Sadly after 3 years of weekly deliveries I know long shop with woolworths i was only given one box of Coke instead of two I had paid for when I called them they treated me like a liar not good enough I have never had a reason to complain before until now good bye.
WOOLWORTHS DISCRIMINATE AGAINST IN STORE SHOPPERS TO ONLINE SHOPPERS
I did a google search for Woolworths at Coomera Oakey Road and checked the price of Brown Onions and the site stated they were $2.50kg. I proceeded to the store and purchased a kilo and was charged $3.60 at checkout! I proceeded to the Service Desk and the attendant advised me that the price advertised on the Website is for online orders only and then she showed me her phone and it stated that they were actually $3.60kg. They seem to discriminate against people who take the time to go to their store to those that order online it’s quite obvious that they don’t want people going to their stores to shop! Upon checking just now the price of the onions at the same store has now been changed to $3.60kg very shonky trading as far as I’m concerned!
Fantastic teamwork
Recently I had to contact Woolworths about items not delivered. This was the first time ever. I rang Woolworths Portland, the lady was so nice she said she would put me onto the online order people, they in turn listened and reassured me that they would contact the driver. During this time which was all 5 minutes the driver arrived. He was apologetic and friendly. I got my items. Thank you to these Woolworths staff members for quickly solving this issue, it has increased my confidence in your store.

If I coul rate 0 stars I would used this service only twice now and they stutted up both orders first order I didn’t 387.55 and there was 208.60 worth of items missing took me 5 days of constant checking to get the refund then I went against my better judgement orders 458.75 worth of groceries over $266.55 worth of items missing it’s an absolute joke why should they I have to wait for my money back when they paid for these items if you had no money left after spending 468.75 on groceries bad luck basically never again

Woolworths had taken money out my account twice for a order and denied it. I have proof that they did but still denied it . I will definitely not be shopping with them again .
TRUTH MATTERS & FAKE REVIEWS SUCK!
This might sound Petty but TRUTH matters. My usual Southern Fried Chicken coating was out of stock so I purchased Woolworth's Coat and Cook Southern Fried Chicken 50g Mix. It is advertised as having a 3.8 Star customer rating of 270 plus customers Yet no where can i review the product on Woolworth's web site myself. The Product I purchased and wasted a Kg of chicken on was basically a bag of Super Salt and Red coloring. Now I like salt and I never buy salt reduced but salt poisoning is a real thing. The Chicken turned red and was too salty to even eat. I firstly thought the red was going to make it spicy hot but NO, there was no flavor other than salt. So I wasted my time and complained to Woolworth's but so far nothing has happened. I gave them the batch numbers, expiry and purchase dates. So Either there are a rogue batch of salt filled bags out there still attacking unsuspecting customers artery's or the Woolworth's reviews are TOTALLY FAKE!
Self checkouts are very inconvenient
Self checkouts are very inconvenient and essentially pointless with all the security, I have to constantly call the attendant because it doesn't like something.
Very frustrating, either open more check outs, get more attendants or back off the security a bit.
Hate shopping at Woolworths now
EVEN ONE STAR IS FAR TO MUCH
Unfortunately we don’t have many good fruit markets and Woolworths is one of the worst. Woolworths is no only doesn’t have fresh vegetables and fruit, but is extremely expensive for season fruits but it will display mixed fruit, fresh and old out of the fridge. I personally found them dishonest and cannot be trusted with everything they sell.
While the olive oil in Europe is back to normal and prices have been retrieved Woolworths is selling virgin and olive oil the same price as when Europe had shortage of oil and prices doubled.
Last year Woolworths made a billion dollars profit, impossible when you are not over charging for goods.
Did you know that in some goods Woolworths’s mark up is is anything from 300% to 2000%?
I will not support greedy corporations like Woolworths as it is one of the worst in Australia.
Boycott Woolies it's a fraudulent food…
Boycott Woolies it's a fraudulent food giant which scams it's customers with fake discounts, horrible stinky chicken, spoilt milk, and then come up with fake promises with promotions make people spend thousands for their peanuts promotion and cheat people outrightly of their hard earned money daylight robbery with the recent cookware program it's mentioned on the receipt redeem points till 7 July 2026 and now just washes off hands saying till stocks lasts that you should have printed on the receipt and not given the date frauds. I need a compensation of $136 voucher given to me for all the inconvenience and cheating. Worst scenario they have worst customer service who don't value customers and so beggarish that crying like wolves to give a voucher to spend back in their own outlet. Disgusting Woolworths need to be shutdown we people had enough the government should stop these tyranny of have 3 supermarkets rule Australia we need to promote local shop owners and build competition not corporate giants for government to loot people and make us fools and they feast and fatten each other. Humbug! Highly condemn this nonsense! People show your power speak up and shit these Fraud Woolworths! Never keep quiet for all their frauds done for years to innocent people we give business to them and we are treated like dirt we need to stand up for our consumer rights and teach these mega frauds a good lesson. I need $136 voucher immediately.Did you hear Woolworths CEO?
Woolworths Cookware Promotion – Completely Misleading and Extremely Disappointing
I am yet another customer affected by Woolworths' cookware promotion, which was advertised as running until 7 July 2026, only to find that the stock had effectively run out well before the promotion end date. This has left many customers with hard-earned cookware credits that are now essentially worthless.
I visited multiple stores prior to the credits earning period ending around 21 June 2026. At the time, the casserole dishes and small frying pans were already in very limited supply, while the Woolworths app continued to show that other cookware items were available. In reality, the information was inaccurate. I arrived at stores to discover there was no cookware stock at all, and in some cases, the cookware display shelves had already been removed.
When I spoke with store team members, I received comments such as, "The cookware shelf was removed a while ago" and "We haven't seen those items for quite a while." This suggests the stock shortages were known long before the advertised redemption period ended.
I have called Woolworths customer service twice last week and again today at around 12:00 pm, each time experiencing long waiting periods, presumably because many other customers are calling regarding the same issue. During my conversation today, Everyday Rewards representative Anu simply repeated scripted responses and demonstrated little genuine customer service or ability to address the problem. Her senior team member, Brendan, did provide more explanation and acknowledged my concerns, but ultimately advised that, under Woolworths' policy, there was no solution other than submitting feedback to management.
As a consumer, I do not need my feedback simply "passed on to management." This is a problem created entirely by Woolworths. Customers were encouraged to spend more money and accumulate credits based on the expectation that rewards would be available until the advertised end date. If Woolworths was unable to properly manage stock levels, that should not become the customer's problem.
Running out of stock occasionally can happen. However, advertising a promotion until a specific date while allowing the rewards to become unobtainable weeks beforehand, with inaccurate stock information still displayed online, is misleading and undermines consumer trust. Surely it would be more honourable to overstock and manage excess inventory than to leave loyal customers with worthless credits.
Many customers have raised similar complaints, and I believe this matter warrants review by the ACCC. At the very least, Woolworths should provide compensation or an alternative remedy for affected customers rather than hiding behind policy wording and scripted responses.
Shame on you, Woolworths
Disappointing
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Woolworths Marketplace/Everyday Market. I placed an order on 16 June with an estimated delivery window of 18–24 June. By 27 June, the order was still showing as “Preparing shipment,” meaning it appeared not to have even been dispatched after the delivery window had already passed.
What made this worse was the lack of clear support and accountability. I submitted a request and received no meaningful update, then had to chase the issue myself. I was referred between different support pathways, including Woolworths Online, the Marketplace process, and the seller, which made the experience feel disorganised and unnecessarily stressful.
The only positive part of the experience was the Woolworths Online phone support staff, who were genuinely lovely, patient and apologetic. However, they seemed to be apologising for issues that were clearly not their fault, which only highlighted how poor the broader Marketplace process is.
When customers purchase through Woolworths Marketplace, they should not be left to chase third-party sellers for basic information about whether an item has shipped. Woolworths should take clearer responsibility for orders placed through its platform, especially when the order is overdue and worth a significant amount.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Woolworths Marketplace. I would be very hesitant to order from it again, particularly for anything expensive or time-sensitive.
In short: do not buy from Woolworths Marketplace unless you enjoy paying money to enter a customer service escape room.
$15 for delivery, only to not receive half of the order
Shame on you for having the audacity to charge a $15 delivery fee (half-way robbery) and failing to deliver half of my order.
The only reason I ordered online was because I wanted to stock up on some frozen items and I don't have a car. I didn't receive ANY of the frozen items, literally half of my order was missing.
Yet, all the items said "supplied". I never choose substitutions. Usually, I get a notification when some items are out of stock, and a refund. No items were out of stock. Either they were not given to the driver, the driver gave them to someone else or kept them for himself. I didn't see any other bags in his car.
I always check all the items immediately and I tried to catch the driver, but he had already left.
Update: After talking to two lovely ladies on the phone, I got the missing items delivered quite promptly – they were left behind in the store. No idea what happened there.
The customer service agent and the manager she put me in touch with were very pleasant and understanding. Lovely people. The overall experience was still frustrating, though. In addition to the above, I waited on the line for a while until I got through to a person. Then we went back and forth and I was put on hold so many times I lost count. Overall, with the waiting time, I spent at least around an hour over the phone.
The first person I talked to was very nice, but she couldn't do much (not her fault, certain things have to be approved/authorised by higher-ups), so I asked to speak with a manager who was able to organise the delivery within less than hour after we spoke, which was about 1.5 hours after the initial delivery was made (where the items were missing), but much better than the 5-6 hours later option that I was offered at first.
I am doing something I have never done before on Trustpilot (because Trustpilot is reserved for the absolute worst experiences that I've had with companies that don't have Google review option which is my go-to): I'm changing the 1 star review to 2 stars – one star for each of the lovely ladies who very patiently and kindly dealt with my frustration.

I shop at Woolworths regularly and have had a consistently good experience. The stores are clean and well organised, which makes it quick and easy to get what I need. I also like the weekly specials, especially the half price sales, which are easy to spot and genuinely useful.
I use the rewards program to build Qantas points, which adds a bit of extra value over time. Overall it’s a reliable option for everyday shopping and I’ve found it to be consistent across visits.
