Mostly good

Mostly good, but it is difficult to rate until the plants have been in the ground for a while. A little disapointed in the annuals I bought. According to your literature I was supposed to get 2 plants of each, or plants that were dividable. I got neither.

Metal is lightweight

I like the trellis I purchased but it's not nearly as heavy and sturdy as the description led two of us to believe. it's much lighter metal, made in India. so it's misleanding

Poor, sad plants

As a sister company of Jackson & Perkins I expected the best. When my plants arrived I wasn't even sure that they were alive. They were in really sad shape. I have been trying to baby them along but still not sure they will make it.

My plants had dried out by the time I…

My plants had dried out by the time I got them. I took pictures and sent them to their info website and never received a reply. I ordered 9 plants. 3 out of 9 were awesome and I would order them again. The fact that no one replied to me is why I am giving this rating. It’s not worth my time to call back

The heuchera's I ordered only two lived…

The heuchera's I ordered only two lived out of six of the other plans I ordered several didn't make it and there is too much going on to save receipts and shipping labels and try to make it work so don't think I'll be ordering any more

Considering I contacted you twice about…

Considering I contacted you twice about a month ago about a shipment of dead flowers and I never got a response I really cannot encourage others to buy from you.

Very very satisfied

The impatiens I purchased came through very well potted and developed. They were even more hardy and advanced that I had expected and transplanted easily. The pricing was competitive with the local nursery, but the convenience of selecting from the catalogue vs what may be available from the local nursery was the deciding factor.

NEVER again!!!!

I am utterly disgusted and disappointed! I received my plants beyond "half dead" and from the looks of the packaging no care went into the "shipping and handling". And? I was charged accordingly.
These could have been absolutely Beautiful plants!!
I have photos from the day they arrived, gave them the utmost care and did not overwater them or stress them.
Now?
They sit in my pots in front of my house dying and will be thrown out shortly due to arriving in such a hideous condition.
Never again!!

The cedar planter we ordered was listed…

The cedar planter we ordered was listed on the Wayside site as "in stock", so we expected that it be shipped immediately. But the order was from a separate vendor, with no communication to me or to Wayside. After 3 weeks, I was able to locate the fulfilling vendor and learned that it had just been shipped, but no notice to me (and Wayside didn't know about it either). In the end, it was delivered, assembled, and we are quite pleased with it. Our experience with Wayside as the company that fulfills the request is 5-star.

First time ordering from Wayside...

First time ordering from Wayside and it was a great experience. Their selection of plants includes many rare varieties. I received my order of 15 plants within two weeks of ordering (May/June) and received two boxes. Two larger shrubs came in their own box and are beautiful! The others were boxed together in packing peanuts and the only suffering occurred at the very bottom of the box, the others were in fine condition. I called Wayside within two days of receipt and the phone was answered promptly by Carol. She listened as I praised as well as complained that the four plants in the bottom were mushy and that I wished either a refund or store credit. The conversation was hassle free as she noted the deceased and issued me a credit, explaining that it would be processed within two to three days. She also advised me to order early for fall planting as they tend to sell out early. Very friendly, pleasant, fast and efficient. She did offer to replace the plants but found only one was still available, I chose the credit. I have ordered from several online nurseries over the years, left my reviews and feel that Wayside/Park Seeds is getting a bad wrap. The good experiences are not being recorded enough as people are off happily planting their plants and not taking the time to write a good review. We tend to only raise our voices when we are dissatisfied. I would recommend this company.

Wayside you are my one and only from now on!

By far the healthiest plants I have ever received from an online Garden supply/nursery. I have been shopping around for years only to be constantly disappointed by sick and soon to be dead plants, and I am known for my green thumb!
Wayside you are my one and only from now on!

Not bad for a delivery

I received my order in the time that they said I would, but all that I ordered was not in good shape when it arrived. I just planted them, so we will see how it goes. I would recommend to everyone to buy from their local nurseries. I bought some coral bells, lamiums, and irish moss from the nursery just up the road. Plants are extremely healthy and thriving!
It only makes sense. Things sent through the mail go through a lot. It's no wonder why they are half dead by the time we get them.

Disappointed With service and plants

Plants did not arrive when I was told after a call to customer service. Was going to be away from home so I had scheduled them to arrive when I was there. They came while I was away and email informing me of their arrival arrived next day both times ( I had two groups of plants that were shipped separately). Needless to say they were very dry and not in good shape. I was able to baby them a lot and they are now growing. Plants were not what were described in catalog. Someone apparently gave a replacement not listed in description. Will be my first and last order to WG.

NOT AT ALL SATISFIED. 0rdered three plants (strawberries, blackberries and blueberries) Planted as recommended on the internet but the strawberries and blueberries died. So far blackberries are doing fine.

Plants arrived packaged well

Plants arrived packaged well, but one part of my order did not include 1/3 plants. It had 2 of the same plant. Also, one english ivy piece was barely "a plant." I don't know if I'll order again. Our local nursery would be better.

The last shipment I received is now…in pots in my nursery before I put them in a perment place

The last shipment I received is now starting to grow and doing well, My problem is the part where they are studied by the agricultural agency and come so late and are some what wilted (if it is a flowering plant and not a bulb). I understand why this is important here in Calif. Other wise your items are especially nice and some of my bulbs are in their second year of blooming and are so healthy.
