I have tried to redeem the vouchers for two kits only to be told the vouchers are out of date but as a goodwill gesture they have extended the date to the end of july but you will need to fill out a form to redeem. The issue is these kits,were given as gifts and to fill out there forms to claim the spawn you need to have the purchase date which i cannot get.There is no information on the box stating they need to be redeemed within a certain date. It states simply use the unique code on the voucher inside to claim your spawn when you are ready to grow.whether this isthe moment the kit hits your doorstep or when given it as a gift later in the year , we will send a speedy spawn delivery your way.i am currently waiting on a reply from them which ive had to message as the phone number is no longer in use.

My partner received a kit as a present, and they are now refusing to honour the spawn voucher, rendering it useless. Given this was the entire point of the kit, and no expiry date is given for the voucher, this feels like fraud. I would advise everyone to avoid.

I received a mushroom grow kit as a gift with a voucher code to redeem for dispatch of the live spawn. When I tried to redeem the voucher I received a message that it had expired, despite there being no mention of an expiry period anywhere on the packaging or in the accompanying information. The only route to query this is via an online form that I cannot complete as I'm not the purchaser. The customer service function is not interested in slightest in doing the right thing.

Really poor experience with this company. My daughter was bought a mushroom grow kit for Christmas and you have to claim the spawn it only had a six months expiry date and this wasn’t written anywhere on the box. When I went to claim I had missed the expiry date by one week. Contacted the company and they were unable to send me the spawn. I offered to buy the spawn and again they were unable to do this. So the kit is now useless. Really disappointing. Would not buy from this company again.

Was given a mushroom kit for Christmas and finally got round to doing it this week now the conditions are warmer and more suitable for growing mushrooms only to be told that the voucher had expired despite no expiry date on the voucher, box or any of the enclosed contents. I was then told that I could fill in a form and they might send but this was not guaranteed so I politely declined and decided I would warn potential customers to how the company operates…

I needed some help and advice and got in touch via email. I received a timely and very helpful response. This outfit was a pleasure to deal with

I bought a kit from my local garden centre which required me to order my live spawn via a qr code.
The final page was nor clear so I emailed to query.

I got very quick help to get a product I required, I emailed and they got back to me immediately and sent the product out to me the next day. I still have to plant the mushrooms into a log and wait now, but I look forward to getting them next year 👍 and will write another review on how they came out!

I contacted them for advice and they’ve been amazing really helpful and quick response to my emails. Can’t wait to start growing.

I tried multiple kits over the years and they were great. Clear instructions and tasty mushrooms at the end ☺️ I wouldn't recommend growing mushrooms during winter as it's difficult to keep temperature up, but I was always successful rest of the year. Customer services were great.

I bought two kits one for me and one as a birthday gift for my friend, but when we tried to place the order for one of them, the code was missing — I got in touch with the company and they resolved the issue quickly and with great customer service.

As for the mushrooms, I’m excited to get started once the spores arrive.

My order never arrived, but on the system they got 2 times try delivered! no information about we missed you or where can be collected. now ofer me for extra payment another deliveries.

Bought 2 of their log kits but have stupidly lost the codes for the mushroom spore. Contacted them and they were willing to assist in replacing the lost codes. Helpful through the whole process. Awaiting for the items to arrive to begin farming shrooms.

Absolutely great service from them, had a small issue but a replacement was sent out right away. Great customer service.

I have now been able to harvest the first flush of wonderful mushrooms!

I got two kits for my wife as a Christmas present and when we went to order the code for one of them the code was missing - probably due to my inability to keep pieces of paper that are important! I contacted them and they sorted the problem very quickly and cheerfully.

As for the mushrooms, one set are starting to grow, the others will be when I have drilled a log with the supplied drill bit. I'm sure they will be very tasty.

I ordered an Oyster Mushroom growing kit for my elderly father. Inside was a voucher to order the spores. Unfortunately he misplaced the voucher so the kit was useless. I messaged Urbn Farm and had a prompt reply from Haidee who agreed to send a replacement out to me. Great customer service that was efficient and friendly. I recommend this company if you want to support a small business with great values and a friendly approach.

I was very excited to start growing my lionsmane mushrooms and everything went well. But my harvest looked more like cauliflowers when it grew so I left it longer to see if it changed to what it looked like in the pictures. It didn’t and then it turned yellow so could eat it.
Was disappointed.

I was given a Golden Oyster kit for Christmas. I followed instructions carefully but have had no sign of growth. I contacted customer service and have had fantastic support in resolving why the kit has failed and I've been offered a replacement kit. Thank you to Haidee for your help in resolving this matter. I'm looking forward to trying again 🙂

Their oyster mushroom pack is total rubbish - 2 months on having followed the instructions, nothing. Waste of money and time.
