Vanessa has been great and did everything to help me!

We use UpdraftPlus for backup of Neomesteren.dk to a Synology NAS drive.
The setup was complicated, as we are not network specialist. Most of the support was done on the NAS.
Vanessa from UpdraftPlus has been very patient with us and have responded with a smile to all our request for support. This works perfectly now. Thanks a lot

We started using UpDraft after consistency issues with a previous backup service/plugin. Transitioning sites upwards from PHP7.4 made this even more complex. Updraft has been extremely reliable and simple to set up. On the rare times that support has been required it has been very prompt and questions are always resolved. 100% from me.

By far, the best plugin I have used. This is typically the first plugin I even install on a new site.
I have done multiple recoveries, migrations etc countless number of times with updraft.
For backups, I used to create incremental images of my disk on azure. But I don't do that anymore because its much cheaper to just backup the complete environment through this plugin ( I have automated all backups to be sent to Azure blob)
A couple of times when I did get stuck somewhere, reached out to support who have always been prompt

I love Updraft! I am using it for multiple websites and I couldn't be happier. For me, it's by far the best Backup plugin on the market. If you want to secure your data, you should give it a try. Just make sure you're doing your backups :)

What I also want to mention is that the support is phenomenal! These guys absolutely know what they are doing and are always able to help you out.

I have a very large site since I registered my domain back in 2005 and I really need to know that my data is secure. Among other things, because I've spent 20 years doing genealogy research.

I have a subdomain that I very regularly update with new data from the main domain.

I have been using UpdraftPlus for many years and usually the migration runs smoothly. But suddenly it didn't work and there was no way I could figure out the problem myself.

I created a support ticket and I have received the most amazing help I have ever had. They simply didn't give up until I reached the finish line. I have received many fine, patient and detailed explanations, so I now have a much better understanding of how the software actually works.

It's hard to believe that you can get so much for so little money. I highly recommend UpdraftPlus.

I love this widget and the PRO. I am an accountant, so for me building my website was a task to learn, and figuring out how to navigate cPanel was not an option to spend my time on. So I came across UpdraftPlus and I love it. I can save my website, as many times as I want. And the best part, I can restore it effortlessly.

The migrator add-on came in real handy when we needed to migrate files, and their support seems to be better these days. They quickly answered queries.

Company decision to no longer support Wordpress sites. After migration to third party, Updraft subscription was cancelled but Duplicator was not.
Interaction with support was quick and responsive to have Duplicator yearly subscription refunded and cancelled.

Restoring back-ups do not work. This morning, I was hopeful to recover the previous version of my Wordpress site and the restore failed midway giving me code instructions I do not understand. It does not meet its purpose which is to provide a hassle-free restore solution. The WORST thing is you will never know this until you actually have to restore a version since the back-ups will be done "supposedly" correctly.

Support is rubbish, been waiting all day for blith emails saying please update your version, when the version installed is already the latest version.

This is probably the worst backup software I have experienced in the 40 years I have used computers!

Every time it creates a backup it says "Everything is fine!"
But when I tried to do a restore, I discovered that NONE of the Wordpress database tables had been backed up!!!
It's one of the most shocking PC experiences I have had!

I have absolutely no idea how this product got so much kudos in the Wordpress world but I can tell you as a user of both the free and premium paid versions the software is badly flawed. Nine times out of ten it will install flawlessly and appear to complete backups without problems but an issue with it caused me to investigate the backup files it created in detail. That's when I started doing server tests doing repeated manual backups of the same server to Google Drive using exactly the same settings over a 24 hour period. The number of files and the amount of data backed up varied by over 2GB across all the tests. The data on the server was locked down and hadn't changed but the number and quantity of data being backed up each time was varying drastically. The backups should have been identical. Each backup appeared to have worked and the log files showed no issues. The backups are flawed and most people think they are safe UNTIL they run a restore and find the restore process fails with missing files. This product is trash disguised as a jewel in a crown and I seriously regret purchasing it. Just because there are zillions of happy users means squat all. These users probably haven't got a clue that they are sitting on a time bomb. They will complain when they find they can't restore their data.
And finally let's talk about support..... it's zero!!! There is no one to talk to in real time and what web support exists is pitiful. I think that sums it all up basically. Wordpress really needs a professional backup restore tool that can blow this piece of sx%^t out the water.

My whole site just crashed when I tried to disable this Plugin. Had no way to restore the saved backups and no way of contacting Updraft Plus. I wish I had read these reviews first. Wouldn't touch this plugin!

I had my site change after a theme was updated and just restored a backup, themes only and it looks great again- easy, quick, very quality plugin.

This plugin no longer works. All my backups fail and there is no contact support only forum support which most of the time doesn't help solve the situation.

I created a ticket a 1½ month ago about a bug in their software where we were not able to download nor restore from Scaleway. Support is both slow and not giving any reason help. Super frustrating to say at least.
