Bought a gun had to return it cause it was not what was advertised on gunbroker, to never see my money again….no answers on the phone or email, buyer beware
I ordered from Gunbroker.com and won a bid to buy from Wholesale Hunter. I paid via visa immediately. They represented it was in-stock, and then a subsequent email said it was backordered. So- three months later I am still waiting for my credit requested and they have gone quiet and have not responded. They appear to be a ponzi or scam company and have never had any intention of fullfilling my order!!! Everyone should be alerted ASAP!!! I was taken for $1375.66 for a shotgun I was trying to buy for my grandson's birthday.
Wholesale Hunter is the most unscrupulous retail counterparty on the planet. They received my payment for a Sinclair Benchrest and will not fulfill my order, will not respond to phone calls or emails etc. This is a pattern with this Company! Buyer be aware!
i ordered an 'upper' from their home sight. price was good. and it was confirmed in 48 hours. and shipped to my door with in 3 days. very satisfied with that purchase. then i ordered a barrel a few months after that. they confirmed and charged my card. and then nothing. i emailed twice. and after a few days. responded with having trouble with my order. no response for days. multiple emails and a month later they finally responded with the barrel is out of stock and cannot place order . back-and-forth for about 4 to 5 months and they finally said they're gonna refund my money. another two or three months went by email after email after email. I found the same barrel on gun broker with their website listed. sent them an email and I said send me the barrel or refund my money and they're finally shipping the barrel after about nine months?
On December 9, 2025 I placed an order for the man with no name revolver, they charged my credit card the same day, that's the beginning of my nightmare, they never answer the phone and to reply to an email is also a problem, today December 26, and 17 days after the order was placed, I checked through their website because they don't answer the phone and not replying to my emails I found that my order was canceled without any advice. I believe my nightmare is not finished because they need to refund my money, I hope that I don't need the help of a lawyer to finish my ordeal.
This company owes me $500.00 since April of 2025. They won't answer emails, phone call or correspondence sent to them. They are a criminal group
I am a FFL and my next step is to contact their local ATF office .
Do NOT purchase from Wholesale Hunter. The company does not offer any support or customer service. They do not answer email, phone calls, voicemail, or the Manager Escalation Form found buried on their website. When their phone line isn't immediately rejecting calls due to "unforeseen circumstances" callers are placed on hold until the call is dropped after 20 minutes. The company has held my payment hostage for over a month until I was forced to submit a dispute with my credit card company. There is no way to request a refund as they do not review or respond to any form of customer communication. Do not gamble with your money by attempting to give them your business.
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS THRU GUNBROKER.COM OR THROUGH WHOLESALEHUNTER. COM. HE WILL MAKE EXCUSES AND MAKE U DO A CHARGEBACK AND SUE YOU LIKE HE DID ME.
Only reason for a one is because there was no zero.
3/7/25 the wholesale Hunter received 496.25 from my account . I was told by Jason the operations manager that my order was changed from order in process to order status canceled on 3/10/25. After 100s of unanswered calls and auto reply emails I was promised a refund again.
Look guys they are a joke. If the BBB don't get em str8. The good Lord will son. What goes around comes around . Karma can be a b$tch sir also a shitty reputation won't help
I ordered a handgun from Wholesale Hunter March 2, 2025, that apparently, they did not have in stock and had to order from another supplier. After waiting 3weeks and to many calls, I canceled my order on March 19th and received an email confirming the cancelation for a refund. They still haven't refunded as of April 25, 2025, I filed a disputed transaction claim with my credit card (Captial One) temporarily refunded the funds with-in 1 day, pending their investigation. I should have read all of their many negative reviews BEFORE I placed my order and not AFTER! You have now been warned! Don't make the same mistake that I did!
I ordered a rifle from Wholesale Hunter that apparently they did not have in stock and had to order from another supplier. After waiting 10 days and several unanswered phone calls, I canceled my order. They have had my money for 17 days now and I have nothing. I filed a disputed transaction claim with my credit card bank. Hopefully, they will proceed with my refund when contacted by my bank. I should have read all of their many negative reviews BEFORE I placed my order and not AFTER! You have now been warned! Don't make the same mistake that I did!
I placed an order for a Trijicon RCR red dot optic April 4th 2025 with a estimated 5-8 day delivery date. Their website states order ship within one to two business days so when I didn't get a notification of some kind with tracking information by April 8th I sent an email to jason @ wholsealehunter.com. I got no response so I called their customer service number multiple times. Each time no one answered and the phone disconnected after 20 minutes of being on hold. I have initiated a complaint with PayPal so I am hopeful to get a refund. I normally check Trust Pilot before doing business with a new company. I didn't do that this time, and I have learned my lesson. I don't know if this company is a scam or they just advertise products as in stock to get your money hoping they can drop ship, or get them in before you complain or demand a refund. Either way don't buy from them. There are too many other companies that are more reputable. It should be noted this company is in AL and I'm GA. There is now way it takes a week to ship an item one state over. I've ordered firearms from other companies that showed up at my FFL in two days from much farther away.
Didn't ship. Won't answer 4 emails. Won't answer telephone. Chargeback process started.
I ordered a magazine for one of my rifles from wholesalehunter via GunBroker.com. After 2 weeks I never got the item. I called them and guy claimed my shipping address was not on the GB order. It’s on page two of the order. I knew he was lying so I asked for a refund. He said okay. Never heard back. Two unanswered emails and after initial call, they obviously don’t pick up when caller id shows caller after 7 unanswered calls. Working with credit card company hoping I get a refund.
I would think twice before doing business with Wholesalehunter. I ordered a revolver from Wholesalehunter that was advertised on Gun Broker in Mid January of 2025. On 1-31-25, I cancelled the order after I was informed the revolver was not available and on back order. Wholesalehunter had already charged my credit card. Wholesalehunter staff informed me that it would take 15-30 working days to process the refund / credit to my credit card. I have spoken with multiple Wholesalehunter staff on multiple occasions via telephone and sent several e-mails to their supervisory staff with no response. As of 3-20-25, my credit card has not been refunded / credited. I have involved my credit card company. I feel the actions / nonactions of Wholesalehunter are negligent and totally unacceptable.
I ordered a wrong product from Wholesale Hunter through gunbroker.com (stay away from them as well, see my review). I reached out to them via phone and they said to send it back and they would issue a full refund, and sent me an RMA. I returned the product via USPS with tracking. It was received by them on 10/29/24. No refund. Sent them two emails asking when to expect the refund. No replies. Called them today, and got a "word salad" had to check with warehouse, if it was received, would have to go to accounting, blah, blah, blah. When asked why no replies to my emails I was told he reads all emails and didn't receive any from me, which is a flat out lie. They were sent to their published email address which is the one that was sent to me, and were not returned to me by my email provider. When I pointed that out, he said "well maybe they went to spam". I then told him my second request was sent in all caps, and didn't he check the spam folder, he replied "were wasting time here, I could be working on this". If I do not hear back from them by tomorrow, I will be contacting my Credit Card Company to instigate a charge back. DO NOT buy from Wholesale Hunter.
I bought a rifle they advertised online,I paid and selected 2 day shipping.....this was 7 months ago and still no rifle nor refund. They always tell me it's on back order or they're having delays.I have hired an attorney at this point. No calls returned,no emails replied to....NOTHING.Stay AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY,I'm now seeing the hundreds of complaints on this place, should've checked BEFORE I BOUGHT
Tried to work with support at Wholesale hunter for a couple weeks so that I could get bullets (not ammo, just copper and lead bullets) sent to me. The support 'person' I spoke to twice was so preoccupied and apathetic to my situation, you could hear the laziness ooze through the phone. He said it is normal for two boxes of bullets to cost $118 to ship by air and it wasn't their fault, it was UPS's fault. Finally, I called in asking to talk to the primary manager and after talking with her for a minute (odd the website does not show her name as the manager or any other position) she just hung up on me.
Disgusting customer service with no desire to actually help customers buy their products.
They Have a very poor system for picking out a Scope. I purchase one and they sent me another, and said that what I had ordered. I order a Ball Plex and received a Balliseticletic Plex. The Ball Plex has an AO and a different reticle. The Ballistic Plex has Side Focus with a different reticle, but they have the same number #200341. They told me I order from the Picture of the Item, on Gun Broker Ball Plex #896243674.
