The blind pods from Vanshades are fabulous. The one downside: they are a fairly expensive upgrade. However, my curtains were shockingly bad and the quality of the shades is excellent. Even better than the quality, though, is the service that I received. Vanshades have been so easy to deal with, always friendly and helpful, patiently answering questions and never making me feel like I'm a nuisance.
I did have to go back for a couple of tweaks to the fitting after the initial installation (I have a slightly awkward LWB T6 high top conversion) and this was no problem for them or for me - it's a custom order hand fitted onto a bespoke van conversion and everybody just wants it to be right. Special shout out to Zak, who did the bulk of my installation, for being an all around nice guy. But also to Jack, Ellie, Vicky & Ben - everyone was really lovely; super professional but very friendly.
I am so pleased with the finished result. It's now like being in a private little cave when the blinds are shut and they look amazing.

This is the second time I have had dealings with Vanshades, I bought a van that had their shades already fitted. Twice now there has been a failure that has required me to send a blind back for repair, on both occasions the service has been exceptional. Blinds sent for repair on a Monday were back by Friday, and all under a lifetime warranty. I will add that these blinds are now 10 years old, this isn't a new poorly produced product that is only a year or two old. I wouldn't hesitate to use Vanshades again and recommend them to everyone I can. We need more companies like this who take responsibility for their products long term rather than encouraging us to throw them away and buy new.

Exceptional service and a truly exceptional product. From start to finish this is one of the best experiences we have ever had when dealing with a company. We had blinds fitted to our already converted VW and are so pleased with the results, the team managed to come up with a solution to fit the blinds behind the built in units and they look amazing. A lovely friendly bunch of people who take pride in their product, we would most definitely recommend the company and product to anyone thinking of having blinds fitted to their van.

I recently had Van Shades fit blinds to the windows of my VW T 5 camper van. They did a great job with the fitting, the blinds are super quality and total black out. They really look smart and enhance the inside of the van.
As for the staff, Jack and his staff are all very polite, helpful and totally professional.
I can’t recommend this company enough, so if you want blinds in your camper van, give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

Ordered these for the Ford Transit Custom and the fit is poor, contacted the company and apparently they are not as good as the Transporter ones! They stick out from the window apature and the one on the sliding door rubs the glass on the outside when it opens. Apparently I am not the first to feed this back but as the company said they are what they are! A lot of money for a poor fitting product, if I had my time again I would have gone for good quality curtains and saved a fortune! Purchased van shades in error as these didn't fit my van, my own fault as should have read the guidance. Vanshades were brilliant, They offered advice after which we concluded I'd made a mistake and they couldn't offer anything to fit my van. I posted the shades back and they refunded me as soon as they received the items, they even refunded the postage costs. Couldn't have been more helpful!

Anyone wanting any products from van shades don't hesitate what a fantastic company I bought three pods from them for my transporter and they are amazing.one was slightly out I went back and they was so helpful took it out sorted it within 20 minutes.the manager is a great guy and the lad who sorted my blind was so pleasant and talked me through it.i can't thank vanshades enough fantastic company.there after sales and customer care is second to none.steve galey

If I could give van shade more stars I would. We popped in today expecting to have to buy a replacement blind for our VW. They say pop the van down to the workshop doors and we will fix it for you now. So while we waited with a couple of cups of tea that they kindly made for us they repaired the blind. FREE OF CHARGE. I was gob smacked. 100% customer satisfaction. I will 100% use Van shades if or when we decide to replace them or if we build a new van.

Had my Vanshades fitted this week, they look really good and made such a difference . I drove up to Barnsley to have them fitted and met Jack, great service by all. Thanks

It’s only something goes wrong do we fully appreciate the efforts that some will go to to help. Our van Blind tension cord snapped while we were on holiday. We expected a wait time of weeks for a repair. However, on the off chance, we contacted Vanshades in Barnsley. We received an immediate reply and reassurance that it ‘could be sorted quickly at the workshop in Barnsley’. We were greeted by Ellie who could not have done more to help. If first impressions count, we immediately felt in good hands. A pleasant Technican , Jack, met us, introducing himself, assessed the job and within an hour had it sorted. The MD, Jack Staniforth, came and introduced himself and struck us as a dynamic young man with creative vision. Vanshades did a wonderful job, efficiently and at a very reasonable price.

Amazing company! What a refreshing change to deal with a quality, helpul and knowledgable company. From requesting multiple samples, to delivery, was a breeze. All my queries and correspondence was replied to quickly (usually within an hour or so) and efficiently, Eve the customer service advisor was a gem. Delivery was stated as 3 to 4 weeks and was spot on....just over 3 weeks I think. I haven`t fitted them yet but I`ve given them the once over and the quality seems top notch.....very happy. If you want blinds for your van....I highly recommend these guys.

Product is excellent quality and very well made.
I just ordered 1 side window sliding door factory fitted to see how they are before ordering the rest? I was a little concerned how to fit and rang their office. Jack answered and couldn’t be more helpful. Ran through how to fit everything.
