Unfortunately my VESPERA Pro failed to initialise the 3rd time I set it up.
However, the after sales team were fantastic. Great communication from Agnes, no delays. They arranged the telescope to be couriered to their headquarters and fixed the problem very promptly.
I’ve had it working a couple of times now with no problems.
5 Stars for after sales service and communication.

Après quelques frustrations sur la livraison de mon Vespera pro ( retard et confusion), ce fut le tour à mon filtre dual band d’être défectueux.
Lors de mon explication sur mon souci, Agnès c’est occupé de mon cas immédiatement et m’a remplacé mon dual band sur le champ.
Ce fut pour moi un soulagement profond de considération et je suis sensible lorsque des personnes professionnelles sont à l’écoute.
Je remercie vivement la société Vaonis d’être réactif et de prendre soin de ses clients.
Il me semble important de faire des critiques dans les deux sens lorsqu’i y à lieu de le faire, j’ai pris le temps d’écrire ces lignes car mon petit jouet me donne beaucoup de plaisir et l’investissement en vaut la peine.
Merci à l’entreprise vaonis et longue vie à elle.

I have tried to be an astronomer for years and have TAL, Celestron and Skywatcher telescopes which have had various cameras and trackers attached. It is not easy and takes hours of preparation and patience where the finest adjustments make a huge difference. I have been able to see planets and moons in some detail but the Deep Space targets are very difficult and result in faint wispy smudges. For targets like Andromeda Galaxy and Orion the Vespera Pro is an astonishing game changer. To get results as I have seen from my garden in Essex is amazing and many thousands of pounds would be needed and years of experience to get similar shots. The Vespera Pro will automatically orientate and focus on targets and produce astonishing photographs in less than an hour. And with a little post processing pictures almost as good as professionals can be created BY YOU! This is a new era in Astronomy and as long as you can move on from the romance of photons of light travelling billions of miles to enter your own eyes and instead creating pictures on a screen you will be amazed at what you can do. Vespera have a wonderful customer service team for if and when you need them.

I have doing astrophotography for many years. I have faced the usual problems of polar alignment, scope guiding, without taking in to account the big refractors, very high quality, but very heavy.
With VESPERA PRO all you need is a clear sky in the evening: and you are set. User friendly, amusing, and incredible performance: last night caught M81 and M82,in URSA MAIOR: beautiful . I am just waiting for LEO to be in the sky and chase M65 and M66

I have been taking photos for more than 40 years and beside all those pretty and interesting objects which can be found on Earth, in my case especially spiders and insects, I always dreamt of the stars. But I shrinked back from complex astrophotography equipment. When I first read about smart telescopes, my curiosity was aroused and I spent several weeks in getting information on what it is about and how it works. In December 2024 finally, I decided to buy a Vaonis Vespera Pro. Since then, my evenings and nights have changed a lot. I have spent so much time outdoors with my telescope. I didn‘t know what joy it is to stay under the night sky, watching the stars and watching the image created by my telescope becoming sharper and more detailed with increasing exposure duration. I am very happy with my Alien, as I call my telescope, and I don’t want to miss it.

They responded very promptly to my request for help. I was very satisfied with the experience.

The Vespera Pro had a fault and had to be returned to France. The customer support was first class. The telescope was returned very quickly and working perfectly. It's a great device. Thanks to Agnès and her colleagues. I highly recommend Vaonis.

As always the service from Vaonis has been excellent . First time in two years I’ve had a technical fault with the Vespera . Submitted a ticket describing the fault. Within days the telescope was on its way back to France . A week later the repaired scope was in transit back to me. At each stage I was notified of progress .1 email labels sent. 2 email telescope received 3rd email repaired and in transit back to UK. The technical support from their Facebook pages “ My singularity “ is also exemplary. They actual join in and comment daily on user posts and images. Special mention for Celine and Agnes . Always there to help over the years I’ve enjoyed my Vaonis products.

Vaonis informed me that I hadn't used my Stellina Astrocamera in 3 years and that my Stellina account would be deactivated. I emailed Stellina for help with the issue and a phone call was set up 2 days later. Agnes Dailly emailed and called me and was very helpful, knowledgable and patient with me and the issue was handled. EXCELLENT customer service!

On a voulu m'offrir ce cadeau.
La personne qui m'a acheté le cadeau et qui était censé recevoir le colis contre signature n'était pas chez elle ce jour là.
Le livreur a apparemment remis le colis à une autre personne mais nous ne l'avons jamais retrouvé.
Résultat, je n'ai pu profiter de mon cadeau à mon anniversaire et voir l'alignement des planètes comme prévu. Vaonis refuse actuellement de rembourser ou réexpedier.

Mise à jour:
Je suis surpris par votre réponse, qui semble me renvoyer vers UPS alors que, légalement, c’est bien vous, en tant que vendeur, qui êtes responsable de la livraison (Article L.216-4 du Code de la consommation). Un colis marqué comme “livré” ne signifie pas qu’il l’a été au bon destinataire.

Dans mon cas, il a été remis à une personne inconnue, sans la signature du destinataire, ce qui ne respecte pas les conditions de livraison. L’Article L.216-2 du Code de la consommation me donne donc le droit à un remboursement immédiat.

Ce type de réponse risque de refroidir d’autres clients potentiels : si un livreur se trompe ou agit de manière malveillante, faut-il accepter de perdre plusieurs centaines d’euros sans recours sérieux de votre part ? J’attends une prise en charge à la hauteur du sérieux de votre marque

Livraison rapide, conditionnement OK.

Terrible customer service. Tried to use chat and they just sent me a couple of videos that had nothing to do with my issue then completely disappeared from chat while I was still asking questions. This product is advertised as beginner friendly but really no help with what the files mean and how to use them, and again , no help from customer service. I definitely would not recommend this company to buy a smart telescope from. If your customer service was actually helpful I’d consider recommending it

La mise en service n'est vraiment pas simple. Entre le fait que seuls certains smartphones soient compatibles, encore faut-il en avoir un pas trop grand et avec un module photo en relief, sinon impossible d'avoir une mise au point suffisante pour pouvoir compléter l'installation. Dans notre cas, cela s'est terminer par le changement du smartphone. Maintenant, il ne nous reste plus qu'à croiser les doigts en espérant que le nouveau smartphone s'adapte correctement. Dommage de ne pas disposer d'une liste précise de smartphones compatibles (nous, on ne l'a pas trouvée). A suivre...

I stand behind their products and customer experience. After over year of owning my Vespera Classic, I have enjoyed my nights immensely. I also own the Vespera Pro. These scopes never cease to amaze. Ready to go out of the box is what amazes me. I’m a visual person, so I share with people on the spot (star parties).

The customer service has been very good to me. Questions are answered promptly and professionally. You push the envelope of excellence, and are the hallmark for Vaonis.

The Vespera Pro that I recently purchased developed a fault within days of its arrival that rendered it unusable. I was very disappointed - to say the least. However, it's important to remember that these are complex, "smart", electronic, instruments and, as an engineer, I am aware that issues are more likely when new. What was important was Vaonis's response - and it has been excellent!! They arranged shipment to France and rectified the problem within days!! No drama or excuses - just the problem fixed quickly! Excellent!

Like the product. A bit of a pain to get it as there were additional duties (~$280.00) to be paid COD upon receipt. But product works well.

This telescope is the best I own. I have over the years made (including grinding a 14” mirror) 6 telescopes. I prefer the Vespera Pro over the ones I made for deep space work!!
