UPDATE--I was contacted by Nate from Vitagene. He was very gracious. The company offered a complete refund, but he also said they were planning an update to allow printing of reports. So I refused the refund, with the hope that an update will soon provide the ability to print the information so that it will be usable. I was very impressed with the company's effort to improve their service. Hope that update comes soon! Changed the stars from one to three. Hope I get to change it to five!

ORIGINAL POST--I was terribly disappointed in being unable to print out a report. I know that most people are able to read long dissertations on the computer but I am not. It is useless information because I am unable to print out a meaningful report. Is the information useful? Who knows?

My wife and I ordered genetic tests on December 8th. We ordered a premium pack for her, and a vitality pack for me. My wife's premium pack arrived on Tuesday the 11th, however due to what I was told was a shipping error by Amazon, the Vitality pack wasn't shipped out until the 13th. It was shipped via the post office. I received a message that it would be delivered on Monday the 17th. However, something went really wrong with the Post office and they lost it somehow. The Post Office found it again on Friday the 21st, and delivered it to me on Saturday the 22nd. We did the tests and mailed them out on the 27th. No idea how long it will take to get the results.

I value all the information that was shown to me through DNA. However when I ordered the very expensive vitamin package I noticed that a lot of the vitamins were dried up inside the capsule and didn't look fresh. Did not feel any different after taking two weeks worth of vitamins maybe that was not a long enough time. But stop taking on because I didn't feel that the vitamins were fresh and didn't look so otherwise. I hope this information is useful. While they do offer additional cost items to augment their business there was no pressure to purchase anything that I was not interested in. Overall it was a positive and professional experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to learn more about their genetic makeup.

I actually quite liked the test and the information they supplied. What I didn't like is that they later emailed saying they'd send another free kit in exchange for a 5-star review on Amazon. I think that's unfair, and I think it may even be against the Amazon terms of service. That made me trust them less.
