Originally out of stock but Woodsmith told me when new stock arrived and I got one through the door within a week. Difficult to improve on this service.

Absolutely incredibly company.

They go overboard on packaging and get things shipped from the UK to Australia really fast.

I have had only one product fault (not their cause) and they went well above what I would have expected any company to organise to ensure I had my new item as soon as possible.

10/10 recommend.

Every time I've shopped with Woodsmith I've been totally impressed with the quality of kit, the way it was shipped (and the materials used for packing), plus, the odd time when I've had to ask for more info. it's been thorough, really well informed and friendly. In fact, they've sort of earned my trust in what they choose to stock, so sometimes when I'm torn between all sorts of options on a tool, I just pick the one they sell, because they seem to really know their stuff and I'm pretty sure it'll be one of the best of its kind (at that pricepoint).

Simple ordering, fast response, great products

It has been many years since I have witnessed customer service such as I received at Woodsmith today. From first contact on the phone to face to face in the shop my experience was exactly as it should be but what is rarely seen in any business in 2026. The lady who served me is phenomenal and although I expected to leave with a carving knife, I didn't expect an education too, Her knowledge is clearly extremely extensive and her energy makes her the perfect teacher it is just quite impressive how she wraps that up into customer care. Having never owned the specific knife I purchased I was anxious about sharpening but the lady took so much time and patience in not just explaining but also demonstrating how she recommends sharpening knives. I walked away feeling guilty for having taken so much of her time.
This is how life-long customers are made and from here on in I will be visiting Woodsmith for all my supplies. They stock a wide range of wood working tools and equipment as well as offering services which I will look into for the future, Truly impressive.

Fantastic products, great customer service, nice people!

I required a variety of decent quality steel rulers and was delighted to find Woodsmiths that had a range of Shinwa Stainless ones in various sizes that seemed fairly priced.
Prior to ordering I did contact them by phone with a query which was answered in a friendly, helpful and proficient manner.
Once ordered they were packed well and dispatched promptly, Fedex caused a small delay but otherwise the order process was excellent.
I would be a happy to order from them again.
