I received a knitting kit for Christmas from my mother in law, after starting my project I had a few knitting questions as a novice knitter. Claire at Wool Couture got back to me very quickly via email with an answer to my query and also a little personal video. What a lovely company to deal with I will be buying from them again. And I can carry on with my project. A very happy customer x

I absolutely love Wool Couture. I’m new to knitting and I’ve bought a few projects/wool from here and I’ve always had quick delivery, quality products and most importantly help when I reached out to gain advice on a jumper project that I was struggling with - nothing was too much trouble to help me complete my project. Now looking for my next project to tackle and I will only shop at one place - Wool Couture ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m not very good with following written instructions for crochet so my blanket didn’t look right. Anyway, I emailed the team and they sent me a great video and I could see straight away where I was going wrong. And now I have a beautiful Lucy blanket 😊

Asked for the scarf kit for a Christmas gift. Husband wrapped it without checking - when I opened it, it was a kit to make baby bootees. He spoke to the company who agreed to send a replacement, but my husband had the faff of going to the post office to return the wrong kit back to them. Not finding the instructions easy to follow - it was advertised as suitable for beginners, but it’s not clear and assumes some prior knowledge. Having to resort to YouTube to try and work out what to do.

Edit after receiving a reply: fair enough, I’ve checked again and it does state that it’s for those who are comfortable with the basics. Keeping as three stars due to the error in sending the wrong one initially which meant a delay in receiving the gift, didn’t get it until after I’d gone back to work when it was meant to be a holiday project.

I am so pleased with the service I have received from Wool Couture. I had a query on a knitting pattern. I emailed Wool Couture and Claire advised me on the way forward within an hour. I am now happily continuing to knit my jumper.

I have been buying wool and kits from Wool Couture for several years and have always received great service.

Wool Couture were really helpful and flexible about changing my delivery address last minute, and the product was lovely.

Some nice products, but delivery is shocking as other customers have said. This is a small company taking on too many orders for them to cope with especially at busy times such as Christmas. The company need to consider this as customers will end up ordering elsewhere. I am assuming based on their despatch issues that the two dragons from Dragon's Den may no longer be involved.

Ordered 11 Dec for Christmas delivery with cut off date on 13th Dec. They state they send by Royal Mail tracked 48, but you have to wait up to 7 days (based on previous order you actually have to wait 7 days) before they will start to despatch orders and then it is delivered with 48 hours (not mentioned on their website). This is the second time I have ordered from them as there were some things they sold that would be nice presents and they were very slow last time as well. I emailed them on 19 Dec and they replied 20 Dec to say it was due for despatch and it arrived on Monday 23rd - they relied on Royal Mail being able to deliver on time which is very risky as I was not sure it would arrive and was getting anxious it would not. They need more staff to get items despatched truly within 48hrs.

My advice - if ordrering place your order a month in advance to ensure delivery for a birthday / Christmas. Also my partner said on one of the products ordered for a cushion there was not quite enough wool, but luckily she had a small piece left from a previous one. Why not supply a small bit of extra wool.

As a beginner I got in a pickle with a cardigan kit I purchased from Wool Couture. I contacted the team there and Claire was extremely helpful. She even made a video of the alternating two rows I needed for the pattern. Straight away I could see what I was doing wrong. This goes well beyond my expectations. Thank u Claire

My partner bought me the 2024 advent calendar. Really loving it, especially the cross stitch. This is my second one. Woolcouture is great to buy from, I have bought quite a few products from them and the quality is always good.

Really poor customer service, these guys do not deserve to be in business.

They use the excuse of being a small family business for their lack of customer support and poor picking and shipping times.

The business owners and management should consider seasonality and plan for providing additional capacity at busy times if they choose to accept orders.

As a result my partner will be missing a Christmas present.

I've received my package today. I've had great communication from the company from ordering to receiving the product I've got and with it being the busy Christmas period this in my opinion is fantastic. The product is wonderful and customer service is excellent.

I've just received my order from Wool Couture which is a Christmas present for my grandaughter. I'm delighted with it and so will she be.The crochet 'kit' is great and the lovely soft wool is a gorgeous colour.
Like others who have reviewed I contacted the company about the delivery of the order and had a lovely reassuring reply straight away. It's great to deal with a new small company, all the best to them.

Love this company. As a beginner at crocheting, I’ve have made a few kits, pumpkin, scarfs and hats now. Have all you need provided in the kits the patterns are easy to follow and very relaxing to do and look good enough to give as gifts. You can choose projects that match your skill level which makes improving easier.

I want to say a huge thank you for getting me knitting again after 30+ years!

I came across your products on the M&S website. So starting with the hairband, I’ve added the candle wrap, 3 cushions, a scarf and then another one using a different pattern which now measures 2m, a throw. And I now have a larger throw and the Ella cardigan on the go.

All of this, apart from giving me huge amounts of pleasure means that I’ve made nearly all my Christmas presents!

The New Year projects are numerous and I’m hoping I can keep going.

Such lovely products and very helpful with questions. I’ve ordered more than once now, the second order I had a question about delivery and the team responded quickly in the busy Christmas period to help explain things to me.
The products arrived beautifully packaged and the people I’ve bought them for have mentioned how easy to follow they are and how much they’ve enjoyed making them. Would definitely recommend.

I recently placed my second order as a gift for Christmas as I loved the crochet kit I purchased for myself which has beautiful quality wool. I have read the comments regarding delivery and I too have contacted the team wondering where my order was. Communication was great from the team and I had a response the same day despite it being the weekend! I realised I hadn’t read the details about shipping. This is a great little company which will never be able to match the turnaround times of the faceless big companies. Make sure you understand the delivery times so you allow the time before the goods are required. If in doubt drop them a email to see what your options are before ordering. We need to support the smaller guys.
