Bad experience with customer service. Not helpful at all. If you get something broken it will take weeks to replace and no compensation for your time and horrible experience. Very disappointing

Zeer slechte ervaring!! Dit bedrijf ken totaal geen service en kunnen geen afspraken nakomen kost heel wat voeten in aarde allemaal en dan nog niet te spreken over hoe ze omgaan als je ze ergens op wijst als je belt word er niet opgenomen en op de chat word gelijk gereageerd en als het ze niet aanstaat word je geblokkeerd en krijgje geen reactie meer hele rare manier van werken en communiceren heeft deze firma als je extra wil bestellen moet dat eerst over 5schijven voor je een keer kunt betalen en dan een keer anderhalve maand later krijg je je producten als je gelukt hebt!! IK ZOU ZE ZEEER ZEKER NIET AANRADEN!! Mensen wees gewaarschuwd en denk er eens goed overna! Als de begin service als zo slecht is is de aftersales nog veel erger enige waneer ze blij zijn en je snel willen helpen is als er wat verkocht kan worden. ( ook daar niet over te spreken want het adviseren is ook redelijk ondeskundig)

i placed 3 orders with them all arrived on time very pleasant experience with a professional company the only thing was i paid for three delivery cost was quite high so asked for some money back just waiting for this to be sorted apart from that would recommend this company

Do not repond to their online chats and there delivery areas is useless . So i gave it 2 postcodes and both were out of their delivery are BUT on their website which i copied and pasted it sais

Delivery address outside the delivery area. All prices on the website are based on prices within our delivery area.If you wish to have an order shipped outside the delivery area, additional shipping costs apply on request.

So i requested how much and then i get phoned after no response for a week

"oh no we cant deliver outside of our area ........!

I was looking to purchase a veranda from This company, went through the process on line only to find they do not deliver to Somerset! I would suggest this company should establish full delivery arrangements covering the UK to avoid wasting people's time!

After shopping around we decided to purchase our glass veranda from TuinMaximaal and fit ourselves - we were so happy with the product - delivery was slightly longer than advertised but that didn’t matter as we were still meticulously getting our ground works done.
All arrived very well packaged and the instructions were used along with installation videos on the website.
We installed on the back of a flat roof extension and had to alter the guttering to get the 8 degree pitch for 3.5 m projection but all the prep worked out and installation was seamless.
We didn’t end up hiring a lift genie and instead used acrojacks and wood to protect the surface.
The glass panels were heavy 4m x3.5 and hubby and 3 friends managed to fit them in one hour ! 3 adults to fit the glass doors - it’s now complete water tight and looks amazing.
So so happy we went with this company as the quote we had received from a competitor who didn’t offer supply only was an extra £20,000!
We also purchased the draft weather strips - please note that if you want to use weather strips and handles the handles go on the other side to weather strip.

Can anyone let me know which builder did you use to get this veranda assembled if you are in the uk? For tuinmaximaal why don't you guys have a contract with some builder in the uk to install these verandas in the uk for the uk customers. I have been contemplating to buy this veranda for almost a year but can not find anyone to assemble it for a reasonable price. Pergolux now has a recommended builder for their pergolas in the uk. Something like this will surely increase your sales.

I have recently received and installed a set of glass sliding doors from Tuimaximaal. My initial enquiry by telephone was handled by Danny in Eindhoven ( I am in the UK). That first contact was such a positive experience it made up my mind that if I was going to use this type of product then it would be from Tuinmaximaal. Danny was not in his first language but oh how I wish I could get this kind of service from a UK manufacturer, so positive, perceptive and professional. I placed my order and I simply could not fault any aspect, the service, the quality, the delivery all absolutely first class! Mike the delivery driver was a total star, what a totally professional, helpful and genuinely friendly guy. I have spoken to Luna, Sophia and Jesly for various reasons and in each case our conversations have been a delight! I could not recommend this company highly enough, they are exceptional. Our Classic Veranda from Tuinmaximaal is well designed and the finished article looks very neat and clean. It has also just survived an amber wind warning for Storm Darragh, so I thought it was time for a positive review.

Be aware that a change to the order resets the 4 week delivery schedule. We ordered the additional spot foundations because we didn't know what was under our patio. It turned out that there is a substantial concrete base, so I cancelled the spot foundations about 2 weeks after ordering. The Ts&Cs say an order can be changed up to 8 days before delivery is due - there is no mention that delivery will be re-scheduled. I had people and equipment booked for shortly after the original delivery date so I was not happy about the delay. Initially, Tuinmaximaal were reluctant to help, but after a few phone calls I managed to talk to someone that was willing to make some changes. The veranda was delivered in time and went up very smoothly.

Only ordered some draft excluders for the conservatory but they arrived on time and the quality was good

several weeks ago i put a poor review of this company due to customer service of a long delay supplying parts that were incorrectly sent .however having now finished the veranda i have got to give credit to the quality and finish of the materials .it is a first class bit of kit and the price is great ,really pleased with it , T Thomas

The veranda idea was sparked by some glossy photos in a home improvement magazine but nearly discarded when quotations were received by various UK companies. A chance internet search brought us to Tuinmaximaal a Dutch company and their excellent website. They could not have been more helpful and understood what we wanted ... and spoke better English than I do! It did take 3 quotations as we amended and changed our requirements but nothing was too difficult. My slight hesitation was placing an order outside the UK was dismissed when the order was placed and a delivery arrived on time. Their delivery service was awesome , on time and everything was on site in 20 minutes of arrival! The price was very competitive and our builder was really surprised with all the build instructions including access to their website.
Wish we had found this company sooner

We bought a 4 mts veranda in anthracite grey with glass roof. What a wonderful product. Very well built. It looks fantastic, just what we were looking for. Make sure you read instructions before fitting and look at the videos on the website links they are really helpful. Myself and a friend fitted this in an afternoon. The main support beam is heavy so you will need some kind of support or lift when connecting support legs. Really well designed , easy to follow instructions and fantastic looking veranda. Thanks.

We had our 3.5 x 5m veranda and took 2 days to install. pre drilled holes would be very useful. The big issue we had was the size of PVC waste pipe. The bend is for 75mm pipe and we cannot find an adopter for the bend to reduce it to std 68mm down pipe in the UK.

No one was in touch with me - not sure who you contacted.

My second experience with Tuinmaximaal United Kingdom

I placed an order with Tuinmaximaal for 2 verandas on June 18, the website suggests that the delivery time from order is 4 or 5 weeks. When I had placed the order I realised I needed some changes made, which I did on the next day, a day later they called me to say that the changes I had made required some additional things and could they be added, so I agreed. Thereafter I didn’t hear from them for 2 weeks, so I then contacted them and asked when was my delivery going to come as I was expecting a confirmation from the company on delivery dates. A day later they got back to me to tell me that my order would have to be cancelled as it wasn’t going to be delivered and that I would have to get a refund and re-order, I asked what was the lead time and they said it was possibly 2 weeks for the refund to process and 4 weeks for delivery but that they would pay the delivery costs as a compensation. I couldn’t pay the same amount twice , almost £12000 so i had to wait the refund, which fortunately was about 5 days. I then re-ordered and was promised a delivery date, this was 7th or 8th august and that the driver would contact me 30 mins before the delivery. Nothing happened on the 7th so it would be the 8th.

Driver knocked on the door at 8am, and no call beforehand, lucky I was in. He seemed very polite and had my delivery, asked where I wanted it, so we discussed possibilities and he said he could move some of my paving slabs out the way to accommodate the delivery. Then his forklift fell into my drain smashing the cover. It took 4 hours for a recovery vehicle to lift the forklift out of the hole. Driver said that the costs of repairs would be covered by the company – as far as is today i have heard nothing. Two day's later, when I finally had the time to open the verandas and prepare then for assembly and attachment I discovered that the box with the fixings were missing. You can only discover this if you have begun to assemble the product, there’s no item list and everything is rolled on top of everything so you do need to begin the assembly.

So I discovered this on saturday and contacted them via phone and also via whatsapp. I had enough delays and this is now getting annoying. They said that they will try their best to get the bits to me but they couldn’t do anything until monday. Monday morning they called me and I told them what I had and said I don’t know what I am missing since it is missing, and that they should know. They then said they would get back to me with a delivery date.

They called yesterday when I wasn’t able to pickup the phone and so they left a message detailing that the box of Gumax lights that I had received and other things are now out of date and they will have to send me something else, entirely new. Please could I contact them for a delivery date. So today I have contacted them for a delivery date for the missing items. My question here is what is compensation for this? I am out of time to create the veranda. A patio that I am trying to install requires the veranda to be in place beforehand, so we have a dugout garden since early july that is covered in plastic and lots of bits of veranda scattered around my garden and trestles and all sorts. 18th June and now it is 12 August and I still do not have my complete delivery.

I only wish I could give you zero stars.

After lots of research about verandas we decided to go for Tuinmaximaal, the price was within our budget, we knew we’d had to build it ourselves. No issues with the communication I had a few emails back and forth until I made the order, the replay was quick. Delivery great, can’t fault it expect exactly the times stated on the website in my case it took 3 weeks.Now the building process it’s not that easy as it seems, luckily my husband is quite the handyman and read the instructions very carefully before starting, as everything needs to be exactly in the right place for everything to fit, the front beam is extremely heavy so you will need a hoist (we hired one)to lift it up and keep it there until you build the sides, also the roof glass again very heavy and it’s needed at least 2 people to put them up and need to be very careful. So if you do not like building things or a challenge this is not for you, lol. Overall we are extremely happy with the finished result and it looks amazing. I would highly recommend Tuinmaximaal!!

After a lot of research etc to find a suitable veranda we settled on this one. Description and pictures showed the modern look we were after and the stated exceptional build quality made up our minds. Had delivery in February. Decided to replaced the deck underneath first, our typical weather and other issues meant we’ve only just finished building it.
Expected a fairly straightforward build from such a foremost company but how wrong were we! “Instructions’ were quite minimal, videos were in Dutch, none of the parts really fit together and need a heavy duty lift for the main beam which couldn’t get through to the rear of our property. Took a fair bit of ingenuity for the “instructions etc and some “guesswork” for the joints to get it built. Why some fittings & joints aren’t pre drilled and supports aren’t angled is a mystery and would aid building massively.
Wouldn’t have bought if I’d have known prior, wouldn’t recommend on this issue. However pleased with the finished product.

Excellent quality and service from the moment I started to enquire and help I received,right through to delivery, can't fault this great company from Holland great veranda sun room superb definitely recommend them.

I can highly recommend this company. If your thinking about it, don't hesitate, buy your veranda/canopy from tuinmaximaal.
Their service is 1st class and the transport company they use was impeccable.
I installed my 5m x 4m veranda myself. The instructions were easy to follow whilst being very thorough, nothing was missed out.
The quality of the materials are A class.
Totally impressed with every aspect of company and it's product.
I will be using them again when I continue with the 2nd phase of our garden project.
