarantee". I purchased a "couples care package" which included a "3-year warranty" on 4/6 via Paypal - it took almost 2 weeks to get the delivery of the products. When we attempted to use the device, it would "wind" up then just whirr for less than a second, and nothing more. Tried for over a week and finally sent an email to the "customer service". Never heard anything back - since then I have sent several emails and have not yet gotten any response. so much for 60-day guarantee, and the fake "3-year warranty". I guess I'm out $150 for a silly whirring metal ball.

90 day guarantee is a joke

I emailed as soon as I received my order telling them that they didn't work as described and asked for the return label to be sent as per their refund policy. They pretended they weren't Torqueball.com and told me to email them direct. This email was the only contact I had so I sent another email and have heard nothing back. I took it up with Paypal but because they offered a full return if I sent them back at my own cost Paypal don't do anything else. It would cost me all my refund to send them back from Australia so I'm stuck with this junk and they took my money and ran. DON'T GET SUCKED IN AND PURCHASE FROM THESE THIEVES. Who is James Cole anyway????

Over charged under delivered

They charged me for two, only delivered one, then charged my card for a third ball. I have tried to contact them numerous times to get it straightened out, and have received no response from them at all. The product seems to be as advertised, but paying $135+ for one is a total rip off. If you want to buy one use a third party vendor, do not purchase directly from them. Absolutely abysmal customer service.

Be aware - this is also a monthly subscription

I'm sorry to say that when purchasing 2-torque balls I did not realize that I was subscribing for a monthly subscription with Dr. Evans. After catching the monthly charge I contacted Torque Ball immediately and asked for a refund of the 'subscription' charges. My request was denied even though they could see that I had not once logged into the 'subscription' site. As a business person myself cannot in good faith recommend Torque Ball as customer service is as important as the product and I don't feel that I received a fair response to my request.

I have been trying to return my torque…

I have been trying to return my torque balls to the company. They keep saying they’re gonna get back to me in a couple of days and they haven’t. I have written numerous emails and eventually they responded but they never sent me a shipping label to return them. They also started charging me a monthly bill, which I did not certify or agreed to and now they don’t want to refund me the money I would not recommend them at all.

Scam product

Scam product. Save your money for a fitness product that's legit. If I could give this product 0 stars I would because it simply does not work other than as a paperweight. Not sure where any ratings over 1 are coming from on this product but I would bet those are illegitimate reviews too.

Additional charges to credit card

I received the torqueballs and paid in full, but the company has been charging my credit card monthly since my purchase!!! I have sent them an email and they have promised to reply in 24 hours. We will see.

BEWARE!! The subscription service of over $50 per month is non-refundable if you don't opt out.

BEWARE!!! The subscription service cost me over $200 above the purchase of the Torqueball!! I did not notice the charges and cannot get my mondy back.

When you order a Torqueball, you have to opt out of the subscription program or you will be charged c. $56 monthly on your credit card.

In my opinion, the subscription should be worded as an add-on and not be automatic with the option to opt out.

The wording of what a subscription entails should be more clear. Because I had no idea of how support for a ball could be a subscription service, I thought the subscription option was a payment arrangement. I did not pay much attention to the subscription as I thought it was non-applicable to me.

When I ordered Torqueball, I did not understand the subscription option and so did not opt out. In my head, a subscription meant a payment plan for the torqueball. I did not realize that a subscription payment was for some sort of support post-purchase.

Because I had not opted out of the subscription program, I was then charged c. $56 per month in addition to the original purpose. I did not notice the charges so now I have paid over $300 to torqueball.com for the ball plus the monthly payments.

The subscription charges are non-refundable. To their credit, Torqueball did respond quickly when I noticed the additional charges and told me how to cancel any future charges.

So sad, as the torqueball is useless for us as it is too large for my husband's arthritic hand to hold. It is also difficult to start - my son was able to figure it out but we could not.

Buyer beware- this is a scam company

Buyer beware- this is a scam company. Don’t give them your credit card information.
The cost of $94.94 is ridiculous for what you get and they are difficult to figure out how to use. My requests for refund have gone unanswered and I have additionally been charged $39.99 a month for who knows what for three months now BESIDES the initial $94.94.

Betrügerische irreführende Abzokee

Ich habe im 15.Februar 2026 einen Torquelball bestellt.
Am 2.April habe ich eine Stornierung eingereicht (lt.Angebot prompt lieferbar)weil der Artikel noch nicht geliefert war.Die Storno wurde nicht angenommen weil der Artikel unterwegs war.Der Torquelball wurde am 12 April geliefert,entspricht überhaut nicht den Vorstellungen und wünschen.
Die Firma hat im Angebot schriftlich mitgeteilt bei einer Rücknahme unbedingt mit ihnen kontakt aufzunehmen.
Habe die Firma 3 mal schriftlich gebeten mir ein Rücksendung zu ermöglichen, das ich den Artikel zurücksckicken werde und sie den bezahlten Betrag von 82,94€ auf mein Konto zurück zu überweisen.
Leider hat die Firma seit 17.April 2026 nicht mehr geantwortet,obwohl sie jedesmal schriftlich mitgeteilt hat,das ich innerhalb von 2 Tagen eine Rückmeldung bekommen werde.
Das ist eine betrügerische und irreführende abzoke.

Unresponsive company

I emailed company within a couple of days of receiving ball for help. AI response. I contacted a week later. No response. We went to see grandchildren and I contacted upon return. AI response. I called the 302 number several times, never answered. I have been asking for return slip for weeks now. No response. My ball does not look like the one in the demo video. No one in the family can make it work. Keep your money.
