This company sought out my opinion and actively improved this product. They provide information others do not regarding how you metabolize foods AND hereditary information. I’m impressed by their dedication and customer service. Would highly recommend.

Vitagene provided the DNA results I needed to modify my diet and finally loose weight. The only reason they got a 4 instead of a 5 is because they recommended a diet with a carbohydrate recommendation of 119 g /day. However, my DNA shows that I have a very very very slow carbohydrate metabolism, and yet a fast fat metabolism. That data encouraged me to try the Keto diet and it has worked fantastically.

I have god detailed information about my ancestrality, diet, and other personal traits. But the most interesting is that Vitagene is always improving its services and website sections. Very good. I personally sent a thank you note few days ago congratulating the team.

Good DNA test. I just wish they could stop trying to sell me vitamins and give me just straight DNA facts. Feels like most of the prompting comes from a “questionnaire” they Insist you take and then that’s what is used to sync up to your DNA - proving you need these supplements. It’s tricky but informative.

I went on line before I purchased the DNA test. On there was a woman explaining how satisfied she was and how beautifully the brochure was explaining how everything was laid out and explained.. In the Groupon description there was no mention that the hard copy was no longer available.When I e-mailed I was made to feel like a fool, because the video I saw was old and no longer was what was promised available. Had I not been duped I would not have gotten the test done. In the future full disclosure would be helpful.

I like that Vitagene updates from time to time. I also like the meal planning which I am going to follow when I have time.
