Vaonis - Excellent after-sales support
Recently my Vaonis Stellina telescope stopped working and I submitted a request for support. Vaonis was very good about responding by the next morning, which is to be expected due to the difference in time. After a few email exchanges, Vaonis had me send the Stellina back to France to be serviced. I'm happy to report that not only is the scope working reliably now, it's actually performing better than it did before. The entire process took several weeks, but the majority of that time was due to shipping. When I purchased the Stellina I had concerns about after-sales support, but from my experience Vaonis' support is excellent. Thank you, Vaonis!

My Vespera Classic telescope had an electronics issue and Vaonis fixed it quickly.
My Vespera Classic telescope had a problem where it did not put out a WiFi signal and would shut down by itself. After I wrote the Vaonis support team, they asked for a video of the problem and then requested I send it back to them in France. Within two weeks of my shipping it from Oregon, Vanois found the problem, fixed it, and shipped it back to me. Everything works fine after getting it back.

Shipping price and import taxes and…
Shipping price and import taxes and duties were way too expensive. If you would do correctly at export, all these fees could be minimized.
For sure next time I will order from another location.

3 year experience with Stellina and Vaonis
I have owned a Stellina for 3 years in November. Twice during the warranty period it had to be returned to France for a repair. Both times there was absolutely no hassell or hesitation on Vaonis' part. I live in Texas USA and Vaonis paid the shipping both ways, both times. The issues were resolved and I had the instrument back in about 3 or 4 weeks.
When I purchased Stellina, they promised a number of future upgrades to software; solar viewing, a mosaic mode, Plan My Night, and now the use of mosaic in Plan My Night and the ability to stack images on a projects over multiple nights. Everything they promised has over time become a reality.
I have had to contact customer service and ask for help a few times over 3 years. I have received a response within a day or two each time and my issue was resolved.
In addition, Vaonis continues to improve software and add new features to my 3 year old, discontinued scope. Stellina does so much more than it did when I first got it. I was so happy in the beginning just to be able to see deep sky objects in my suburban, 7 Bortle sky, backyard.
I was originally not sure what I was getting into buying an expensive new product whose software was still being developed from a young international company. Over my 3 year experience with Vaonis, I have not ever been disappointed with the product, the warranty, or the service I have received.
I am a very satisfied customer.

Hors mis la livraison de mon vespera pro qui a mis un retard de deux mois, je suis assez content de l’appareil.
Simplicité, design, qualité de l’image.
Je reproche un petit truc quand même, les étoiles ne sont pas bien ronde.
Je pense que les prochaines mises à jours aideront à ce soucis.

Mon Stellina ne s’initialisait plus
Mon Stellina ne s’initialisait plus. J’ai ouvert un ticket support Vaonis le dimanche. Le lendemain j’ai été contacté par Vaonis pour discuter du problème. Mardi on m’a informé qu’il fallait envoyer l’appareil en support. Le même jour un bon UPS, que j’ai payé, ma été fourni. L’appareil a été renvoyé. Et en une semaine réparé et testé et renvoyé chez moi. Un support vraiment super. Pendant tout le temps j’ai toujours pu être en contact avec le support pour des questions. Au retour du Stellina tout à parfaitement fonctionné. Au niveau du coût de la réparation, vu que le Stellina n’était plus sous garantie, Vaonis aurait pu demander un montant de réparation important. Le coût d’envoi et de retour avec UPS a été plus cher que le coût de réparation, pièces et tests compris. Lorsque j’ai fait des images avec mon Stellina j’ai même pu voir les tests qui ont été effectués. Que dire de mieux. Merci Vaonis.
