We recently had our solar batteries installed, and we are extremely happy with the whole experience from start to finish.
The installation team was professional, friendly, and efficient. They arrived on time, explained the process clearly, and made sure everything was installed properly and neatly. They were also happy to answer our questions and took the time to explain how the battery system works and how to monitor it.
The quality of the installation was excellent, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. It was great to see a team that takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about doing a good job.
Overall, we are very happy with our new solar battery system and the service we received. The entire process, from organising the installation through to having the batteries up and running, was smooth and hassle-free.

VoltX is using a dud battery system
The workmen were great installers and everything seemed fine but many times in the day, the house is drawing on grid power for extended periods when the battery has sufficient charge. The Pylontech battery system is new for VoltX and the app has some glitches in it as well so does not seem to be a reliable brand. Two weeks have passed and tech support is not getting anywhere.

I’m very pleased with the product and whole process
I was very pleased with the customer service from the initial contact, explaining how it all works and the expected timeframe to install of battery and the post install follow up. The installation was seamless the guys were great and left everything neat and tidy. Great value battery solution, so far it’s been up and running for a week and we’ve used only 1kwH of grid power over the whole week. The Neovolt 28.8KwH battery with 5KwH inverter we had installed is paired to an existing relatively small 4.4kw solar system (5 years old) and family of 3 to give you an idea. Couldn’t be happier so far

The reason that I have decided to write this review is that I could not find any reliable information, will my existing 6.5 kw solar panel system with 5kw inverter be capable of fully charging 28kw battery system.I have bought Alpha SMILE -G3-9.3s battery system totalling 27.9 kw. As for charging in my circumstances my batteries get fully charged every day by midday even during cloudy weather.

Dismal response to warranty work
My battery was installed on 5/8/2026. One of the two 5Kw inverters was faulty out of the box, and the other was water affected (condensation on LCD display). Installer said He would lodge warranty claims. Six weeks later, despite many enquiries by me to Voltx, no action on making the battery work. I'm very dissatisfied with Voltx Energy service.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience, Ian. Having one inverter faulty from the outset and the other showing signs of water/condensation, followed by six weeks of waiting despite your repeated enquiries, is understandably very frustrating.
This isn’t the level of service we aim to provide, and we’re sorry we haven’t acted quickly enough to get your system fully operational. We’d like the opportunity to look into what’s happened with the warranty claims and get this followed up with the relevant team. We have sent you a request with your details so we can locate your case and escalate it for review.
