I sent in a device to be repaires back in April, they only did 1/2 of the work and returned the device without the components that were sent in with it, I returned it in June for the repairs to be completed and they have not done anything, that was that was 5 months ago. I send them emails and they respond with a standard response email.

I strongly recommend avoiding ACME Revival.

They have had my Walkman since May, and it is now almost October. Nearly five months later, I still do not have my Walkman back and have received no meaningful updates about when the repair will actually be completed.

After waiting this long, I asked to cancel the service and receive a refund. Instead of simply processing the cancellation, I was told they have to speak with the technician first. After holding my property and my money for months, there should not be another obstacle just to get a refund.

What makes the situation even more concerning is that they require payment through ACH instead of a credit card, which can make disputing the transaction through your bank more difficult.

The communication has been terrible, the turnaround time is completely unacceptable, and now getting my own money back has become another process.

Do yourself a favor and find another company. I would not trust ACME Revival with another item of mine.

They said it would be $79 to repair my glasses after they received them. They said it was 279 to repair them didn’t even open the box they charged me $25 shipping using my own shipping box companies a scam out of my $79 initial fee paid they sent me $35 dollars back cost me $44 plus $13 shipping for nothing

i wouldn't even give them 1 start. this company is trash. i send them my 3d printer to get fix and it will cost me more with them then other company's. also they are over priced. the customer service is horrible. they send my package back and on the transit. UPS damaged it. Now I'm in the hole for more then $800. UPS want give me my full amount when i send them the receipt where I got the printer from. I have lots so many customers due to them not replay. Will never do business with this trash company.

They sent me back the wrong item over a month ago.
They can't find my Theragun and haven't asked for the wrong one to be sent back.
I don't know how you can run a business like this.
Should have done more research before using them.

I sent back a makerbot motherboard for repair which I was quoted $428 for repairs and return shipping. 8 weeks later I received the board back and it still is non-functional. Buyer beware, I should have looked up the reviews before I sent it back, so shame on me, but hopefully this will prevent someone else from suffering the same fate. They are simply not a good company.

Horrible company to deal with and should be removed from the internet. They had my glasses for nearly a week and kept saying their tech had not received them. Repair cost was more the the price I paid for them orginally. The they wanted 35.00 to ship them back. It cost me 10.85 to ship them to Revival. They want payment by either check or electronic bank draft.

I wish I had read the reviews before doing business with this company.

They have had my device for over a month and continue to tell me they cannot provide an estimated repair date. I already paid the repair fee, which I later realized was nearly twice the cost of buying a new device.

When I asked whether they had even started the repair, they told me they had not. I then requested a refund and the return of my device, but they refused, claiming the replacement parts were already in transit. If the parts are supposedly being shipped, they should be able to provide an estimated arrival date. Instead, they repeatedly said they had no idea when the parts would arrive.

Shortly after I requested a refund, my account was deactivated, leaving me with no way to contact the technician. I have reached out to customer service multiple times and have yet to receive a response.

Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to proceed with caution before using this company.

Horrible experience. I should have read the reviews on here before I sent my device to them. I had a Thera gun Pro that stopped turning on. They quoted me $600 to repair it. At that point, I might as well buy a new Theragun. I declined the quote. Then they charge me $85 in “administration fees” & $35 to ship my device back to me. Looks like many others have had the same experience as me.

Wanted to charge more than it would cost to purchase a new device to repair the old one. When I refused they charged me an exorbitant amount for shipping (almost three times as much as it had cost for me to ship the device to them) and said that if I didn’t want to pay the return shipping, I should just let them keep the device, which they doubtlessly would have used for profit. Make no mistake, this is a scam to get you to pay them to refurbish your device for them just to sell it to someone else when you won’t pay their ransom fee.

Terrible experience. They claimed that they could repair an intro oral scanner. After I sent it, they took a month to evaluate and had me pay the repair costs upfront with a check. Later they said that they could not repair it and returned the product after many weeks. I have been getting run around for the refund for months. It looks like a scam.

Worst company I have delt with. 4 months to get an evaluation that they could not replace a simple roller.
Then returned the product without the charger and have got the run around for 3 month. Do not use this company!!

Terrible company lmao, quoted me more than retail value and then when asked for a return mfs said "120, 35 for shipping and 85 for administrative fees" please do not do business with these scammers. Their 5 star reviews are probably all fake, and the technician was just as bad as they AI'ed their entire statement. No diginity whatsoever. U guys are all cucks

Reading through all the complaints has left me with no choice but to agree with everyone else. If I had bothered to look up information about this "company" beforehand, I never would have sent my beloved Headphone and now sorely missed headphones in for repair. It took them over two weeks just to send me an update, and then they quoted me $500 to fix the left side—which has a low-volume issue—even though that is exactly how much I paid for the headphones themselves! It is completely unacceptable. I asked them to send the unit back to me, but now they claim it is in the "diagnostic phase" and that I can no longer cancel the service. How can a supposedly reputable company charge such an exorbitant fee without even knowing the root cause of the problem? They told me there was an option to cancel the repair, but when I tried to access it, the option wasn't available; now they tell me it's too late to cancel, yet they keep bombarding me with emails demanding payment! Don't fall for this scam!

I only recently started looking into this company, and I think they're a bunch of crooks. I sent them a gimbal for repair, and they quoted me an exorbitant price. I refused the repair, but I wanted it back. Now they're saying I approved it so they can keep it. I don't recommend this company; they're two-legged rats.

I wish I’d read these reviews prior to sending my router to them for a quote. Most of the replies from them AI generated and complete BS. Do some research. They are involved in many lawsuits, especially in Denver Colorado. DA is investigating them. The quote I received my router was $150 more than buying a new one. It’s a complete scam.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company and would strongly caution others before doing business with them.
I sent in a camera for repair and, after approving the initial quote, the process quickly became problematic. The device has now been in their possession for several weeks with minimal transparency. More concerning, they are attempting to charge a final balance that exceeds the cost of purchasing the same camera brand new.
At no point did I receive clear or adequate notification regarding any payment deadlines, administrative fees, or risk of additional charges. These fees were later applied and used as justification to withhold my property unless I pay an inflated balance.
This feels like a bait-and-switch model—get the customer’s approval upfront, then layer on fees and policies that were not reasonably communicated, ultimately putting the customer in a position where retrieving their own property becomes financially unreasonable.
A reputable business should operate with transparency, fairness, and common sense. Charging more than the value of the item itself and refusing to return it without payment raises serious concerns about ethics and customer treatment.
I am currently exploring further action to retrieve my property.

This is a terrible business. They kept sending me emails that I needed to send them money when I had already agreed to sell them my device. I have the emails and the screenshots that show this. They then kept giving me the check is in the mail line. We are now at the three month mark and I still have not received my payment from the company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! These is a fraud front!

Unite was send for repair with cutting issue -Came back not printing "After further review, Acme Revival has determined that this Additional Repair Guarantee Claim does not fall within the scope of coverage." $180 later I can’t overstate how disappointed I am with the service. The unit worked until the cutting issue appeared, and after the “repair,” it stopped functioning entirely.
