Wildly dishonest delivery times

I would recommend that you not order from this site.

I needed a product urgently so I ordered it from Ubuy. The product was significantly more expensive than on Amazon, but Ubuy's estimated delivery time with Express shipping was about a week which was less than Amazon's so I ordered it from them. Today is when the product should have arrived and DHL estimates it will take another week before any customs delays.

Just to be, this wasn't because of a delay at customs. The product left the office on the day it was supposed to arrive - the delay is entirely on Ubuy's side.

There's nothing wrong with a product taking a long time to deliver as long as that's advertised honestly so you can make an informed decision between providers. The problem is Ubuy knew my location, how long it typically takes to ship items and how long DHL typically takes to deliver. They just lied to get me to buy from them. I've never ordered from an e-commerce site whose actual delivery times are double what they estimate so I believed them.

Incorrect product delivered!!!!

13 February 2026 - I ordered an ice-cream machine and paid a hefty sum, today a tool wrench kit was delivered???? How is this possible???

And no one bothered to reach out from ubuy. We have not had any conclusion or real feedback regarding this issue. We ordered a R5800 item, a R575 item was delivered. Customs and delivery was almost R5000 aswell. And NO ONE even acknowledge the issue.

24 February 2026 - ubuy is not assisting us….sending e-mails every 3rd day, not answering questions. Still waiting on when the correct item we ordered will be delivered, have not picked-up the incorrect delivery as their paperwork is incorrect.

Do not buy from them, there is NO customer support /care….

3 March

And we are still waiting for ubuy to update their paperwork, collect the wrong item and deliver the correct item.

Ubuy when will this be resolved?

Ubuy your customer support needs to get a overhaul as it is extremely frustrating to deal with them. Also the packaging facility where the products get shipped from.

U Buy responded back to say they will…

U Buy responded back to say they will refund my money they took out of my account unauthorized on the 4th of February after i purchased a part from them. The part was paid for. 3 days later they then took $200 out of my account. I am still waiting to be refunded for the $200. They said the refund will take up to 10 days. Its passed 10 days!!! I want my money back!!!!!!
