The company give you such a low…
The company give you such a low valuation when other firms Wii give you 10% more at a valuation of £55,000 so you loose £5,000 to go into there pocket . They just put the car in auction and make thousands on there low valuation, so you are the looser. Try any other
Platform but this one.
From the time I posted my car on there…
From the time I posted my car on there site to the point I met there rep, the original offer had dropped dramatically, very disappointed in there service, have to say that the rep was excellent and very apologetic. But won’t be using or recommending this company to anyone.

Turned up to WBAC not expecting much offered £1000 online didn't have all service history as only got what I have with car plus all information can be found online now cars done alot of mileage but in good shape no rust full 11month MOT no issues no warning lights 2 keys. The guy said there were few cosmetics wear and tear tried to offer me 436. The beauty of saying no to this offer was satisfaction guaranteed.

Great service
The gent we dealt with was very professional, and understanding of us being new to this. Made everything simple and very patient. I could of got much more money if I had sold the vehicle part by part, it did have some good parts. It would of taken sop much effort and time I was better off this way.
gave an online sale price for my car…
gave an online sale price for my car (over 1000 pounds) to make me take it in for collection , when i got there i was told 20 pounds , stay away as they are not honest with there online sale prices
Lewis was an excellent person to guide…
Lewis was an excellent person to guide us through the process. He explained everything clearly with kindness and courtesy. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him, and we are v pleased with the whole experience. Thank you.
Don't be fooled.
This company only wants to deal with desperate sellers. What ever they quote you is likely to be reduced by upto 40%.
So unless you're desperate steer clear.
Absolutely disgusting company taking…
Absolutely disgusting company taking advantage of a man with Parkinson’s and lowering the original offer down to £1400 then car being sold for £5000 I honestly don’t know how they sleep at night , vile company

It is my opinion that the staff at Guildford branch of We Buy Any Car (WBAC) to be dishonest and they lie.
Early Jan I considered buying a new car. Received an online quote from WBAC and went to Guildford branch to get a confirmation which turned out to be about £250 lower and lasted for 4 days.
The MOT was running out and it needed a service. As I was still looking around for a new car this was carried out but I did not use the car again.
A week or so after visiting WBAC I got an email revising the offer by an additional £150 more than the initial quote. After another week went by, I received another email which raised it by a further £200.
I found a new car and placed a £500 deposit.
Upon returning to WBAC the buyer told me all the information was stored in the system from my initial visit. He looked round the car again but he revised the value of the car below the original offer even though the car had been serviced and now had a new MOT.
He gave some bs answer that it was all down to algorithms. I asked to speak to his manager which I did over on the phone. The manager then asked to speak to the buyer and the buyer left the office but I was never allowed to speak with the manager again.
I was in the difficult position of losing my deposit on the new car or begrudgingly accept the low offer. The buyer did say I could raise the issue with customer services which I did.
From subsequent emails with customer services, it is apparent that the buyer lowered the grade of the car even though it was in better condition than the first visit.
The buyer said that the system could not be altered. A lie because unknowing to me he had lowered the grade even though he said the information could not be changed
Why did WBAC raise their offers after appraising the car and then not honouring them?
They hide behind the small print and unfortunately if you have locked into a new car, you are in between a rock and a hardplace and will lose money which ever decision you make.
In conclusion I would not recommend WBAC because if you do not accept their first offer any further emails raising the offer which are tempting, although in hindsight they are meaningless because they hide behind the small print and do not honour them.
Selling a car
I have just had one of the worst experiences in selling a car. I booked an appointment, ready to sell my car and took my car along to my nearest branch. The employee said the guy behind me had " a banger 2009 Volvo and he's only getting £100 for it and no more. I then told the guy, Colin, that the car was mine. He got flustered and asked to go see the car.
I obviously did not sell the car to him and left.
I did try and make a complaint on We Buy Any Car website but could not find anywhere on the site to do so.
I found Colin to be very unprofessional and in my opinion not a very nice person
Total scam
Total scam. Offered a totally different price online vs in person despite accurately describing the vehicle. Even the sales guy admitted it was a scam.
We are too busy to honour your appointment.
Yesterday I chose a 10 am (first time slot of the day) appointment for today at WeBuyAnyCar in Swidon this was confirmed by text yesterday. This morning at 8.30 am I was asked to confirm the 10 am appointment, I confirmed.
When I arrived at 9.55 I was informed "We are busy, you will have wait until we are ready" They would not give we firm time, " Should be about 20 minutes. We are busy you will have to wait" I was unable to wait. Totally unprofessional and waste of my time. Went to Carite in Wroughton without appointment, they valued the car and offered refreshments. This is how it should be done.
don't waste your time
tries to use we buy any car twice and they lure you in with a great price then hit you hard with half what was offered. Very strange as well as have 4.5 stars on their website but much lower on the actual trust pilot real website. Do not use as a waste of time
Had a valuation on Friday the 30th of…
Had a valuation on Friday the 30th of January 2026 was told by the Valuer it was guaranteed for 4 days £10925.00, returned today and was told there was nothing on the system so a new valuation would have to be done.
Now I’m being told the value will only be approximately £10,100 what a con they are incompetent and I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them.
Unrealistic valuation
Received a bid offer by text in the £5800.00 region, then 2 days later this was revised to £6200.00.
Took the car to my local Centre where I was offered £4480.00. I considered this to be totally inadequate because the Car had suffered no collision damage nor Electrical/Mechanical failures in the 1 Km trip from my house to the centre. A 10 year old car is not going to be showroom ready but this desultory offer (nearly 2K below the bid price) is a joke.
I must have found the best WBAC yet
Decided to give it a go as the online price was what I was expecting.
So made a booking and popped into Norwich site to check it out.
Checked car over found it had at some point been repaired but this seemed to have no reflection on price. Gave me a price which was the same as online but as I needed to remove my private plates he gave me 4 days to hold price.
Well 3 weeks later I did go back on the off chance as didn’t book an appointment. Saw the same guy as last time.
He again checked the car over.
Gave me a price which was actually higher than the previous price by a few quid.
We did the deal there and then. I paid the fees (extra £26) for same day transfer of money.
Money in my account 15 minutes later.
Unit used was Holiday Inn Ipswich Rd Norwich.
Highly recommended.
Just to put in perspective, I had an offer of 5700 from a buyer on Motorway after the dealer then kicked the tyres and offered me 4000 as he had travelled so far. This was refused point blank. 1700 difference is a joke.
WBAC paid me just shy of 5500 with far less hassle and a lot more honesty.
Don’t believe all the reviews you see go try it for your self.
What a rip off
What a rip off. Get your valuation on their site and then take a third off. What a waste of time.
Pathetic.

I was selling my Mercedes slk and got a quote from we buy any car. The quote on line was over a thousand pounds. The result was actually under £500. The car though old was immaculate, a high spec, I foolishly had a full tank of fuel and with a full 14 year service history.
I accept that this company may get rogue customers however the agent I deal with agreed with me that the car was exceptional. We buy any car is only for those of you who want to give your car away. My advice stay well clear. A dodgy enterprise if ever there was one.
We buy any car, massive drop from online price
Difference in online quote and final price was massive. 11 year old car with very little wear and tear. Quite a shocking difference in price. I Wouldn't recommend this company.
