Order errors & very poor customer service
Company provided a competitive quote for a large order re master bath, en-suite and cloakroom, however, we faced a number of issues from that point forward. The expensive shower screen bared no resemblance to the product that we were sold nor the image on our order form (very large chrome brackets), but Alternative Bathrooms refused to exchange/refund because its box had been opened (blamed supplier - Merlyn Showers). The sales person ordered the wrong toilet seats, not soft close which was clearly stated on our order but is refusing the exchange them. If you decide to buy from this company, make sure you have physically seen the exact item beforehand, ensure the sales person enters the a full description of the product and supplier product code/sku on the order so that you can check that they are ordering the correct item and it is as described, and only pay using a credit/debit card (which we thankfully did). They are nice enough 'sales' guys but they do not understand the products that they're selling, nor do they offer practical advice and the company has no interest in after-sales / customer services. Aside from the above issues, we had to chase deliveries and had other problems with wrong/incompatible products but we were eventually able to exchange those ones. I am certain that there are more professional bathroom shops around with better after-sale customer service. A Ealing/Brentford branch customer.
