Overall excellent experience
I have been making a lot of purchases from Amazon over the past few years. For the most part I have been happy with the company. The only problem I ever had was with a car part that was on back order for a year before being cancelled due to supply issues. I would like to see the option to call or email an actual human for customer service rather than a robot.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the lack of support and responsibility for your delivery services. The subcontracted drivers from Dragonfly and Intercom have consistently failed to deliver my orders reliably. Despite numerous complaints, there has been no improvement in service quality.
Furthermore, I am appalled by your demand that I respond to an email to delete my account, It is not lawful to require such a waiver for account cancellation. When I attempted to delete my account, I was rudely denied access, and the cancellation page displayed an inappropriate message stating, "Nothing to do here." This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
I hereby revoke permission for Amazon to use any of my personal, financial, residential, or other information. You no longer have authorization to utilize my data for any purpose.
Additionally, all financial cards have been removed from my account, and I, Cindy Gimnes, do not authorize Amazon to use them or any of my personal information. Such use would be illegal.
Please confirm that my request has been processed and that my data has been completely removed from your systems.

Showed me an ad for 3 months free while signed in then when I signed up I got 1 month. False advertising and very scammy.
A scam website
A scam website. Sells a ton of unsafe, recalled, and fraudulent items. Deletes reviews if they are bad. Doesn’t take reported dangerous items seriously including a type of litter box known to have KILLED multiple cats. Sells 15amp fuses and claims they are 2 amp thus leading to fire. Allows users to get good reviews on an item and then swap the item but keep the reviews. Changes delivery dates after you buy so you can’t make informed choices. Basically an entire site of scams.
HOrrible delivery from Intelcomm (Dragonfly now)
I have been a customer of Amazon for many years. I never had issues with deliveries until they started dealing with Intelcomm (now Dragonfly). They have never delivered anything on time. I have complained to Amazon a few times now about them, but they still use them. I am going to look into deleting my account. They want to hire incompetent companies, then I need to find another supplier.....
I subscribe for auto-deliveries
I subscribe for auto-deliveries with Amazon.ca and after some months I cancelled my subscription on July 16, 2024 and I received the the confirmation of the cancellation by e-mail, however Amazon still changing me every month. I got in touch with the support many times but they were unable to say what is going on and I don't have any solution so far. Karoline.
Worst customer service experience
I ordered an expensive item on Amazon renewed to be delivered the next day in my vacation adress.
Amazon decided to cancel the order during the night without informing me. On the order they are lying saying that ’’the customer refused delivery because the order was previously cancelled‘‘ Wich is false because I was sleeping when Amazon decided to cancel the order.
They are not willing to refund me until 30 Days (time they get the item back) but they decided to cancel the order and I never received it ! So they don't want to give my money back for an item I never touched nor seen in real life!
On top of that when I call the customer service the supervisor hang up on me telling me : I dont have anything to say to you anymore.
They are holding 799$, don't want to refund even when they make mistakes and treat badly their Prime customers.
I will definitly cancel all subscription with Amazon.
I'm no longer an Amazon customer.
It's a company worth over a trillion dollars and they can't afford customer service. I has an issue that could have been solved in 5 seconds but the only options for help are to speak with a worthless robot or follow an equally useless set of self help links. I'm deleting my account and swearing off ordering from them again, I encourage others to do the same. Let's see how much money they save on customer service when Noone is a customer.
"Guaranteed" delivery dates…
Their "guaranteed" delivery dates aren't worth the pixels used to show them. It's usually 1 day to 1.5 weeks early. When it is early, it's being delivered late in the day on the new "guaranteed" delivery date.
I've had to cancel many appointments as a result of this, and am out at least $300 because of it.
I truly wish they would stick to the original delivery date.
I have a friend that's a lawyer. I'm tempted to ask him if these "guaranteed" delivery dates, that never are guaranteed, could be a basis for a false advertising charge.

Simply the worse shop ever built from all perspectives, it's only bugs, payments errors, customer service incompetent, they change delivery date as they wish, they violate their own rules and policies as it's better for them, it's a company working with the worse practices I ever see, they only want your money, nothing else? Only blind people can buy from Amazon, they are the most expensive with the worse service and nothing here makes sense! This only a shopgkr intelligent people!, Normally it should be closed and they should pay billions of fines for violate laws everyday!

Absolutely puzzles me that this company gets so low ratings. I have only good things to say about them. Where else you can get most of the items delivered to you the next day? Where else do you have such selection?

Basically steals your money. Items don't get delivered, Amazon says it's not eligible for return/refund. Offers courtesy credit, I purchase items that never arrive. Amazon can't find them either, tells me the only option is refund, but then refuses to refund the courtesy credit. They scammed me! After years of being a loyal customer, I've had enough! 😮💨😓 spoke to supervisor, he refused to properly identify himself (because he knows he lied & scammed me!) He would only tell me his name is "dj" 😒
Amazon LIED to me.
I bought a lot of fishing gear in the last few months off Amazon and I was very happy. Then I ordered new line for my reel. They said it would be inin 5 days on a Sunday. They said it was shipped. Sunday came and the site said it would be in that day. Around noon I checked and it said my line would be in by 8 PM so I took the old line off my reel. A couple hours later I got an email saying it would now be in 6 days later, even though they said that morning that it was at the Amazon facility and would be in that day. THEY LIED TO ME. So now I have to go all week without fishing because THEY LIED TO ME. Otherwise I wouldn't have taken my old line off until the new stuff came in. I immediately cancelled my prime and now am waiting for my line and one other order they LIED about. Then I am DONE with Amazon. Very unethical. This was Amazon Canada.
Guaranteed Delivery Dates shouldn't change
The most concerning practice of Amazon is to send written documentation of "guaranteed" delivery dates, only to change them at the end of the day.
Monitor ordered Tuesday, email of the "Prime Two Day Shipping" guaranteed date is Friday.
New email this evening (Fri) telling me my new guaranteed delivery date is Monday!

especially that certain conditions shall be fulfilled relating to a product, service, or transaction

I returned my order through Purolater 2 weeks ago. I had called Amazon regarding my refund and was told they see I dropped it off and I will receive my refund. I just called back again and now they say they cannot see that I dropped it off. I was on the line for over 30 minutes and had enough and hung up. You cannot even on their website find how to contact them. I am considering closing my Amazon account altogether. The service sucks. It's not worth anymore ordering with them. Returns are terrible now.
Representatives and Supervisor hung up on me
The agent was speaking over me, had an attitude for no reason, he kept cutting me of and calling me Reem, which is not my name. I eventually told him my name again. He brushed me, and put me on hold for a while. Came back, and called me Reem again. I told him that it's now my second time telling him that my name is not Reem. He then hung up on me. I called back for a supervisor, waited almost an hour. the supervisor said they couldn't process my complaint due to system issues. I called back the next day, I waited a while and this "supervisor" sounded like the same person. He called me Lee (I'm a woman and my name is not Lee) He proceeded to tell me the reason for my call, and when he finally stopped talking I began and he hung up. I think outsourcing customer service to the Philippines was a mistake, the agents have no respect for clients.
Lowest Customer Service
Almost every product I've purchased in the last 1.5 years from Amazon has died.
They no longer do anything for customer satisfaction, just give you a phone number to call the manufacturer for warrenty (3rd party seller) who never responds or answers their voice-mail or messages.
Amazon used to at least try to support customer retention, now they could care less. I've had to go through multiple agents to get this resolved. Purchased a dog grooming kit, it died after the 2nd use within 5 months and they can only offer a partial credit, had to finally escalate to a supervisor as the agents do nothing.
Amazon should back up the products they sell or stop allowing crappy 3rd party sub-par sellers to sell products on their platform. Posting a negative review does nothing as I still see the same sellers selling their lousy products (Oneisall dog grooming clippers) and sometimes the review gets removed.
Time to spend my money elsewhere.
Amazon refuses to recognize my payment method, No help available .
I changed my payment method to my checking account yet my payment didn't go through for prime membership. I assume I can no longer purchase on Amazon either. I keep getting messages that I need to update my payment method, but I already did.
I was unable to get a chat option after trying several times. Being.alone, elderly, hard of hearing, I don't do well at all with phone calls. Even worse, Amazon knows they have this exact same proplem with others. With chat all messed up and my having a pretty good idea they won't go to the trouble to respond to this as individuals are of little concern to them...I guess I'm out of luck... C'est la vie
Amazon Canada Customer Service is Garbage
I have gotten nothing but the run around by Amazon from the Edmonton Warehouse failing to deliver a parcel they have had in their possession since April 26th it has been rescheduled for delivery three times by Amazon and failed to be delivered and Customer Service refuses to refund the missing parcel which Amazon has in their possession in the Edmonton, AB warehouse. It is being reported to my credit card company for this gross incompetence as this is theft of money by Amazon of nearly $60 and failing to deliver a parcel within the promised delivery window. Telling me to wait for an investigation and 10 business days for them to figure out what happened is complete BS. And will be reported accordingly to the credit card company as fraud on the part of Amazon. Customer Service is absolutely useless. Garbage customer service.
