Great Service, Simple to use, so much more than an alarm
Great Service, Fast install and fantastic after sales service.
We dealt with Alarms Are Us, Local security partner for Verisure. Mac was super knowledgable about the system as well as other solutions on the market and being able to explain the pros and cons for each. Silviu the engineer was extremely efficient compared to the guy who installed our previous system. Silviu was tidy, fast and thorough at explaining how to use the system for both my wife and daughter. The previous companies engineer left equipment in our hallway outside the toilet door which my wife fell over and had to call for help on how to install the system several times and thinking he was new we let it go, until he left and we asked and he had been with his company for over 10 years?
We took advantage of the 14 day cooling off period with Verisure to run both our systems in tandem and compare. (amazing they are that confident the will install and then give you 14 days to confirm what they told is all true)
Verisure Called me within seconds of an activation and were also able to tell me that my cat had set off the alarm and in which room as we had forgotten to close our living room door to prevent the cats from setting off the alarm.
On our way home to remedy the situation, we had another call from Verisure and again a HUMAN spoke to us and reassured us there was nothing to be concerned about as the system was reactivated after the last trigger and it was the cat AGAIN.
Our current provider took 90 minutes to respond to an activation on our system and then called our home number through an automated system and asked me to select option 1 if I wanted to acknowledge and investigate my own alarm. An expensive phone call as we pay in the region of £30+ a month just so we can respond to our own alarm. Pointless, if i was a burglar and answered the phone i would have been able to disable any further action by pressing 1 and no other code needed - really secure from a company that's been around for over 50 years!
After looking at our options we decided to cancel our service with our current provider.
Thank you Verisure for the great service thus far. We also love the ability to be able to check on our babysitters, cats etc via the HD camera and listen in and speak to them via the Cam. Thank you Alarms Are US
