Since inception in 2019, ACORN STAIRLIFTS, AUSTRALIA staff, led by Martin Ridsdale and Tony Overland, have provided positive, professional understanding and friendly assistance throughout the selection and installation of our ACORN 180 Outdoor stairlift at our Sanctuary Cove, Queensland residence.

Installation by the ACORN technical support staff, led by Steve Gillett, was expeditious and professional. Further, Steve took the time to explain and demonstrate, the three different ways our stairlift could end on the walkway so that we had a real-time example to make our decision. It was most helpful and we are thrilled with the result.

Further, ACORN support liaison by Karl was instantaneous and potential problems were resolved.

All of our requirements have now been met by ACORN Australia’s professional staff.

Our ACORN 180 is safe, attractive and quiet. It provides safe access to our apartment. It is an asset that now allows us to remain in our residence.

Excellent service from first contact, appointment to measure and quote, and subsequent installation. All contacts were knowledgable and helpful. The product is beautifully made and routine maintenance (cleaning & lubricating) for the owner is easy. One minor niggle is the 24/7 continuously flashing "fully charged" indicator.

We recently needed to replace our very old second hand stair lift that had done sterling service.
From the arranging of the quotation to installing a new lift to the actual installation, things were done as and when promised. From the initial phone contact, to the quotation and the installer, all were professional, polite and competent. Very happy with new stair lift.

I found everything satisfactory. However the technician was reluctant to run wire to power point along floor, so we compromised. If this proves unsatisfactory I shall have it moved. Otherwise, as I said, everything was good.

Great friendly service and install by Reece who journeyed to our home in Canberra from Sydney. We are very pleased with our decision to choose the Acorn curved stairlift for our difficult stairs. Accessing our bathrooms and bedrooms upstairs is now so much easier now and as we get older. And we can still use the stairs on occasions. Nice tidy job with a high quality stairlift which matches well with our decor. Thank you Acorn!

Very happy with the process. Only hiccup was aproblem with communication when acorns server went down.

From the time the sales rep came to quote until installation was only one week. They matched a quote I had from another stair lift company without a problem. The installation team was prompt, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They didn't rush explaining all the details about the workings of the chair to my mother and she was extremely happy with the service.

Acorn managed to install a chairlift very quickly from date of order, in time for my father to come home. The system works very well. I’m not sure how we would have managed without it.

Difficult External Terrain

Extremely pleased with not just the stairlift itself, which is excellent, but also the friendly and professional installation into really quite difficult steep outside terrain.
