We recently used Universal Removals for a second international move, this one even further from S Africa to the USA. Excellent service and assistance, first class help with all the requisite US documentation, and particularly friendly and efficient service throughout. Recommend them very highly.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Universal Removals to take care of everything during a relocation. Having recently arranged for them to move a consignment from Barcelona to Copenhagen I can report that the crew who managed the packing up and removal of furniture turned up exactly when they said they would and they were professional, efficient and polite and a bonus is that the same crew have been assigned to attend to the delivery and unpacking in Denmark. The whole exsperience was slick, quick, on time/arrived at destination before time.
All the crew involved (all from Poland)were great guys, well mannered,Worked hard and got on with it.
4 transit vans were used for my relocation from France to southern Spain. Not a single item was missing, damaged or broken...

Fast & Efficient.. recommended

This removal has been a total disaster. It started well as the men who collected our belongings were helpful and appeared quick and efficient. It was not until we came to unpack that we found that quick meant the boxes were not packed properly with many items left loose to rattle about and resulted in damage. Matters were then compounded by poor loading. Most of our boxes had suffered severe knocks and bashes and clearly our load had collapsed in the container or vehicle, slid around bashing into each other and things were broken, bent, scratched and dented. When I reported this the only response from Universal was to refer me to the insurers, not even an apology or expression of regret. From the point of submitting the insurance claim (which under the circumstances nowhere near covers the damage) I have been subjected to very slow responses and have had to submit 45 photographs to demonstrate the damage. They have refused to pay for certain things, e.g. they will not pay for a computer which no longer works on the grounds it shows no external damage. That was because it was packed in its original polystyrene protection and original box. This would not have prevented internal damage from the collisions in the container/vehicle. The tumble dryer was bent such that the drum seized and had to be replaced. A printer no longer worked and I had to buy a new one.
Altogether a totally incompetent performance.

I have no hesitation in recommending Nigel and his team for the excellent and friendly service we received organising the move of my mother-in-laws personal effects from Bayeux France to UK and for a reasonable price. . She was amazed how quick and efficiently the men packed the belongings and was very grateful making the experience easy and stress free. Thank you too for the timely delivery and the care taken.

UK > Croatia. Great service, Nigel was very helpful and the driver was polite and packed the truck carefully. Received a txt from the driver when he'd arrived in Croatia and that everything had been unloaded.

I received an excellent service from Universal Removals at quite short notice. Another company added a significant charge to my already pre-booked removal and after contacting Nigel (in a panic), my full removal from Barcelona to Bristol, UK was completed within a week! Communication was perfect, from the team who packed and loaded my goods through to delivery at my destination. Everything was securely packed and arrived in perfect condition, almost before I managed to get back from Barcelona myself!

I am thrilled at the excellent and professional, friendly service received from Nigel and his team. Moving personal belongings and furniture to Australia has been made easy and stress free. They arranged my packing up at home, the storage of my things until the granting of my visa, the shipping thereof as well as the final 6 hour move from Brisbane to a farm in the outback. They were very accommodating with last minute changes and nothing was too much to ask. Would recommend this company to anyone and everyone embarking on a new venture.
