If you are busy this is a great option! I didn't have time to chat with numerous people and keep things going, so the team did this for me. Francesca was wonderful at keeping me updated and responding to my questions and feedback. While not perfect, they are open to feedback along the way and adjust accordingly. Haven't found "the one" but optimistic.

Vida Select was a great experience for me. Like most I was starting to think of dating as a second job. The needless communication that went nowhere, the inability to think of creative banter, weeding out the wierdos..it felt overwhelming. That's where VIDA came in to help me message a number of people each week. From there, I was asked my opinion on the matches for the week. As one would expect, some I agreed to and others not so much what I was looking for. It led to several dates which I was pleased with and I am currently seeing someone based on their recommendation. Now, I do have to say that I was told they had BOTH an internal pool as well as use of the apps. However, that did not seem to be the case as ALL my matches were from the apps. Additionally, it was not disclosed upfront that you will need to pay for memberships on the apps-that's an extra 100-300/month roughly. Overall, I would do it again because I did not want any longterm contracts and it was still more affordable than other options. My matchmaker KEDI was amazing and extremely communicative. She knew exactly what I was looking for and sought those individuals out for me.

I'm not one for writing reviews; I like to keep my personal behaviors and purchases private. But I'm compelled to write about VIDA. It was such a surprisingly positive experience that they deserve it.

I was beginning to think the problem was me, after many unsuccessful attempts at the dating sites and, frankly, two other personal dating services. After doing my own research, I decided VIDA "might" have a different approach that was worth trying. What did I have to lose?

I spent several calls and received focused and personalized attention from Lisa R. and felt that I was heard. They had good responses to my barrage of questions and skepticism. Lisa R. was patient and professional.

Then, I was introduced to Francesca Wright and her team. I was provided with the "oh, yes, we'll do a fantastic job and you'll be very pleased" speech, and waited for them to follow through. One piece at a time, I saw their work come together. The preparation was methodical. I still had not reason to be optimistic, because anyone can put work into getting you prepared.

Then, I began to see their deliverables, from the profile writing to the photographs. Quite an improvement, still me, but a me that really captured who I am, who I believe I am, and what I really wanted to present.

Then we went to market, so to speak. And, within literally days, I started to see results. The women I was interested in talking to were not only responding, but I was being reached out to - for the very first time. In some cases, I was in disbelief, not that I don't deserve, but that I had never seen this before. Not everyone was a match, of course, but it was up to me and my new "friend" to decide that. Their initial writing got me to a point where their was continued interest and I was able to seamlessly begin meaningful conversations.

The rest is up to me, of course, as it should be. I've had wonderful real-world experiences. I could say I've found the "one" but only time will tell.

Vida Select helped me pick my best photos, present them on the website and write a good profile. I got compliments on how professional my profile was.They also recommended the best websites.
My matchmaker, Shyne, worked all weekend to get my profile up on a Sunday evening. She was excellent! She gave good advice on how to handle different situations and what to wear on dates. She served as a go between for all the other people working on my team. Everyone was pleasant and helpful!

The experience overall was very positive. Shyne was great to work with, helpful and accessible. Martha the picture person was great and got good tips from the wardrobe person. I liked the writer I had - pretty humrous, appropriate and creative at times.

VIDA is the real thing. I have been working with Shyne and she is a pleasure to work with. They have done everything they said they would and I'm going to continue with her until I find exactly what I am looking for.

Celia was exceptional as a matchmaker – incredibly attentive and spot-on with understanding exactly what I was looking for. In no time, she had several well-suited candidates lined up for dating. I highly recommend using her gift for matchmaking.

Update 12/11 Vida asked me to update this to reflect that I did find some value in the profile review, and thought they made a thoughtful profile (though I'm not sure it took 120 hours to really put together). Full disclosure - they continue to ask me to take down reviews as I have posted on multiple sites, unfortunately for them this was my negative experience with their company, and if they wanted a better review they should have provided a better service after MULTIPLE concerns were brought to their attention. I do appreciate them refunding my last mo due to their violation of the contract, but this review is an honest reflection of poor service given.

Update 11/30/23: Upon this review being posted, Rosalia, customer success manager contacted me. She took ownership of not responding, citing she missed the message internally. I appreciate her honesty and candidness that my experience was NOT what is to be expected with their company. She took responsibility for their less than direct communication about internal matches and poor candidate suggestions, and was willing to refund my last month of service due to what I felt was violation of contract. I am satisfied with this resolution and appreciate her willingness to address my concerns. Just hate that it took my aggressive review to get a response after almost 2 weeks

I am horrified at this service and have so many complaints but cant fit them all here. My main complaints are that they did NOT engage with my matchmaking profiles 2x a day as in their contract (sometimes going 3 rounds missing communication, IE day and a half to respond), their “matchmaking” was little more than just randomly swiping right on profiles and NOT reading or making sure they fit criteria, and they were untruthful about their internal matchmaking until I ultimately quit and shut down my accounts.

1.Violation of contract not responding to conversations as specified in their contract: Per their contract, conversations on the apps are replied to every 12 hours. There have been MULTIPLE times where conversations were not responded to for 24-48 hours plus, and I did send screenshots of this as proof to the company. They claim to do “up to ten conversations” that but they were only engaging with 1-3 men at a time on the applications across FOUR applications. This was not due to a lack of matches, as there were always more matches in the cue that sat unattended to.

2.Basic preferences were NOT sought out in men. I had expressed concern about this multiple times, as I was told initially that the goal of their company was to only offer you men that may actually be a match and who fits your preferences. When I voiced concerns, I was always told they will “talk to the writers and do better”

I am actually HORRIFIED at men that a professional matchmaking company would suggest some of the men they did. They clearly had ZERO regard to what I had voiced that my preferences were, nor did they actually READ any of the profiles of the men that they were swiping right on. And yes, I expressed concerns to Simmy after all three of these incidents, always to a receive a “well work on that.”

Some of the most horrifying matches are as follows.
One of the first matches in Nov was with someone who is “allergic to woke people and dogs.” My only two hard requirements were men leaning more politically liberally, and being okay with animals. This was literally the FIRST line in his profile.

The second red flag, and I’m still shocked that a professional match making company would suggest to me someone who is openly only a BDSM dom/sub relationship when this is not a preference that I stated.

A third was that I was matched with someone who openly talks about his genital herpes the first thing on his profile. After the last man, I thought I had been clear I was not interested in ANYONE leading with sex related things.

I held out hope that even though I thought the matchmaking was going to be more than swiping on apps, maybe we would have luck on their “internal matchmaking.” Long story short - they continued to delay giving me a straight answer that there were no matches, and kept leading me to believe they were looking. It felt that it was leading me on that they *may* be able to find an internal match if I kept paying them monthly.

Overall – scam, they did not honor THEIR contract. I asked for a refund Nov 17, and still no response from management.

I had a fantastic time with Vida Select. They do a thorough job and my matchmaker, Nordika, went above and beyond to help me find a match. I’ve now been on 5 dates with my match and I hope she’s the one!

I was so overwhelmed with the process of online dating. There was so much volume of matches to sort through, so many text conversations to carry, and little to no dates would even come out of it. Vida paired me with Kedi, a kind and efficient matchmaker that turbo charged the whole dating process. She helped me set up my profile. She asked me questions that helped me to honestly convey what I was looking for, my vulnerability and personality came through too. The Vida team helped me pick the best photos to convey who I am. Once I was live, Kedi and the Vida team took over all the swiping and texting that had felt so overwhelming so I could focus on being present to my busy life, and to the matches that turned to phone calls and then, pretty quickly, turned to dates.

The dating process became fun. And the best news of it all is I met a kind, loyal man and we are falling in love. I've deleted all the apps! I hope I never need help with the dating process again, but if I do, I will call Kedi and enlist the help of Vida.

I had a great experience working with Nordika and her team at VIDA. I wasn't having much luck finding love, and Nordika was very understanding and helpful. I got my last relationship thanks to VIDA's help. We didn't end up getting married, but it was a closer match than I've been able to get on my own, so I'm going back to VIDA now.

The team at VIDA is first rate. They are diligent and sophisticated and obviously draw from a wealth of experience. Melissa and Donna were tremendously prompt and polite and took great care to understand what I was interested in and that I was faithfully represented along the way.

Francesca and her team are amazing✨ I have not dated for a very long time and felt overwhelmed at the thought of getting back online. In 2020, COVID was happening, and that foreclosed on many normal ways of meeting somebody.
I was new to the dating scene at age 64. I signed up with you. You advised me on my appearance, arranged a photo session, and suggested sites to use and ideas of what to post there. I didn't use your response service.

In any case, a woman contacted me in August 2021. We had our first date in October 2021. I never dated anybody after that. Debe and I have now been married for 16 months and are still "honeymooning"
