The food arrived very well packed and the instruction had to be got from a QR Link. The only meal I have had from the 5 that I chose is the Hanna Satay. The meal was cooked according to the instructions. It was heavily salted and the Veg only had three very thin sliced Green peppers and two slices of Red peppers. The amount of food and the taste of the chicken was good, but the saltiness was off putting.

Edited to say that the customer service was excellent and my issues were sorted promptly by the team. Good communication. I always appreciate this good service and would order again in the future.

I ordered a 3 meals for two box. It arrived on time but was not refrigerated and no cold packs were in the box to maintain a low temperature.
Two of the vegetable packs were blown and were immediately binned. Consequently I cooked the prawns up immediately but had to serve with chow mien as no vegetables for the stir fry.
The chicken for the other two meals were rank when opened and unusable. The pork for the sweet and sour was of very poor quality and when I looked at the ingredients it stated pork neck - not a nice cut!
It was not a value for money box and I definitely will not be ordering again :(

Unfortunately there was a problem with delivery.
The box was left in a neighbours drive there was no attempt to come to our house as we actually saw the delivery van drive off. We got a photo of where it was left and didn’t recognise it. Luckily our neighbour was curious and rescued the box for us! Carried it round to our house.

We enjoyed the food actually had 5 meals instead of 3. Certainly quick and easy to make. Enjoyed the selection.

What might put me off ordering again delivery and packaging,

Edit: Wowza did get back to me and everything got sorted quickly after that. I opted for a new delivery, which I just received. 1 star taken away for delay in response. I do like the food!

So disappointed. I am sure it's not WowzaBox fault, but delivery delayed (taking longer than 48 hours). What is WowzaBox fault: emailed them asking what to do. They say they get back to you within 24 hours. Heard nothing. Loved my previous boxes, but will have to throw this one away and write off the costs to experience. Shame!

Sorry but, as a Chinese person. This is a very expensive "Chinese" meal kit. For only 2 days you are paying so much for these cheap ingredients. Even looking at one of the videos, They don't even double check their spellings or grammar. you are ripping the white people so props to you. If everything was meant to be prepped, Why is the rice not even prepped? what if they dont have a rice cooker? for the quality wise, this should be worth half of it. We paid £60 for 2 days of Meal that is only above average quality. Better off going a Chinese restaurant to be honest. Similiar quality but much much cheaper and they make it for you.

Rice should have been prepped because rice stored in the fridge can still be as fresh. this kit is about prepping so they dont need to do a lot. I thought you guys are proper asians that know these things.

these boxes are an absolute lifesaver if for whatever reason you cant get to the shops or dont want to do loads of prep but still want an amazing Chinese meal

it all comes in containers, all the prep is done for you, you just have to heat and eat =)

the quality of ingredients is really, really good, every dish ive cooked the ingredients are premium and fresh and have tasted really good

as a treat a few times a year, these boxes are great. I only wish they'd add more dishes like Lemon Chicken :)

It's a little pricey but you won't feel short-chained as there's no faff, no shopping, no chopping, and no mess

I've just made the lychee king prawns while writing this review and honestly, it's unreal.

The chicken massaman curry is to die for. This is my second order and I'm reluctant to try anything because this is so good.

You don’t often find authentic Chinese food, especially Sichuan (objectively the best of the Chinese cuisines) food in the UK, and to get it you always have to visit pricey restaurants in the bigger cities.
I wasn’t incredibly optimistic about this but I was genuinely blown away by the results.
The best 酸菜鱼 (the pickles fish soup) I’ve had outside of China, for sure and the twice cooked pork was perfect.
Everything was very easy to make and so fast! Given how quick it all was, I was a little frazzled getting 4 dishes done for the same time, so plan ahead if you’re doing a big meal for multiple people. But couldn’t be easier or tastier.
1000% I’ll be ordering again.

Second time ordering and again not disappointed. Every dish we ordered was fresh ingredients in large portion sizes. As before all the dishes were easy to cook following the well constructed video instructions. Can’t wait for the third order!

Very tasty easy to follow recipes that’s on you Tube, and plenty of it. We done our own little banquet loved it

Sorry but the quality of the food was not what we expected. We ordered hot and sour soup and whilst the base broth was tasty the flat ribbon noodles were tough as was the “black bows” which we thought were perhaps seaweed which were inedible. The meat in the beef dish was very tough and chewy poor quality. We also had a prawn stir fry dish with carrot and cucumber vegetables. Following the instructions meant the carrots were barely cooked . The sauce had very little taste. We would not use this company again as we were very disappointed

Great value for money with huge portions - we shared each meal between two adults and a child and had plenty. The food was delicious, amazing flavours. I would love it if Wowzabox had an option to buy the prepared sauces separately, as this would give a little more leeway for menu planning (as the 3-day use-by, presumably due to the fresh meat, was a slight challenge).

Consistently outstanding, high quality Asian dishes that are easy to cook and will impress even the fussiest of dinner guests. I have ordered many times from Wowzabox and have never been disappointed. It is easy to order with great descriptions of each dish and a chilli rating just in case you have guests that do not like spice. You can also filter by preference on your type of protein, ingredient or dish. The stand out dishes for us are 1) Gong Bao Chicken, which is a cheekily fiery, sweet and earthy dish with beautiful tender chicken pieces and the added crunch of peanuts 2) the Massaman Chicken Curry which is sweet, rich with a gentle chilli heat and a creamy sauce 3) Lychee King Prawns, a great combination of sweet and sour (we put the prawns in the oven to make them crispier), 4) the Umami stiry fry with the most amazing savoury, rich sauce over aubergine, potato and peppers (who knew vegan cuisine could taste so moorish) and the Mongolian Lamb ribs which are lightly spiced, slightly salty with a delicate sweet after taste. Remember also to search for spring onion dip which does not necessarily show up on the side dishes but is a slightly spicy, garlicly gem of a sauce that adds a special kick to any dish. I also recommend the pickled radishes which is a generous sized portion that keeps for days. I have recommended to many and cannot wait to see more dishes added. Definitely way more superior to the usual takeaway and easy to cook for even the most novice of cooks with handy step by step videos.

Best meal was Massaman curry! Two others won't buy again tho. A nice change but eat by date meant had to give some away as couldn't eat all four meals in time
