Unfortunately my initial matchmaker who I spent the 90 minute session with getting to know me had a family emergency and I was assigned Nabeelah after I reached out since I hadn’t heard anything for a little while.
Nabeelah was great. My concerns come with the writers who send and answer messages. I’ve breakers were sent before my approval and responses were lacking. Less than the 2 times a day that was suggested. I also found that if a man wanted to converse more no effort was made to say something like I am on my way out but can message tomorrow or something to that effect. I wrote to Nabeelah and was very concerned that I was coming across as quite rude. She heard me and I did see some change afterwards. I would say overall a little disappointed in how it actually works versus how I was told it would work. Expectations are everything. I am actually going to say 3.5 stars but that is not a choice.
Nabeelah was available and did respond to my concerns and questions quickly and made changes where necessary. The profiles were very good!! My concerns were not with Nabeelah but in the writers and overall process

I had a good experience overall with Vida Select. I experienced some hiccups with my first matchmaker, but Rosalia from Client Services was very helpful. She was patient, allowed me to voice all of my concerns, and very responsive. I was transferred to a different matchmaker Nordika who was great to work with. She is quick to respond/communicate and provided me with her advise/tips while still respecting my wishes even if that meant deviating from her suggestions. The visual brand team and writers crafted a profile that I am very happy with and were very quick to accommodate my edit requests. I paused my service to further explore some candidates that they found, but would work with Vida Select again.

It wasn't clear when I signed on with the salesperson that a matchmaker was going to pretend to be me to potential dates on well known sites. I'm sure fine by most but this makes me uncomfortable. But by the time I put the pieces together, my money was handed over. I'm using them for profile building though since the people are so nice.

Charlotte Stephens was great at communicating and filtering. Was patient as I preferred so I could manage my time and be productive instead of being stuck in the dating app game.

Melissa and her team were great! They really took a lot of the stress and hassle out of online dating. And I appreciate that they also set me up for success if/when I no longer needed their services but wanted to continue dating apps on my own.

Francesca and her team were great. Within a month I'd found someone that I really connected with.

Hayley is fantastic to work with! Though I haven't necessarily found the perfect match yet, I believe the process that Hayley & her team have are really helpful & insightful. Be open minded, try new things, & the right fit will come around, its all about the effort you put into it!

Vida is a well organized service with pluses and minuses. One huge plus was my matchmaker Hayley, without which I would have been lost. I had multiple issues with VIDA, starting with the setup and going through the regular running of the service. All throughout Hayley kept the process going and was focused on my satisfaction as we worked through the problems.
Here is a list of the issues I experienced and must be addressed:
1. Account setup, IT support - IT support was not very good. Had sites that had issues with and IT wrestled to get working (and ultimately failed). Other sites were not "officially" supported - but ultimately worked. I think IT should work in a much more structured way to provide the matchmakers with a good foundation (which is lacking today).
2. Account setup, Visual - Had little to no communications from the visual team and practically no feedback. Had to go in later with the matchmake and make adjustments. Would have been much better if the setup was more interactive.
3. Account setup, writers -Had to make repeated adjustments to the verbiage and in the end I just left some less than optimal text. Again, would be great to communicate directly and close the loop - rather than repeated back and forth.
4. Account running, visibility - there is no visibility into what's going on, time and contact wise. Would be great to know what's being done.
5. Account running, writing - had multiple incidents where the writers wrote text that was out of character for me, despite having information to the contrary. I realize it's a challenge with so many accounts, but still, it's essential they put in the effort to have a good grasp of the narrative and person before writing.

Despite all these issues, I think the overall result is more positive than negative. What really made the difference was Hayley, who I can't say enough good things about. I would recommend to give VIDA a try and see if they're a match. Hope they can work out their issues in which case this would be phenomenal.

Overall, this service and experience was very helpful and I'm dating a beautiful lady I met on Match with long term expectations. I woudn't be here without VIDA Select motivating me to "get off my couch" and take action about starting a dating life. They are supportive and responsive. I'm grateful for this positive experience.

Working with my matchmaker Nabeelah was such a pleasant experience. From setting up and confirming profile information, picking the right pictures to reviewing matches, Nabeelah makes you feel as though you are her only client! I highly recommend the service and Nabeelah!

My experience with VIDA Select was great! My recommendation is to ensure that you and the team have a clear understanding of what “you” are looking for in a soulmate in the beginning. Also, respond promptly and accurately to all emails from the team. If you follow those steps, then you will be fine!

Due to the poor dating climate during this time, I decided to utilize this service. My matchmaker Aeilar was great! Aeilar was prompt and thorough, ensuring that I received all of the needed information and my questions were answered. I also received notice of off days, and who the replacement was for that day. I highly recommend Aeilar if you can request a specific matchmaker. Overall, her and the team were wonderful!

I made a great connection through this service, and we are still communicating. The connection is getting stronger by the day, so I’m very excited about my social life this year! 😊🥰 The results will vary by person, but this was a great financial investment. I encourage all to know what you are looking for and to have an open mind. The soulmate search is a process, but if you go in with a positive attitude and make a strong effort, the reward will be worth it in the end!

Had an amazing experience with Vida! My matchmakers Lorraine and Nordika (worked with them both while one was on break) made a huge difference in the experience. Attentive, thoughtful, helpful when I had a wide range of questions (and I had a LOT) and very understanding. Can not speak more highly of them.

The technical set up side was a little wonky at first, but Nordika made sure nothing went up that I wasn't satisfied with so that was great, just took a bit longer. It's great to have people vetting and sourcing people for you without you having to think about it. Tough to relinquish power at first, but then it's a good thing to sit back and not get too attached.

I only stopped because I had unexpected scheduling issues that made me pause, but I'll be back. I've thankfully already had a meaningful match in one month that's worth exploring!

Definitely worth the investment! Highly recommend

(This is a 4.5 star review) My Vida sherpa was great. Friendly, helpful, easy to work with, responded quickly. She gets five stars. The team working with her gets 3.5 stars — they are good, not great, not terrible. It was very helpful to have them creating first drafts of everything. But I did a fair amount of editing to get to the final profile wording. Also, the profile photos they chose were weird. No matches with the photos they selected, so I tossed out their photos and chose the photos myself. Once we got profiles set up on all the sites, everything was smooth sailing. So, so helpful to have them doing the initial outreach and banter. I don’t know how people would do all that on their own. The bottom line: Vida is 100% worth it. I’d previously spent thousands of dollars on “luxury” professional matchmakers — low yield; total waste of money. Vida worked in two months — I’m now dating someone seriously.
