After growing tired of wearing glasses with my eyes constantly declining rapidly, I attempted to get laser eye surgery at a high street opticians. I was turned down on the day of my surgery after tests determined my prescription was too high (-5.0) and my corneas were too thin. I was devastated and accepted I would have to wear glasses for the rest of my life. 2 years later I came across Accuvision and discovered they had a much broader and specialised range of treatments and equipment available than anywhere else I had previously seen. I decided to book a consultation at Accuvision London Fulham even though I didn’t have my hopes up seeing as I was now a -7.0. To my surprise, after running my eye tests with multiple opinions to confirm my suitability, it was determined that I was suitable for a Trans-Epi Lasek procedure with a further cross-linking surgery to stabilise my corneas to prevent any future issues that could arise.Both procedures only took an hour and I was comfortable the whole way through. The healing procedure was tough for the first two days but since I have felt free. The blessing to be able to see clearly is definitely something I will never take for granted. I am even relieved I had previously been turned down by the other opticians. The standard of care and support both pre-procedure and post-procedure has consistently been incredible. This is not a clinic that will abandon you after treatment, I have regular check up appointments. I am now 2 months post op and 20/20 on the chart. I am much happier and more confident. I can’t thank the team enough, I will forever be grateful.

The best decision I have made in a long time!
I had been happily wearing monovision contact lenses for 5 years, but my eyes were gradually drying out and my lenses were lifting at the edges, irritating my eyelids. I had been toying with the idea of LASIK surgery when a chance meeting with a lady praising Accuvision made up my mind.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Each stage was explained clearly and I never felt pressured. Natalia at the Wetherby clinic was a superstar and I felt that I was in safe hands throughout. Even though the surgery was explained step-by-step and was a painless experience, it still feels like there must have been some magic going on as I could see immediately!
My aftercare has been (and continues to be) amazing and the team have made every effort to accommodate me. My eyes quickly adjusted to my new monovision prescription and feel so much better now they are not irritated daily by contact lenses.
If you are considering laser eye surgery I would definitely recommend contacting Accuvision. You will find out all the facts and if you are suitable, there is no pressure and if you make the decision to go ahead you will be in the safest of hands.

I recently had laser surgery at the Wetherby Branch. The staff were fabulous and so welcoming. My sister Alison and I went together for every appointment and she was made just as welcome although not having surgery. From the very start everything was well explained and nerves settled. Couldn’t believe how comfortable and easy the surgery was. I was nervous because you really value your sight and didn’t want to take a big risk but I didn’t have to worry. I only needed one eye correcting and I was prepared to have both so I was impressed they didn’t do anything unnecessary to make money but explained how it was possible to do one eye for reading and the other eye was good for vision and explained how the brain figured it out which meant I wasn’t so much out of pocket. The result was amazing and immediate. Really good aftercare and my sister and I treated our visits as a day out as we came from Leeds. Definitely wish I had done it sooner, especially with the Pandemic and Foggy Glasses. Best decision made despite my slight hesitation. Far easier than I thought it would be. If you are thinking about doing it, don’t hesitate. I thought about doing it for years and I am so glad that I eventually made my mind up to go ahead. I am 63. My experience was a complicated one, so please read on.
I had quite a severe astigmatism and blepharitis and I'm 41.
Excellent service as I needed 2 visits to confirm suitability. Also to discuss MonoVision. I can highly recommend this. Some may be concerned about not having perfect vision initially, but if this means not wearing reading glasses for a few extra years, so be it. The only time in day to day life I notice this is going from dark to light, but your eyes adjust fairly quickly. Again, I stress, MonoVision is worth it. As is the LASIK procedure. I could see quite well the day after. My vision took about 10 weeks to adapt properly, though I was fine after 2 days.
At all points listen and do what your consultant advises and do those things (my vision took a while to adjust properly as I didn't do the exercises as I was instructed to).
Would I recommend LASIK, MonoVision and (as importantly) Accuvision to others?
100%.

After 30 years of wearing glasses and being told from numerous specialists in many different companies my complex prescription was too difficult for any sort of laser eye surgery I was reluctant to even book a consultation. However someone recommended Accuvision after years of being turned away just like me.

I went for my first consultation and I was welcomed with open arms. The consultation took about 45 minutes And they were extremely thorough checking my eye health from every angle which put me at ease knowing they were not going to take any risks. I was told pretty swiftly by the specialist, that I was able to have the procedure.

Excited and nervous 3 weeks couldn’t come fast enough. On the day of the surgery I was told to bring sunglasses as my eyes will be sensitive to light for the first day and possibly the 2nd day too. I arrived for the surgery and the surgeon talked me through what will happen. Scared of practically anything I was nervous and was expecting pain and wasn’t looking forward to it!

A small device was put around my eyelid to prevent my eye from closing, drops were put in my eyes and a laser light did the surgery within 10 seconds on each eye. I didn’t feel a thing! The on-site manager was also in the room with me even though he didn’t need to as support which i thought was a great touch.

I walked out within 5 mins and I could already see! I was advised to keep my eyes closed or not to open them much for the rest of the day. Woke up from a nap couple hours later and my vision was almost perfect albeit slightly blurry which is expected initially. Following day waking up and being able to see the time on the bedside table clock without needing to put on my glasses felt miraculous.

I am not one for writing reviews but I know there are people out there with worse vision then myself and I know how it can affect every part of your life. But if this helps even one person to contact accuvision and gain the confidence I have or be able to wear sunglasses on the beach then that’s a win!

Excellent customer care right from the start - from the friendly admin staff who are very helpful and easy to get hold of over the phone, to the clinicians who assessed me and to the surgeon and nurse who were extermely kind and made me feel at ease. The only thing that could be improved is that not all staff were wearing a face mask (I had my surgery during the Covid 19 pandemic) which made me feel a little uncomfortable at times. Apart from that, excellent and I'd recommend anyone to have it done here.

I had laser eye surgery with Accuvision two weeks ago - and have since been thoroughly enjoying life without glasses. The whole experience was faultless. I had an initial (free-of-charge) suitability check with another, very well-established, laser-eye surgery provider. The price quoted was very expensive, much more than I had been expecting due to their extensive advertising and I felt strongly pressured by them to accept the quote. About to give up on the idea, and resign myself to life with glasses, I saw some positive reviews for Accuvision so decided to give it one more go. I had the first consultation and was immediately impressed by the friendly and professional service. I was glad to pay for this first examination because unlike the free one with the other company, it meant I felt no pressure to go ahead with the surgery. At no point did I feel any pressure from the Accuvision team. I was delighted to find that the cost was very reasonable - less than I had thought it would cost. The surgery itself was, for me at least, painless and quick and I was back to work a day later. I was never rushed and the Accuvision team took time to answer all my questions, putting me at ease. Everyone was equally attentive at the post-surgery follow-up sessions - by which point all the staff knew my name and were very welcoming. All in all, it was a superb and very personal experience, where I was guided professionally and caringly through every stage of the process. I couldn't recommend them more highly!!! I only regret not doing the operation sooner.

My husband and I had our laser eye surgery at the Wetherby branch of Accuvision and received amazingly wonderful service from all the team but especially Natalya, who guided us through the whole process from start to finish. At no time did we feel like we were just customers and we really feel like we have made a friend. Superbly professional but great to get on with, she has put us at ease throughout. The actual operation was swift and well conducted and we have both gone from needing glasses pretty much all the time to having great vision.
My eyes needed special treatment so I see long distance in one eye and short in the other, so don't be put off if you have difficult prescriptions - you will find you can receive the successful treatment to enable you to be spectacle free. Today we had our final appointment, one year after our surgery, so it has all been conducted under strict COVID measures and we both felt very safe at all times. Thoroughly reccommend this business.

The entire staff is incredibly patient, helpful and polite. This is my second day after the operation, and I can happily say that I feel fantastic. The operation itself was very quick (probably no more than 10 minutes) and completely painless, and the nurse and doctors were extremely reassuring and attentive. Everyone has been great. I could not recommend this more.

Had the best experience with Natalia and the team. The service was impeccable and Natalia was incredibly thorough and explained everything that was going to happen. I have just had my final check and all is still absolutely brilliant.
I had the blended vision treatment in Sept 2019 and from start to finish have had an excellent experience. Natalia answered all my initial questions (fears!) with comforting knowledge and then completed all the check-ups to ensure continuity.
It took a while (3-4 months) for my eyes to get used to moving from outside light to inside but now it is not an issue.
In the interest of complete transparency the only tiny negative is night driving on tight country lanes. I mentioned this to Natalia and she advised me to get some glasses which she prescribed. This has sorted that problem, but having said that I think I have only worn them 2 or 3 times in the last 21 months!
All in all I highly recommend this process and AccuVision, and am extremely grateful to Natalia for her care; I will miss our fun conversations.

From start to finish, my experience with Accuvision at Parsons Green, London, has been incredible. They never once hounded me with sales calls like Optical Express did. I had my online Zoom appointment with Vik who was thorough with all the information and very friendly. I am an extremely nervous patient so for me, being in the right hands of nice and caring people was the most important part. I went to my consultation & eye testing with Vik a few weeks later, where I fainted, and Vik took such good care of me. I booked in to do my Lasik surgery two weeks later (so fast!) and I was beyond nervous. The entire team took incredible care of me. They all knew about how nervous I was, so they all took this into consideration and never once treated me just like another ordinary patient. They had a nurse in the operating room to hold my hand and they got me to count down from 50 when they were doing each eye. This helped me to relax and take my mind off it. The surgery was done in under 2 minutes each eye- absolutely incredible that it was done so quickly. I never felt a thing, as of course I had the anaesthetic drops and it wasn’t too uncomfortable either, just a little pressure.
They all congratulated me afterwards which made me feel really proud of myself to face such a great fear.
The next day I went to my follow up appointment and Vik took my contacts out and my vision was 20/20- less than 24 hours later, can you believe that?! It’s now 48 hours later and it feels like my vision is even better than it was yesterday.

I will be going back for many follow up appointments as well. They ask you to come back a week later, then one month after, three months after, six months after and then a year.

I could not have asked a better clinic to help me go through this scary process. I am over the moon with the entire process and the results. This was the best money I ever spent. I could not be happier! Thank you so much to the Accuvision team for changing my life.

I’ve just recently had my eyes lasered by Accuvision and I am more than grateful with what they have done for me not just on the day of my surgery but what they’ve done for me for life! My prescription was almost +9 and they’ve managed to get me down to a +2 and it will only get better as my eyes heal! So thankyou Accuvision for this life changing experience!!

I have kerataconus and have had it for 18 years.
I first went to Accuvision in 2008 and had surgery which involved UV cross-linking, this is not your standard laser eye surgery! I chose them because they were the only ones that I could find that could do this and at the time being an out-patient with Moorfields, had been told that I needed to lose 80% of my vision before they would operate!
Anyway I’ve had 3 ops in total with Accuvision as one eye developed it again after nearly a decade.
Treatment has been second to none and Vikash and the rest of the team treat you amazingly well.
My wife had lasik eye surgery there in 2011 as well.
100% recommendation from me.
