I don't leave 5 star reviews unless a retailer has really earnt it, by going above and beyond the usual average comfort zone of UK customer service. I've just purchased a beautiful Skoda Karoq from Vertu Skoda Darlington and from my initial phone call, through all the subsequent phone calls and numerous email back & forth, I had the pleasure of dealing with Matt in Sales, who I must stress was absolutely exemplary throughout the entire process. He was sharp, professional, efficient and attentive. I hope the CEO of Vertu Darlington values Matt as a great assett for the company. To conclude, my whole experience with Vertu Skoda Darlington and Matt has been fantastic, therefore I can highly recommend this Skoda retailer for anyone wanting to buy a Skoda.

Very relaxed no pushing for to buy extra products. They were offered I declined and that was it. Super friendly staff especially mickal They even welcomed my dog along who I must say loved all the kisses and cuddles from all the staff.

The staff at Nissan Vertu were brilliant from the moment we walked in, to the test drive and then the purchase of our new car. Paul in the Darlington branch is friendly, welcoming and takes time to explain everything thoroughly and in easy to understand language. No jargon and no complex sales speak. I recently bought a used (one-year-old) Skoda Karoq from Vertu Motors - Skoda Darlington. Vertu was one of three dealerships whose forecourt I browsed before returning there with a clear idea of two cars that might suit my needs. I was impressed by the service, from my initial inquiry and test drive through to the collection of my chosen car a few days later. I was assisted by Iver, who demonstrated not only a good knowledge of the range but also a professional and courteous attitude throughout.

Fantastic service, really easy and seamless

Terrible experience . The team on the floor were not helpful except one who should work somewhere else and away from these people .
Their attitude was beyond low.
Bought a car and lots wrong with it. They said they would book into our local area to be fixed . They lied they hadn't booked in at all . Trying to have the 30 day to laps and we would be left with the car thst is 1 year old and should NOT have these problems . On returning the car they were so rude . Teav3lling many many miles ,, they really should have semt a lorry to pick it up for us after all its their responsibility to sell a car with nothing wrong with it espcially being inly 1 year old . All they were concerned with was getting more money out of us . STAY CLEAR .
What happened to the customer is always right. These people are protected and us good people get mucked about . They will probably take my review down but why we should all have freedom of speak its 2025 . People should learn from these reviews not only showing the good to make them seem great. We have learned a big lesson . Buy local . So sad that people can't be trusted in the day and age . We r good people have and been let down soooo badly by this garage. I hope some people manage to read this before it's gone .

Update 2 wks have gone by . Car is up for resale and we've not even had our deposit returned. Terrible service . Hope to hear soon or we go higher
